SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SIX-PRIMARY WIDE GAMUT COLOR SYSTEM
20210174729 · 2021-06-10 · ·

Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. A six-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.

Display device

A display device that includes a first area including a display area, a second area including a non-display area, and a third area connecting the first and second areas. A demultiplexing circuit unit is disposed in the non-display area of the second area and overlaps with the first area in a direction of a thickness of the display device.

CURVED DISPLAY SCREEN, CURVED DISPLAY SCREEN SUPPORTING FRAMEWORK AND CURVED DISPLAY SCREEN FORMING METHOD

A curved display screen forming method includes: modeling to obtain a virtual display layer, and segmenting the display layer to obtain a size of a virtual display module; mapping the size of the virtual display module to obtain a size of a materialized display module; reducing edges of the materialized display module, and arranging an adjustment protrusion on each edge of the materialized display module; modeling to obtain a virtual adjustment layer, wherein a virtual plate of the virtual adjustment layer corresponds to the plurality of virtual display modules, obtaining a size of the virtual plate; converting the size of the virtual plate from a curved surface to a plane to obtain a planar size of the materialized plate; and assembling the materialized display module and the materialized plate to form a curved display screen.

TRANSPARENT DISPLAY DEVICE

A robotic mount is configured to move an entertainment element such as a video display, a video projector, a video projector screen or a camera. The robotic mount is moveable in multiple degrees of freedom, whereby the associated entertainment element is moveable in three-dimensional space. In one embodiment, a system of entertainment elements are made to move and operate in synchronicity with each other, such as to move a single camera via multiple robotic mounts to one or more positions or along one or more paths.

DISPLAYS FOR TINTABLE WINDOWS

A tintable window is described having a tintable coating, e.g., an electrochromic device coating, for regulating light transmitted through the window. In some embodiments, the window has a transparent display in the window's viewable region. Transparent displays may be substantially transparent when not in use, or when the window is viewed in a direction facing away from the transparent display. Windows may have sensors for receiving user commands and/or for monitoring environmental conditions. Transparent displays can display graphical user interfaces to, e.g., control window functions. Windows, as described herein, offer an alternative display to conventional projectors, TVs, and monitors. Windows may also be configured to receive, transmit, or block wireless communications from passing through the window. A window control system may share computational resources between controllers (e.g., at different windows). In some cases, the computational resources of the window control system are utilized by other building systems and devices.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

A control device includes a signal-output device, a signal modulation device, a storage device, and a processing device. The signal-output device outputs a plurality of data signals. The signal modulation device outputs a plurality of modulation signals. The storage device is coupled to the signal-output device and stores a large amount of display data. The processing device is coupled to the signal-output device and the signal modulation device. The processing device controls the signal-output device so that the signal-output device divides the display data and transforms the display data into the data signals according to the repeat performing number and the moving position region, so as to sequentially output the data signals. The processing device controls the signal modulation device, so that the signal modulation device sequentially outputs the modulation signals according to the pulse wave counting number and the pixel unit number.
