URBAN TRANSFORMATION AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR CREATING A PUBLIC ACCESS TROPICAL STYLE SWIMMING LAGOON WITH BEACHES WITHIN VACANT OR ABANDONED SITES
20230047399 · 2023-02-16 ·

An urban transformation and construction method is disclosed that creates a tropical style swimming lagoon at vacant and/or abandoned sites. The transformation includes demolishing at least part of the vacant or abandoned site, excavating material from within the site; forming a basin for a large water body having a surface area of at least 3,000 m2, and constructing water containment walls on a first section of the basin to form a waterfront perimeter. The shape of the waterfront perimeter is mainly curved, the basin has a maximum width of 300 meters, and the bottom is covered with a non-permeable material. A sloped access area is constructed in a second section of the basin to form a beach. A barrier is constructed to control access into the area including the beach. At least one recreational facility is constructed including restaurants, bars, kiosks, stores, and/or cafes about the waterfront perimeter.

WORK SITE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND WORK SITE MANAGEMENT METHOD

A management system includes a course data generation unit that generates course data for each of a plurality of unmanned vehicles such that loading work for the plurality of unmanned vehicles by a loader is sequentially performed on a work site where a plurality of the loaders operates; and a priority determination unit that determine a passage order at an intersection on the work site of the plurality of unmanned vehicles traveling according to the course data so as to reduce a total loading loss indicating a total of loss amounts in operation of each of the plurality of the loaders.

A SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AT LEAST ONE PROPERTY OF CONCRETE IN REAL TIME
20230047417 · 2023-02-16 ·

The present invention is a system for measuring at least one property of concrete that comprises: a housing having an inner cavity, said housing being embeddable into concrete upon deployment of said system in the field; a controller having a form that fits inside said cavity, said controller being retrievable from said cavity after said system is deployed; a sensor detachably connected to the controller such that the sensor becomes embedded into concrete upon said deployment of said system; wherein said system is capable of measuring a property of concrete upon deployment. The present invention also provides a novel method of measuring the strength of concrete comprising attaching the system as described above to a supporting element of a construction structure; immersing said housing and said sensor into concrete whereby the sensor is completely embedded inside the concrete; and measuring data related to the strength of concrete using the sensor and then transmitting the data wirelessly to a remote server.

The possibility of a work machine 40 being affected by a disaster in a second designated area including an existence position of the work machine 40 is predicted based on an amount of rainfall in a first designated area. A hazard map representing a result of the prediction of the possibility of the work machine 40 being affected by a disaster in the second designated area is outputted to a remote output interface 220 in a remote operation apparatus 20 (a client) (or a management output interface 620 in a management client 60). Accordingly, a user can take measures to reduce the possibility of the work machine being affected by a disaster, for example, to communicate with the persons involved in order to move the work machine 40 from a current position.

System and method for earthquake risk mitigation in building structures

A method for seismic loss assessment including receiving by a computer system computer-readable input data regarding a seismic hazard and building conditions, generating by the computer system one or more mitigation options and for each of the mitigation options, configuring the computer system to: determine a structural response, determine damage states from the structural response, determine an outcome of each of the damage states; and, output a representation of each of the outcomes for each of the damage states. The output is used in a seismic risk mitigation plan and/or design for one or more building structures.

MONITORING DEVICE, MONITORING METHOD, AND PROGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM

A monitoring device is configured to include an image data acquiring unit, a detecting unit, and a notifying unit. The image data acquiring unit acquires image data obtained by imaging a work area, and information relating to the position in which the image data were captured. The detecting unit detects, from the image data, at least either an unsafe behavior of a worker in the work area, or an unsafe environment around the worker, as an unsafe condition. The notifying unit notifies a terminal of the unsafe condition detected by the detecting unit, and the information relating to the position in which the unsafe condition is detected.
