11416024 · 2022-08-16 ·

A supplemental computing display assembly is selectively attachable to a portable computing device having a first display. The supplemental computing display assembly includes: a main housing configured for selective attachment to the portable computing device, a first arm assembly secured to the main housing, and a second display assembly operatively coupled to the first arm assembly. The second display assembly includes a second display configured to communicate with the portable computing device and is positionable adjacent to the first display to act as an additional display for the portable computing device when the main housing is attached to the portable computing device. The second display is selectively movable relative to the main housing between a landscape orientation and a portrait orientation.

Tiling Display System

A tiling display system has multiple display panels. The display panels may be positioned by positioners that are coupled to the display panels. In an untiled operating mode, the display panels of the tiling display system are moved apart. In this mode, each display panel can display different content such as different static images of artwork. In a tiled operating mode, the display panels of the tiling system are moved together to form a single display that displays a single still or moving image. Components on the backs of the display panels and/or along the edges of the display panels may be used to facilitate panel-to-panel alignment, to help couple adjacent panels together, and to support the transfer of power and/or data signals among the panels. The components may include optical and/or electrical alignment sensors, magnets for alignment and coupling, and transmitters and receivers for transmitting and receiving signals.

Loudspeaker array

At least two closely spaced identical or similar loudspeaker assemblies in a horizontal linear array, each loudspeaker assembly comprising at least two identical or similar loudspeakers pointing in different directions so that the loudspeaker assemblies have adjustable, controllable or steerable directivity characteristics. For example, a control module may drive, adjust, control, or steer the loudspeaker assemblies so that at least one acoustic wave field is generated at least at one listening position.

Display panel with curved display portion and electronic device

An electronic device including a housing, a display panel with a flexible substrate, and a flexible printed circuit, in which the housing comprises a flat surface and a side surface comprising a curved region, the display panel comprises a first region that overlaps with the flat surface and a second region that overlaps with the side surface, the display panel comprises a convex portion that comprises a region overlapping with a flexible printed circuit, and the display panel comprises a display portion in the first region and the second region.

Building network

A tintable window is described having a tintable coating, e.g., an electrochromic device coating, for regulating light transmitted through the window. In some embodiments, the window has a transparent display in the window's viewable region. Transparent displays may be substantially transparent when not in use, or when the window is viewed in a direction facing away from the transparent display. Windows may have sensors for receiving user commands and/or for monitoring environmental conditions. Transparent displays can display graphical user interfaces to, e.g., control window functions. Windows, as described herein, offer an alternative display to conventional projectors, TVs, and monitors. Windows may also be configured to receive, transmit, or block wireless communications from passing through the window. A window control system may share computational resources between controllers (e.g., at different windows). In some cases, the computational resources of the window control system are utilized by other building systems and devices.

Tintable window system computing platform used for personal computing

Resources of a system for controlling optically switchable windows may be used for a personal computing unit. The window system resources may include (i) a display associated with an optically switchable window, (ii) one or more processors of one or more controllers on a window network connected to a plurality of optically switchable windows in a building, wherein the one or more controllers are configured to vary tint states of the plurality of optically switchable windows in the building, (iii) memory of one or more controllers on the window network connected to the plurality of optically switchable windows in the building, and/or (iv) at least a part of the window network.

System and method for a six-primary wide gamut color system

Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. A six-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.

A robotic mount is configured to move an entertainment element such as a video display, a video projector, a video projector screen or a camera. The robotic mount is moveable in multiple degrees of freedom, whereby the associated entertainment element is moveable in three-dimensional space. In one embodiment, a system of entertainment elements are made to move and operate in synchronicity with each other, such as to move a single camera via multiple robotic mounts to one or more positions or along one or more paths.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING CLUSTER INFORMATION USING 3D IMAGE

The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for providing cluster information using a three-dimensional (3D) image. The apparatus for providing the cluster information using the 3D image according to the present invention includes an input unit configured to receive display mode setting information and driving information, a memory configured to store a cluster information providing program that uses a 3D image, and a processor configured to execute the cluster information providing program, wherein the processor controls a light source disposed in a cluster according to the display mode setting information to display the driving information.

Self-luminous display device

A self-luminous display device comprises a display panel including self-luminous elements that are arranged in a row direction and in a column direction and that are scanned in the column direction from a first end toward a second end; and a flexible unit that is connected to the second end of the display panel in the column direction, that bends, and that extends along the display panel, wherein the flexible unit includes a thermistor that detects a temperature of the display panel, and wherein the flexible unit includes a detour portion that is equipped with the thermistor on a portion that extends in the row direction, that detours, and that extends toward the second end in a plan view.
