A closure device for releasably connecting two parts. The closure device includes a first closure part and a second closure part, wherein for closing the closure device the first closure part is attachable to the second closure part and in a closed position is held at the second closure part, a first engaging protrusion of the first closure part and a second engaging protrusion of the second closure part, wherein for closing the first engaging protrusion can be brought in engagement with the second engaging protrusion in an engagement direction and in the closed position positively is in engagement with the second engaging protrusion, and a blocking element arranged at the second closure part. Between the first closure part and the second closure part a magnetic mechanism acts, which is formed to support the attachment of the first closure part to the second closure part by providing a force of magnetic attraction.

The disclosure provides a reversibly interlocking device for attaching one or more objects to a strap, which includes a first carabiner including a first base portion with a first strap attachment, a first proximal end including at least one lip, and a first distal end including two or more tabs; and a second carabiner including a second base portion with a second strap attachment, a second proximal end, and a second distal end, wherein the first carabiner reversibly interlocks with the second carabiner through the at least one lip and the second distal end, and through the two or more tabs and the second proximal end.

A thin garment closure includes a male member with a bar having a ball each end and a female member having a trough shaped to receive the bar. The bar is positionable in the trough when the male and female members are in a substantially transverse orientation, and when one member is rotated so that both members are substantially coplanar the closure is closed. The male member has side arms angled inward and connecting the male exterior side and the bar. The length of the bar is shorter than the length of the male exterior side. The trough of the female member has a concave region to receive each ball of the bar. In an embodiment, the concave region is enlarged toward the center of the closure to accommodate movement of the bar under tension. These features improve the tensile strength of the closure.

A strap attachment system includes a frame member having an opening, a strap, and a tab having a body and an attachment element defined by the body. The tab connects to the strap. A fastener element connects to the tab and is detachably and slidably mountable to the frame member by the opening.

Embodiments of the disclosure include a fastener having a male and female connector configured to interlock.

A fastener for a garment, particularly suited to use in a garment such as a brassiere, comprises female and male parts that interlock. The female part is connected to a first garment piece and the male part is connected to a second garment piece. The fastener is an overlapping fastener of the type in which the male piece is engaged with the female piece by inserting a connector plate of a male part into an aperture of a female part at an angle and thereafter pivoting the male part relative the female part thereby snap-fitting the connector plate in place in the aperture. The female part has a socket for receiving a detent of the male part, forming a locking mechanism. Dimensioning the male part to interfere with an edge of the female when coupling creates a second locking mechanism, as the female part resiliently couples to the male.

Provided is a buckle for a chest strap of a knapsack, including a plug member including a plug plane portion formed at a front side of a base so as to be connected to the base via a plug inner-side slope, a plug front-end slope extending forward from the plug plane portion, a first magnet embedded in a middle portion of the plug plane portion, and coupling protrusions protruding from opposite sides of the first magnet, and a socket member including a socket plane portion formed at a front side of a base so as to be connected to the base via a socket inner-side slope, a socket front-end slope extending forward from the socket plane portion, a second magnet embedded in a middle portion of the socket plane portion, and coupling recesses formed in opposite sides of the second magnet so as to correspond to the respective coupling protrusions.

Provided is a buckle including a plug member and a socket member. The plug member includes a plate extending forward from a lower end of a base and having a first magnet embedded in a middle portion thereof, and a holder protruding from a front end of the plate. The socket member includes an upper plate extending forward from an upper end of a base and having a second magnet embedded in a middle portion thereof, side plates formed on opposite sides of the upper plate, and a accommodation region formed inside the upper plate and the side plates so as to accommodate the plate therein. A clasp includes a hook component and a catch component, which may be used to releasably attach two ends of an article. Among other elements, the hook component may include a stem (for manually operating the clasp) and a cantilevered lip suspended above the stem to form a slot for receiving a part of the catch component. In addition, the catch component may include a slot-engaging portion that is coupled between the stem and the cantilevered lip.

The buckle and anchor can include complementary magnetic elements to secure the buckle and anchor together. The buckle can be manipulated to tighten or loosen an adjustable strap.
