IMAGE SENSOR UNIT
An image sensor unit includes: a visible light cut filter that is arranged between a first light source and a first light guide and blocks light including visible light having wavelengths longer than those of ultraviolet light; a lens body that condenses light generated on a reading target by light radiated from the first light guide and light radiated from a second light guide; a line sensor that receives the light condensed by the lens body; and an ultraviolet light cut filter arranged between the lens body and the line sensor and blocks ultraviolet light.
Target dot sight having target illumination sensor
A target dot sight includes a target illumination sensor that senses the amount of illumination at a target, rather than merely sensing the ambient sight of the entire operating environment. Then, based on the sensed target illumination, the target dot sight may automatically compensate for the brightness of the target.
Fiber optic tinsel garland having a spiral fiber optic and a fiber optic bundle at an end thereof
An illumination device, including a fiber optic spiral wrapped around an electrical wire, a plug connected to the electrical wire on one end, and a fiber optic bundle connected to the fiber optic spiral and the electrical wire on an other end opposite the one end. The fiber optic bundle includes a bundle chamber attached to the electrical wire and the fiber optic spiral on a first end, and an illumination member at the wide end and attached to the electrical wire; and fiber optic strands extending from a second end opposite the first end.
VEHICLE WIRING SYSTEM, OPTICAL COUPLER, AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING VEHICLE WIRING SYSTEM
A vehicle wiring system includes a plurality of functional units to be mounted in a vehicle, an optical transmission line that is wired between the functional units and configured to transmit an optical signal of the functional units, an electric wire harness that is provided, in a partial section of the optical transmission line, together with the optical transmission line in a state of being integrated with the optical transmission line, and an optical coupler that is disposed in a portion of the optical transmission line other than the section and constitutes a part of the optical transmission line.
Video projector system
Some embodiments provide for a modular video projector system having a light engine module and an optical engine module. The light engine module can provide narrow-band laser light to the optical engine module which modulates the laser light according to video signals received from a video processing engine. Some embodiments provide for an optical engine module having a sub-pixel generator configured to display video or images at a resolution of at least four times greater than a resolution of modulating elements within the optical engine module. Systems and methods for reducing speckle are presented in conjunction with the modular video projector system.
CONTAINER APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A container sleeve apparatus includes an arcuate or cylindrical body that can be positioned on a cylindrical or conical container, such as a tumbler, cup, can or bottle. A transparent or translucent insert section that can be releasably attached to the sleeve body. The sleeve body can be made of a non-slip, elastic material, such as neoprene rubber. The insert section can be made of plastic and can include a logo printed or engraved thereon. The apparatus can include a light emitting device that illuminates the transparent/translucent insert section.
Illuminating structures with fiber optic lighting
A method of fitting a structural member having a passage with fiber optical lighting, the method comprising: a) drilling a first hole through the structural member across the passage and through opposite first and second surfaces of the structural member; (b) enlarging the first hole at the second surface of the structural member forming a second hole; (c) inserting a cable puller having a cable hooking end through the passage to a point such that the cable hooking end is disposed inwardly from the first hole and second hole; (d) inserting a first end of a fiber optic cable first through the second hold and then through the corresponding first hole; (e) securing the first end of the fiber optic cable against being pulled back through the first hole; (f) withdrawing the cable feeder from the passage, hooking the fiber optic cable by the cable hooking end; (g) pulling a second end of the fiber optic cable from the passage; (h) injecting curable material into the passage through the second hole to encapsulate at least a length of the fiber optic cable within the curable material; and (i) cutting the first end of the fiber optic cable flush with the first surface.
Irradiation module having light guides
An irradiation module mechanically detachably attached to a light source module includes a first light source light entrance end which allows entry of first light source light from a first light source module, a first light guide member to guide the first light source light entered the first light source light entrance end, a second light source light entrance end which allows entry of second light source light from a second light source module, and a second light guide member to guide the second light source light entered the second light source light entrance end. The first light guide member and the second light guide member have optical specifications which correspond to optical characteristics of the light source light to be guided and in which the optical characteristics are different from each other.
WOVEN FABRIC, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DESIGN WOVEN FABRIC AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING INTERIOR MATERIAL
A woven fabric includes a first constituent yarn having an optical fiber yarn and a non-light guiding yarn and a second constituent yarn having a non-light guiding yarn. The woven fabric has a first region in which the first and second constituent yarns are woven in one layer and a second region which is positioned adjacent to the first region and in which the first and second constituent yarns and are woven in two or more separable layers. The woven fabric has an optical fiber layer and a back protecting layer as the separable layers. The optical fiber layer is a layer formed of the optical fiber yarns. The back protecting layer is a layer in which the non-light guiding yarn of the first constituent yarn and the non-light guiding yarn of the second constituent yarn are woven. Further, the woven fabric can further comprise a front protecting layer.
OPTICAL MODULE HAVING MULTIPLE LASER DIODE DEVICES AND A SUPPORT MEMBER
A method and device for emitting electromagnetic radiation at high power using nonpolar or semipolar gallium containing substrates such as GaN, AlN, InN, InGaN, AlGaN, and AlInGaN, is provided. In various embodiments, the laser device includes plural laser emitters emitting green or blue laser light, integrated a substrate.
