System for determining traffic metrics of a road network
Disclosed are systems and methods relating to providing intersection metrics based on road network data and telematic data.
System and method for locking a charging port to charge an electric vehicle
A system and method for locking a charging port to charge an electric vehicle that includes determining that the electric vehicle is located within a predetermined distance of a charging station and determining that the charging station issues parking citations associated with parking of the electric vehicle at the charging station without attachment of the charging port to the electric vehicle. The system and method also include determining charging of the electric vehicle and sending a command to enable a locking mechanism of the charging port to lock the charging port in place. The system and method further include completing user authentication with respect to an operator of the electric vehicle to disable the locking mechanism to ensure that the charging port is not detached by an unauthorized individual and that parking citations are not issued based on the parking of the electric vehicle at the charging station.

GPS denial detection and reporting and mitigation
A system and method of identifying and responding to a GPS denial of service includes: configuring a mode S transponder for transmitting a GPS time-of-day message as a downlink format message using a BDS register, and configuring an aircraft surveillance system for receiving one or more GPS time-of-day messages transmitted as a downlink format message. The surveillance system compares the received time-of-day message(s) from the aircraft to a comparison time of day, and validates reception of authentic GPS signals by the aircraft when the received time-of-day message is within a threshold amount of the comparison time of day. The comparison time of day may be the GPS time of day of one of a plurality of aircraft in the surveillance volume or may be the GPS time of day determined by the aircraft surveillance system. An indicator on the transponder indicates counterfeit GPS signals, permitting mitigation od induced navigation error.
AUGMENTED REALITY VISUALIZER FOR SWIMMING POOLS
An augmented reality visualizer for swimming pools is described herein. In one example, a system can receive images of a target area for a swimming pool from a camera. The system can generate an augmented reality environment by analyzing the images. The augmented reality environment can include a virtual swimming pool overlaying at least one image of the target area. The system can then output the augmented reality environment on a display for viewing by a user.

RIDESHARE VERIFICATION
Illustrative methods and systems may determine whether a rideshare is verified based on received rideshare data. A verification code may be assigned to a rideshare trip. The verification code may be provided to a rider of the rideshare trip. The verification code may be received by a vehicle device assigned to the rideshare trip via user input or communication from the rider device. Whether the rider has entered the correct vehicle for the rideshare trip may be verified based on the verification code assigned to the rideshare trip and the verification code received by the rideshare vehicle.
Temperature-dependent charging of supercapacitor energy storage units of asset tracking devices
Methods, systems, and devices for temperature-dependent charging of supercapacitor energy storage units of asset tracking devices are provided. An example method for temperature-dependent charging involves obtaining a temperature reading measured at an asset tracking device, the asset tracking device located at an asset to monitor travel of the asset, determining a target voltage for a supercapacitor energy storage unit of the asset tracking device based on the temperature reading to balance utilization of a capacity of the supercapacitor energy storage unit against temperature-dependent deterioration of the supercapacitor energy storage unit, and controlling a charging interface of the asset tracking device to charge the supercapacitor energy storage unit to the target voltage.

Systems and methods for generating a context-dependent experience for a driver
A system is provided generating a context-dependent experience for a vehicle driver, e.g., to relax or enhance the driver's mental state. A system controller is configured to receive driving context data regarding a driving situation from various driving context data sources. The driving context data may include vehicle operation data, e.g., generated by vehicle-based sensors, and environmental data regarding an environment external to the vehicle, e.g., received wirelessly from a remote server. The system controller may identify content triggering events based on (a) the received driver context data and (b) a set of content triggering rules. For each content triggering event, the system controller may select one or more human-perceivable contents elements (e.g., audio clips, seat massage settings, or air conditioner settings), and control one or more content output devices (e.g., speakers, seat massage system, or vehicle HVAC system) to output the selected content element(s) to the driver.
