Navigation Method and Terminal
A navigation method and a terminal, so as to reduce power consumption of an electronic device in a navigation process. A specific solution is that a terminal obtains start place information and destination information, and obtains information about a driving route determined according to the start place information and the destination information; the terminal obtains location information of the terminal in a moving process of the terminal; and the terminal turns off a screen of the terminal or adjusts screen brightness of the terminal from first screen brightness to second screen brightness when the location information of the terminal indicates that the terminal is on a first preset road section of the driving route, where the first screen brightness is greater than the second screen brightness. The present disclosure is applied in a navigation process and relates to the communications field.
VEHICULAR DRIVER MONITORING SYSTEM
A vehicular driver monitoring system includes an interior electrochromic rearview mirror assembly and a camera disposed at the interior electrochromic rearview mirror assembly behind and viewing through an electrochromic mirror reflective element into the interior cabin of the vehicle. Supplemental sources of near infrared illumination are integrated into the mirror assembly that, when powered to emit near infrared light, illuminate at least a front seating area within the interior cabin of the vehicle. Presence of the camera is not readily apparent to an occupant sitting in the interior cabin of the vehicle. The interior electrochromic rearview mirror assembly includes a processor that processes image data captured by the camera. The camera at least views a driver-side front seating area of the vehicle and, via processing at the processor of image data captured by the camera, the driver seated at the driver-side front seating area is monitored.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING POINT OF INTEREST INFORMATION
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method of providing information associated with a point of interest (POI), comprising: communicating location information indicative of a determined geographic location of a portable device to a server computer; receiving at least one POI-map from the server computer based on the location information, wherein each POI-map is associated with at least one POI and comprises segments representative of navigable elements of a navigable network; determining a segment of a received POI-map corresponding to the determined geographic location of the portable device; and outputting a notification associated with a POI of the received POI-map based on the navigable segment.
Social messaging user interface
Hubs for social interaction via electronic devices are described. In one aspect, a data processing device includes a display screen displaying a social interaction hub, the social interaction hub including a collection of records. Each record includes a counterparty identifier identifying a counterparty of a past social interaction event, a mode indicium identifying a mode by which the past social interaction event with the counterparty occurred, and a collection of mode indicia each identifying a mode by which a future, outgoing social interaction event with the counterparty can occur. The counterparty identifier, the mode indicium, and the collection of mode indicia are associated with one another in the records of the social interaction hub.
Driving support apparatus, driving support system, and driving support method
A driving support apparatus includes a communication device configured to be able to communicate with a vehicle-mounted device installed in a vehicle that is under automatic driving control and a mobile terminal of a user of the vehicle; and a processor configured to send, upon receiving a return request for moving the vehicle to an exit location at which the user has exited the vehicle, from the mobile terminal through the communication device, a return command for moving the vehicle to the exit location to the vehicle-mounted device through the communication device, when a return time required to move the vehicle to the exit location is less than an available return time.
Touch panel display device comprising an insulator portion that limits intrusion of dust into a gap
A display device includes a display, which has a display surface, and a touch panel, which is spaced from and is opposed to the display surface. An opening of a panel frame portion-relative to the touch panel is formed to be larger than an opening of a front case relative to the display unit. An insulator portion extends toward a center of the opening of the front case beyond an inner peripheral part of the front case to mask the front case from eyesight of a user.
PATH DETECTION SYSTEM BASED ON SOLAR BLIND ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT SIGNALS
A path detection system based on SBUV light signals is provided, including a SBUV light signal emitter, a SBUV detectors and a signal processing module, wherein the SBUV light signal emitter is arranged on a road to serve as a path mark line; the SBUV detector is configured to detect the path mark line and transmit the detected signals from the SBUV light signal emitter to the signal processing module; and the signal processing module acquires a traveling path in real time by using a path line extraction algorithm, and eventually outputs path information.
DRIVE ASSISTANCE DEVICE AND DRIVE ASSISTANCE METHOD
A drive assistance device 10 includes a road information acquisition unit 12, an information display unit 5, a drive assistance unit 15, and a display control unit 14 configured to report road information in front of a vehicle 1 acquired by the road information acquisition unit 12, by displaying a road image portion R indicating a shape of a road and left and right outer edges EL, ER of the road image portion R in different colors on the information display unit 5, and to display a vehicle state display part C indicating an execution state of drive assistance by the drive assistance unit 15.
CURVATURE VALUE DETECTION AND EVALUATION
Systems and methods for the detection and analysis of curvature data are described. A method includes: receiving position data of a vehicle turning maneuver along a portion of a roadway, where the position data includes measured position data collected by sensors of a vehicle while traversing the vehicle turning maneuver; associating the received position data with map data of the portion of the roadway; generating a spline based on the position data, the spline being a smooth curve representing the vehicle turning maneuver from a first road segment to a second road segment; identifying a segment of the spline containing a turning point of the vehicle turning maneuver, the turning point representing a change of a vehicle path from along the first road segment to along the second road segment; and determining a maximum curvature value for the identified segment of the spline.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus performs first correction for correcting, in a case where a loop of a movement path of a sensor is detected, a position and orientation associated with a first measurement point used for estimation of a position and orientation to a position and orientation based on a second measurement point that is present near the sensor when the loop is detected.
