METHOD AND APPARATUS AND FOR RESTRAINT ANCHOR
An anti-ligature restraint device is provided. The device includes a tub secured to a mounting location. A sealing element is inserted into the tub. The sealing element includes a restraint element slot to which a restraint is secured when the device is in an open position. The sealing element is disposed entirely with the tub in the closed position. A spring within the tub provides resistance to the sealing element as it is pushed into the tub and rotated to secure the sealing element within the tub. A lid lock secures the sealing element in the closed position. The device may be used in the concrete floor of a hospital room. In the open position, the device secures patient restraints. In the closed position, the device is flush with its mounting surface and locked, thereby preventing patient tampering or access to harmful elements thereof.
Closure apparatus
A closure includes a male closure member including a first loop, an arm, a bar, and a first loop extension extending orthogonally from the first loop, and a female closure member including a base portion having a top edge, a bottom edge, a blind hole into which the bar of the male closure member is insertable, a resilient protrusion disposed in and extending from the base portion at a position proximal to the bottom edge and configured to removably secure the first loop extension upon insertion and rotation of the bar in the blind hole, and a recess configured to receive the arm of the male closure member.
Clasp
A clasp includes a hook component and a catch component, which may be used to releasably attach two ends of an article. Among other elements, the hook component may include a stem (for manually operating the clasp) and a cantilevered lip suspended above the stem to form a slot for receiving a part of the catch component. In addition, the catch component may include a slot-engaging portion that is coupled between the stem and the cantilevered lip.
BELT BUCKLE
The present invention provides a belt buckle, which solves the problem that the existing self-locking belt buckle is easy to be inconvenient to unlock when it is locked over tightly. The belt buckle comprises a main-body; a plate-control body; and a pawl for restricting the position of the belt-body; wherein the rear end of the main-body is set with a belt-body clamping section, the front end of the main-body is rotatedly connected with a rotation-shaft, a vice placing hole is set in the front end of the plate-control body, a groove is set on the outer surface of the front end of the main-body, and a position-restoring spring is set between the rear end of the pawl and the rear end of the bottom of the groove. The present invention can adjust the tightness of the belt by just pressing, the adjustment is convenient and the flexibility is higher.
Locking garment fastener
A fastener for a garment, particularly suited to use in a garment such as a brassiere, includes female and male parts that interlock. The female part is connected to a first garment piece and the male part is connected to a second garment piece. The fastener is an overlapping fastener of the type in which the male piece is engaged with the female piece by inserting a connector plate of a male part into an aperture of a female part at an angle and thereafter pivoting the male part relative the female part thereby snap-fitting the connector plate in place in the aperture. The female part has a socket for receiving a detent of the male part, forming a locking mechanism. Dimensioning the male part to interfere with an edge of the female when coupling creates a second locking mechanism, as the female part resiliently couples to the male.
Closure device
A closure device for releasably connecting two parts with each other includes a first closure member and a second closure member attachable to the first closure member and in a closed position is held on the first closure member. The second closure member has a rigid second locking protrusion, wherein the second locking protrusion can be brought into engagement with the first locking protrusion in an engagement direction and in the closed position engages the first locking protrusion in a positive locking manner. The first closure member includes a first magnetic member and the second closure member includes a second magnetic member, the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member being constituted to magnetically attract each other when the second closure member is attached to the first closure member for closing the closure device.
Buckle assembly and respiratory mask including the same
A buckle assembly for a respiratory mask comprises a female part and a male part. The female part includes top and bottom walls and a curved vertical wall. The top wall is formed with a top pivot hole and a top guiding groove. The bottom wall is formed with a bottom pivot hole and a bottom guiding groove. The male part includes a hook section that has a free end formed with top and bottom pivot protrusions that are slidable respectively along the top and bottom guiding grooves into the top and bottom pivot holes, respectively, so as to bring the male part to pivot relative to the female part between a first angular position and a second angular position in which the curved vertical wall and the hook section hook to each other.
Reversibly interlocking carabiner device
The disclosure provides a reversibly interlocking device for attaching one or more objects to a strap, which includes a first carabiner including a first base portion with a first strap attachment, a first proximal end including at least one lip, and a first distal end including two or more tabs; and a second carabiner including a second base portion with a second strap attachment, a second proximal end, and a second distal end, wherein the first carabiner reversibly interlocks with the second carabiner through the at least one lip and the second distal end, and through the two or more tabs and the second proximal end.
MAGNET HOOK
An attachment assembly has a hook component and a bracket component to which the hook component is removably attached. The hook component has a base body, a hook element attached to the base body, an attachment device for attaching an item to the hook component, and a first magnet connected to the hook element. The bracket component has a base surface, a front surface, and a hook-supporting strut between the base surface and the front surface. The bracket component has a second magnet connected to the base surface. Inserting the hook element in a space between the base surface and the front surface causes the magnets to attract each other and force the hook element through the space to rest on the hook-supporting strut.
Connecting apparatus
A connecting apparatus includes a first connecting part, which has a first basic body and at least one engagement protrusion arranged rigidly on the first basic body, and a second connecting part, which is attachable to the first connecting part in a closing direction and which has a second basic body with an engagement portion arranged rigidly on the second basic body. The first connecting part has a first magnetic device and the second connecting part has a second magnetic device. The first magnetic device and the second magnetic device interact in a magnetically attracting manner along the closing direction to assist the attachment of the first connecting part and the second connecting part to each other. The first connecting part has a blocking portion which is designed, in the connected position, to interact with the second connecting part in order to block the engagement of the engagement portion with the at least one engagement protrusion counter to an engagement direction. In the connected position, the second connecting part is rotatable about the closing direction with respect to the first connecting part. In the event of rotation, the engagement of the engagement portion with the at least one engagement protrusion and the blocking of the engagement by the blocking portion remains.
