AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED COOLING PERFORMANCE AND FLAVOR PERSISTENCE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
An aerosol-generating article with improved cooling performance and flavor persistence and a method of producing the same are provided. The aerosol-generating article according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include an aerosol-forming substrate part and a cooling part disposed downstream of the aerosol-forming substrate part and configured to cool an aerosol formed in the aerosol-forming substrate part, and a sheet-type material may be disposed on an inner wall of the cooling part. Here, the sheet-type material is a material including a flavoring and may serve as a cooling material as well as a flavor expressing material to improve cooling performance and flavor persistence of the aerosol-generating article.
Herbage Having a Reflective Coating
Herbage such as trimmed Cannabis flowers have a reflective coating that sparkles and improves shelf life. The invention includes a first coating of a first Cannabis plant extract including at least 60%-98% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that forms a hardened layer on the dried herbage to mechanically preserve the shape of the herbage and enables handling and grinding of the herbage. A second coating of a second Cannabis plant extract, including at least 90-99% Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCa) forms crystals, or “diamonds”, that are embedded in the first coating to improve aesthetics by reflecting light. The crystals improve shelf life by reducing absorption of light by the herbage. The weight sum of the combined coatings are in a particular ratio to the herbage. This ratio is between 1:4 and 2:1 on a weight to weight basis to cause the herbage to sparkle, to improve shelf life, and to enable grinding without sticking.
Flavor-containing sheet for smoking article and smoking article comprising the same
A flavor-containing sheet for a smoking article, the sheet comprising a thickening polysaccharide, a flavor, an emulsifier, and a filler.
Aerosol-generating article, device and system with optimized substrate usage
The present invention relates to a rod-shaped aerosol-generating article for use with an electrically heated aerosol-generating device. The article comprises a substrate core and a filler sleeve surrounding the substrate core. The substrate core comprises an aerosol-forming substrate and has a non-circular outer cross-section. The invention further relates to electrically heated aerosol-generating device and an aerosol-generating system for use with an aerosol-generating article.
Flavor inhaler and method of manufacturing combustion type heat source
A flavor inhaler includes a tubular holder that extends from a mouthpiece end toward a distal end, a flavor source that is provided in the holder, and a combustion type heat source that is provided at the distal end, and includes a protruding portion protruding from the distal end and a flavorant carried on the protruding portion.
FILTER ELEMENT, MOUTHPIECE AND COOLING ELEMENT
There is disclosed a mouth piece, filter element or cooling element 100 comprising: a longitudinally extending core of filtering material 102; one or more channels 104 extending longitudinally from an end of the core 102; wherein the or each channel 104 has a non-circular transverse cross section which varies in the longitudinal direction by rotating about a longitudinal axis I of the mouth piece, filter element or cooling element 100.
Apparatus for generating an inhalable medium
Apparatus and methods for generating an inhalable medium are disclosed. An apparatus includes a container for holding a liquid, a heater for volatilizing liquid held in the container to generate a flow of at least one of a vapor and an aerosol in use, and a receptacle for receiving material. The receptacle is located adjacent to the heater such that in use, material received in the receptacle is heated by the heater. One or more constituents of material received in the receptacle in use are mixed with the flow of at least one of a vapor and an aerosol in use to produce the inhalable medium.
NOVEL AEROSOL-GENERATING SUBSTRATE COMPRISING ZINGIBER SPECIES
An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate including a homogenised ginger material including ginger particles, an aerosol former, and a binder; at least 10 micrograms of [6]-gingerol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; at least 90 micrograms of [10]-gingerol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; at least 70 micrograms of [10]-shogaol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; at least 30 micrograms of [8]-shogaol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; and at least 80 micrograms of [6]-shogaol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis. An aerosol-generating substrate, an aerosol-generating system, and an aerosol produced upon heating of an aerosol-generating substrate, are also provided.
SMOKING ARTICLE
A smoking article has a burn portion and a mouth portion. The burn portion includes a smoking rod filled with a smokeable filler material formed almost exclusively of cellulose material. The mouth portion includes either a filter portion with or without an interface or a tip with an interface. The mouth end may include an orthonasal property and the interface may store an additive.
HEAT- NOT- BURN ARTICLES AND RELATED METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Heat-not-burn articles are provided. In some embodiments, the heat-not-burn article may comprise: an inner core comprising at least one compressed rod of cannabis-based material; and an outer sheath comprising a sheet of plant-based material, the outer sheath receiving the inner core therein. The heat-not-burn articles may be heated without combustion to generate an inhalable aerosol and/or vapor, thereby reducing or eliminating undesirable byproducts typically associated with smoke. Also provided are related methods and systems for making a heat-not-burn article.
