Systems and methods for providing interaction with a terminal
Described herein are systems and methods for providing interaction with a terminal. For example, various embodiments take the form of validators, validator components, components for interaction with validators, and software/methods for the operation of such validators and components. One embodiment provides a networked validator having functionality to display information via a LCD equipped bezel, interact with varied forms of token via a common input portal, and/or dispense printed tickets though an aperture inherently adapted to receive currency notes.

Method and an assembly for generating a magnetic field and a method of manufacturing an assembly
A credit card shaped element with a dynamic stripe which may be activated or deactivated, where the stripe is formed by a plurality of coils provided along the curve thereof, where the plurality of coils are activated in a sequential manner, where a plurality of proximity sensing coils are provided in series along the curve thereof, where the plurality of coils are formed by one coil contacted at multiple positions along its length by contact pads and where the signals fed to the coils cause an output of a reader coil to output a signals with a minimum slope or where one signal fed to one track has no peaks when the other signal is close to zero.
Bank card and response process to a transaction request
The invention relates to a bank card (100) comprising a presentation surface of a pictogram (120) coding at least one item of information for executing a transaction.
Compact vending machine
A compact vending machine for dispensing food products is disclosed. The compact vending machine includes a lightweight housing which may be mounted on a wall and a payment system that is configured to accept non-cash payments. A power source of the compact vending machine may be an external powers source, such as a power outlet, or an internal battery. An embodiment of the compact vending machine includes a controller and a communication system that are configured to transmit status information about the compact vending machine to a network.
Dispense event verification for dispensers
One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for dispense event verification. For example, a user verification component may be associated with a dispenser that is configured to dispense material, such as a sanitizer dispenser configured to dispense sanitizer. The user verification component may obtain user identification information associated with a user attempting to invoke the dispenser to perform a dispense event of material. The user identification information may be evaluated against a dispense access model (e.g., specifying levels of access to the dispenser for users, such as a first user being allowed to perform up to 10 dispense events of sanitizer every 45 minutes) to determine whether to facilitate or restrict the dispense event. In this way, dispensing of material that may be susceptible to abuse by users (e.g., prisoners, psychiatric ward patients, daycare children, etc.) may be monitored and/or restricted for the safety of such users.
EMV CHIP SPINNER CARDS AND METHODS FOR THEIR PREPATION
A credit card or debit card includes at least one rotatable disk arranged onto a top face or a bottom face of the credit card or debit card; and one or more EMV chips arranged onto the at least one rotatable disk.
Object device including an IC chip
An information processing system, method for use with the system, information providing system, and method for use with the system, an information processing apparatus, method for use with the apparatus, a doll, an object, a program storage medium, and a program for authenticating users reliably are provided. A user acquires beforehand a doll called Pochara the Good Friend incorporating an IC chip that stores a user ID for authenticating the user. When the user mounts the doll on a platform connected to a personal computer, the user ID is read from the IC chip by a reader housed in the platform and transmitted over the Internet to a Pochara service server. The server has a Pochara database holding personal information about users of the service. The transmitted user ID is checked against the personal information in the database for authentication. This invention applies advantageously to servers offering services through networks.

Communication system, communication method, and sensor unit
The present disclosure is a sensor unit that is installed in an automatic vending machine, and unlocks the automatic vending machine, based on encrypted data transmitted from a terminal apparatus. The sensor unit includes: an encryption processor that generates a public key and a private key, and encrypts an unlocking code with the public key; a hash generator that hashes, through a hash function, sensor information including at least a sensor ID and position information on a sensor, and outputs a hash value; a manager that stores, in a storage, at least the public key and the hash value in association with each other, and manages the public key and the hash value; and an unlocker that determines success or failure of encrypted data transmitted from the terminal apparatus, and unlocks the automatic vending machine when the encrypted data matches with encrypted data generated by the encryption processor.
