AMOLED double-side display
An AMOLED doubled-sided display includes an OLED array layer that includes a plurality of top-emitting OLED units and a plurality of bottom-emitting OLED units arranged alternate with each other to form an array. Each of the top-emitting OLD units and the bottom-emitting OLED units has different thickness for respective anodes and cathodes, to realize the top-emitting characteristics of the top-emitting OLED units and the bottom-emitting characteristics of the bottom-emitting OLED units. As such, by designing an algorithm for a single IC to control image displaying, only a display panel and a control IC are sufficient to achieve double-sided displaying, and ensure an observer standing in front of the display panel will not see mirrored image or directional distorted image, as well as achieve low-cost and quality display result.
DISPLAYS FOR TINTABLE WINDOWS
A tintable window is described having a tintable coating, e.g., an electrochromic device coating, for regulating light transmitted through the window. In some embodiments, the window has a transparent display in the window's viewable region. Transparent displays may be substantially transparent when not in use, or when the window is viewed in a direction facing away from the transparent display. Windows may have sensors for receiving user commands and/or for monitoring environmental conditions. Transparent displays can display graphical user interfaces to, e.g., control window functions. Windows, as described herein, offer an alternative display to conventional projectors, TVs, and monitors. Windows may also be configured to receive, transmit, or block wireless communications from passing through the window. A window control system may share computational resources between controllers (e.g., at different windows). In some cases, the computational resources of the window control system are utilized by other building systems and devices.
DISPLAY PANEL, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display panel, a control method and a display apparatus are provided. The display panel includes a first display area having a notched boundary and a second display area. The first display area includes a first pixel unit group comprising X white sub-pixel or sub-pixels and Y first single color sub-pixels, and the second display area includes a second pixel unit group comprising Y second single color sub-pixels, where X is an integer of at least 1 and Y is an integer of at least 1.
System and method for a six-primary wide gamut color system
Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. A six-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
Liquid crystal display device
A liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal panel; a backlight; an illuminance sensor; and a display controller. The liquid crystal panel includes, in order toward the backlight, an antireflection layer, a first linearly polarizing plate, a first λ/4 retardation layer, a first substrate, a second λ/4 retardation layer, a liquid crystal layer, a second substrate, and a second linearly polarizing plate. The liquid crystal panel has a reflectance within a predetermined range in irradiating the liquid crystal panel with light from an antireflection layer side. The liquid crystal display device satisfies a predetermined relation in the following X and Y, where X (unit: lx) is defined as an environmental illuminance detected by the illuminance sensor, and Y (unit: nit) is defined as a luminance of the backlight, adjusted by the display controller.
SELF-LUMINOUS DISPLAY DEVICE
A self-luminous display device comprises a display panel including self-luminous elements that are arranged in a row direction and in a column direction and that are scanned in the column direction from a first end toward a second end; and a flexible unit that is connected to the second end of the display panel in the column direction, that bends, and that extends along the display panel, wherein the flexible unit includes a thermistor that detects a temperature of the display panel, and wherein the flexible unit includes a detour portion that is equipped with the thermistor on a portion that extends in the row direction, that detours, and that extends toward the second end in a plan view.
Display panel and tiled display apparatus having the same
A display panel includes a display area, in which a plurality of pixels is arranged and a plurality of peripheral areas surrounding the display area. The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate, a first external signal line disposed on the first substrate in a first peripheral area of plurality of peripheral areas and connected to an external device, and a first through-hole terminal including a conductive material filled in a hole defined through the first substrate in an area in which the first external signal line is disposed.

LIGHTBOARD SYSTEM
A lightboard system providing the multiple advantages required by presenters to audiences. Wheels support and render mobile a base. Supported by the base, a frame defines an opening and includes pairs of vertical struts and corresponding vertical tubes, the tubes sliding along the struts in a telescoping movement to raise and lower the frame height. A clear screen is fixed within the opening; the height of the screen is adjusted as the frame telescopes. The screen has a front face displaying content from presenters and an opposing rear face, and induces paths for and scattering of light to highlight the content. A dimmable light source is embedded in the frame and illuminates the screen. Attached to a telescoping mount on the frame, a video camera is directed toward the rear face, streams or records the content to create images, and automatically flips the images for viewing by audiences.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ROTATING DISPLAY
[Object] Construct a system for freely changing images to be displayed or displaying images at appropriate timing
[Solution] Control system for controlling the rotating displays. light emitting elements arranged in a line on a rotating plate.
A server stores image data in a storage device and transmits the image data to the rotating displays. The storage device stores user data. user data includes a type of each rotating display held by the user. The user data includes a time schedule for displaying the image data. The server supplies to the terminal device an operation screen for user interface. User interface allows to select the image data and a time schedule for displaying the image data, or allows the user to create displayable image data. The server has a display controller that transmit to the rotating displays the image data, that selected or created by the user and transmit the data indicating the time schedule.
