Stress measurement device, stress measurement system, and stress measurement method
A stress measurement device includes a first obtaining unit obtaining thermal data including information indicating a temperature of a measuring region, a second obtaining unit obtaining data related to stress occurring in one part of the measuring region, and a controller finding stress occurring in the measuring region from the thermal data and the data related to the stress. The controller finds, first waveform data respectively on the one part and a part other than the one part based on a change with time of the thermal data, and second waveform data based on a change with time of the data related to the stress. The controller finds, disturbance data through a deduction of the second waveform data from the first waveform data on the one part, and stress data indicating stress occurring in the part through a deduction the disturbance data from the first waveform data on the part.
Wind tunnel for a motor vehicle with optical vehicle configuration determination and method for operating a wind tunnel with optical vehicle configuration determination

The wind tunnel also includes an optical sensing device for sensing an outer contour of the motor vehicle recorded by the recording device, an evaluating unit and a linking unit. The evaluating unit determines a vehicle configuration from the outer contour of the motor vehicle sensed by the optical sensing device. The linking unit links the vehicle configuration of the motor vehicle determined by the evaluating unit with the test results determined by the testing device.
Structured illumination optical inspection platform for transparent materials
A method of imaging surface features with a large (non-microscopic) field-of-view includes projecting a structured illumination pattern onto the transparent target. The surface features modify the structured illumination pattern, and an image of the modified structured illumination pattern is imaged at each of multiple different introduced phase shifts via an imaging device. The method further provides for extracting, from each of the captured phase-shifted images, image components that correspond to frequencies exceeding a cutoff frequency of the imaging device; and using the extracted image components to construct a corrected image of the surface features of the transparent target. The corrected image has a resolution that is greater than a spatially incoherent point-to-point optical resolution of the imaging device.
