The invention relates to an ultrasonic transducer (10) of the type comprising a housing (16) provided with an electrical connector (17), at least one ultrasonic transducer (15) and an electronic card (13) for controlling the transducer and which is arranged inside the housing and consists of a printed circuit board (14) on which active components (11) and passive components (12) are mounted. According to the invention, the active components include integrated active components (11) which are completely embedded in a substrate of the printed circuit board and the passive components include integrated passive components (12) which are completely embedded in the substrate. According to another feature, the active components and the passive components include surface-mounted components (7) arranged solely on one side of the printed circuit board and the transducer is mounted on an opposite side.

A sonic device in an embodiment includes a sonic transducer unit and a sonic propagation unit. The sonic transducer unit performs at least one of transmitting and receiving a sonic wave, and has a sonic function surface to configure at least one of a wave transmitting surface and a wave receiving surface. The sonic propagation unit includes: a substrate having a pair of electrodes; an electroadhesive element expressing body including a resin crosslinked body arranged on the substrate, and particles dispersed in the resin crosslinked body; and a power supply to apply voltage to the pair of electrodes. The sonic propagation unit is provided on the sonic function surface of the sonic transducer unit, and the electroadhesive element expressing body in the sonic propagation unit comes into contact with a test object.

A marine multibeam sonar device comprises a processing element and a transmitter. The processing element generates a plurality of transmit transducer electronic signals and inverts a polarity of a first portion of the transmit transducer electronic signals. The transmitter is in communication with the processing element and includes a plurality of transmit electronic circuits and a plurality of transmit transducers. Each transmit electronic circuit receives and processes one of the transmit transducer electronic signals, wherein a first portion of the circuits re-inverts the polarity of the first portion of the transmit transducer electronic signals. The transmit transducers receive the processed transmit transducer electronic signals from the transmit electronic circuits and generate a sonar beam.
