Inflatable bladder
An inflatable bladder includes, but is not limited to, a bladder body having a wall, a longitudinal dimension, and a lateral dimension. The wall defines an interior volume enclosing a fluid. The wall further defines an opening in fluid communication with the interior volume. The bladder body is fluid tight when the opening is closed. The wall is configured to facilitate an expansion of the longitudinal dimension during an ingress of the fluid into the interior volume and a contraction of the longitudinal dimension during an egress of the fluid from the interior volume. The wall is further configured to maintain a constant lateral dimension during the ingress of the fluid into the interior volume and a constant lateral dimension during the egress of the fluid from the interior volume.
ADJUSTMENT DEVICE FOR A SEAT
An adjustment device for a seat, which is designed as an extension of a seat plane of the seat. The adjustment device has a length-adjustable adjustment mechanism and at least one elastic tension element. The adjustment mechanism has a central winding roller, multiple sliding rollers, at least one front end part, and at least one rear end part. Each end part is connected to at least one sliding roller. A first end of the at least one tension element is fastened to the central winding roller. The at least one tension element, starting from the central winding roller, touches the sliding rollers. A second end of the at least one tension element is fastened to a fastening element of a supporting body of the seat plane.
Folding chair with multiple modes
A folding chair with multiple modes may include a first frame and a second frame rotatably connected by a joint assembly, a first support arranged in the first frame and a second support arranged in the second frame and six legs. The six legs may include a first pair of legs rotatably attached to the second frame, a second pair of legs rotatably attached to the first frame (e.g., via another joint assembly), and a third pair of legs rotatably attached to the second frame. The folding chair may further include a pair of armrests rotatably attached to the joint assembly. The multiple modes of the folding chair may include a first mode wherein the folding chair is configured as a dining chair, a second mode wherein the folding chair is configured as a lounging chair and a third mode wherein the folding chair is configured for compact storage.
SEAT STRUCTURE WITH ADJUSTABLE SENSE OF SITTING
A seat structure with an adjustable sense of sitting comprises a cover and a base plate, wherein an adjusting cavity is defined by the base plate and the cover; at least two soft inner layers different in hardness and breathability are arranged in the adjusting cavity, and the soft inner layers are at least two of a sponge cushion, a 3D mesh cushion and an air fiber cushion; and a cover body is provided with a zipper structure, which can be slidably unzipped to form an opening for adjusting the soft inner layers. The soft inner layers can be taken out via the opening, and users can place multiple soft inner layers in the adjusting cavity in different sequences as required to adjust the hardness and breathability of the seat structure to obtain suitable hardness and breathability so as to improve sitting comfort.
ERGONOMIC SEAT
A comfortable ergonomic seat (100) that may be used for chairs, in particular, office chairs, as well as other seating applications including stools, bicycles, fitness equipment, and medical equipment where a user is in a seated position. The ergonomic seat including multi-part open seat frame (10) has at least a first seat sub-frame (11) and a second seat sub-frame (12). The first seat sub-frame (11) and the second seat sub-frame (12) are pivotally connected such that each of the first seat sub-frame (11) and the second seat sub-frame (12) is independently pivotable with respect to each other. This configuration provides a changeable/reconfigurable shape to the multi-part open seat frame (10). A flexible seat cover (20) attached to the multi-part open seat frame (10); the flexible seat cover (20) is deformable according to the changeable shape of the multi-part open seat frame (10) as well as a seated user's personal anatomy.
Chair with shape memory material-based movement synchronized with visual content
A chair can be configured for synchronized movement with visual content, such as a video game or movie, presented on a display. The chair can include a seat portion. A plurality of actuators can be operatively positioned to cause a movement of the seat portion. The actuators can include one or more shape memory material members. Each of the actuators being configured such that, when an activation input is provided to the one or more shape memory material members, the one or more shape memory material members change from a first configuration to a second configuration and cause the actuator to morph into an activated configuration. One or more processors operatively connected to selectively activate one or more of the actuators by causing the activation input to be provided to the one or more shape memory material members of at least one of the actuators.
THERAPEUTIC SEAT CUSHION EQUIPPED FOR PRESSURE MONITORING AND INFLATION SYSTEM FOR SAME
A seat cushion includes a plurality of inflatable cells, a pumping mechanism, and a manifold or valve system fluidly between the pumping mechanism and the inflatable cells. The manifold or the valve system, which may include a clutch and a motor, connect the pumping mechanism with the inflatable cells such that a plurality of zones are created. A valve assembly can include a plurality of valves and is adjustable among at least three valve configurations to vary fluid connections to the inflatable cells to produce rearwardly advancing waves. The pumping action produced by the inflation and deflation of the inflatable cells assists in pumping blood in a user's legs back toward the heart.

TRIM TENSION MANAGEMENT MECHANISM
An assembly includes a seat structure, trim material associated with the seat structure, and a length adjuster associated with the trim material. The length adjuster is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. A trim attachment wire has a first portion coupled to the seat structure to define a pivot axis and a second portion coupled to an edge of the trim material. The edge of the trim material moves with the second portion about the pivot axis as the length adjuster moves between the retracted position and the extended position.
SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY (SMA) ACTUATORS FOR LUMBAR SUPPORT AND MASSAGE
A lumbar support structure includes a first lumbar support and a second lumbar support. At least one of the first and second lumbar supports includes at least one actuator having one or more shape memory material members. The at least one actuator is structured and operatively connected to the other one of the first and second lumbar supports so that an activation input provided to the one or more shape memory material members causes the one or more shape memory material members to contract, thereby causing a distance between a portion of the actuator and the other one of the first and second lumbar supports to increase. A seat incorporating an arrangement of the lumbar support structure and a lumbar support system incorporating an arrangement of the lumbar support structure are also described.
