Provided is a welding information providing apparatus including a main body provided to be worn by a user, a display unit arranged on the main body and including a display for displaying a welding image to the user, at least one camera unit attached to an outer side of the main body and obtaining welding image frames with respect to a welding operation, and a processor configured to control the display to display the welding image generated based on the welding image frames, wherein the camera unit includes a darkening filter blocking welding light generated due to the welding operation.

Mode Equalization Filter
A mode equalization filter for reducing a difference in optical power between modes of signal light propagating inside FMFs of an MDM optical transmission scheme includes an FMF on the input side, a collimating lens, an ND filter, a condensing lens, and an FMF on the output side. The ND filter includes partial ND filters combined each other and having main surfaces placed in parallel to each other, a ring portion having a low transmittance is provided in a part of the partial ND filter, and a ring portion having a low transmittance is also provided in a part of the partial ND filter. When the ring portions have different aspects, and the partial ND filters are adjusted and set to be slidable in directions of axes, respectively, the partial ND filters have a property that the transmittance of each mode of the signal light differs and can obtain a function of a variable mode equalization filter.
Optical system for displaying magnified virtual image
An optical system for displaying a magnified virtual image of an image emitted by a display to a viewer. The optical system includes first and second lenses facing each other and spaced apart by an air gap to define an optical cavity therebetween. The optical cavity includes a reflective polarizer disposed on a major surface of the first lens, and an optical stack disposed on a major surface of the second lens. The optical stack includes an absorbing polarizer, a first retarder layer, a partial reflector, and a second retarder layer disposed between the absorbing polarizer and the partial reflector. The first and/or second lenses is/are birefringent lens provided outside the optical cavity to control polarization.

The present disclosure relates to a filter unit, a filter selection method, and an imaging device that allow continuously changing a transmittance of an ND filter and switching between filters to be performed more easily. A disk provided with a plurality of filters including an ND filter having a continuously variable transmittance is rotated to cause a filter corresponding to a rotational orientation of the disk among the plurality of filters provided on the disk to be arranged on an optical axis of incident light toward an image sensor. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a filter unit, an imaging device, electronic equipment, a filter selection method, a program, or the like.

A first absorbing compound combined with the polymer substrate, the first absorbing compound absorbing blue light in a blue notch band having a full-width half-maximum of not greater than about 50 nm. A second absorbing compound combined with the polymer substrate, the second absorbing compound absorbing green light in a green notch, wherein the first absorbing compound comprises an absorption that has a maximum absorbance peak between about 420 nm and about 445 nm, and wherein the second absorbing compound has a maximum absorbance peak between about 540 nm and 610 nm.

A light irradiation device includes a Gaussian beam output unit for outputting light having a light intensity distribution that conforms to a Gaussian distribution, a spatial light modulator for receiving the light and modulating the light by presenting a CGH, an optical system for converging the modulated light, and an amplitude mask arranged on at least one of an optical axis between the Gaussian beam output unit and the spatial light modulator and an optical axis between the spatial light modulator and the optical system. The amplitude mask has a circular-shaped first region centered on the optical axis and an annular-shaped second region that surrounds the first region. Transmittance in the second region continuously decreases as a distance from the optical axis increases.
