LIGHTING DEVICE, LIGHTING SYSTEM, AND MOTOR VEHICLE WITH LIGHTING SYSTEM
20230173978 · 2023-06-08 · ·

The described examples relate to a lighting device for a motor vehicle with multiple optical fibers and multiple further fibers, which are woven to a two-dimensional fiber fabric. The multiple further fibers may be formed as multiple further optical fibers or as multiple non-optical fibers. The fiber fabric may be formed corresponding to a developed surface of multiple sides of a preset three-dimensional body, which may be generated by cutting and by selectively separating the multiple optical fibers and the multiple further fibers that are woven with each other, at a distal cut end of the fiber fabric.

Optical fiber-based sensor for determining the concentration of fluoride in water

A fluoride sensor includes an aluminum layer situated on a distal end face of an optical fiber. A light source directs light into the optical fiber at a proximal end and reflected light from the aluminum layer at the distal end face is directed by the fiber to a detector. A rate of change of a detector signal is processed to produce an estimate of a concentration of fluoride.

The present disclosure relates to a cable having a light-emitting element. An exemplary embodiment of the cable has, in addition to the light-emitting element, a cable core comprising at least one cable construction element. The cable also has a reflective layer, which at least partially surrounds the cable core along a tangential direction with respect to a cable axis of the cable and which is designed to reflect light that is emitted by the light-emitting element. The cable also has a sheath, which is designed to conduct the light emitted by the light-emitting element around the cable core substantially in the tangential direction and to couple said light out substantially in the radial direction with respect to the cable axis. The reflectivity of the reflective layer varies in the tangential direction.

HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY APPARATUS

A head-mounted display apparatus projected an image onto a projection target is provided. The head-mounted display apparatus includes an image output module, an image control module, an optical fiber, and an optical adjusting device. The image output module projects the image onto the projection target. The image control module outputs a lighting beam and an electrical signal to the image output module, so as to control the image output module to project the image onto the projection target by using the electrical signal. The optical fiber is coupled to the image output module and the image control module. The lighting beam is transmitted from the image control module to the image output module via the optical fiber. The optical adjusting device is disposed at the output terminal of the optical fiber and transmits the lighting beam to the image output module.

The present invention regards a sole for shoes including an upper surface, in use facing the user, a lower surface, in use facing the ground or the resting surface, and a thickness, wherein the thickness corresponds to a distance between the upper surface and the lower surface, wherein the sole includes at least one signaling means. Such at least one signaling means includes at least one vibrating motor, capable of vibrating inside such sole and/or at least one light device and the sole includes means for receiving-processing a control signal (sc) intended, in use, to receive and process such control signal (sc) and to emit in reply an activation-deactivation signal (S) towards such at least one signaling means.

OPTICAL TUBE BENDER
20220048262 · 2022-02-17 ·

A light guide bender (also referred to as an optical tube bender) is provided including an integrated bending mechanism that allows the surgical tube to be bent to the appropriate length (e.g., matching the retractor height). By bending the tube at an angle, potential obstruction caused by the optical fiber is reduced and the need to create various lengths of optical tubing is also eliminated. In one embodiment, the surgical tube may also include markings designating length of the surgical tube. For example, if 200 mm of surgical tubing is needed, then the marking for 200 mm can be located on the surgical tubing and the tubing can be bent at this location.

Stacked Pipe Light Emitting Diode Lighting Fixture
20170248279 · 2017-08-31 ·

A stacked pipe light emitting diode lighting fixture with uniform and uninterrupted emitted light is disclosed. The stacked pipe light emitting diode lighting fixture comprises a plurality of transparent light pipes disposed in a housing. A light emitting diode module is connected to a light receiving end of each light pipe. The light pipes and connected light emitting diode modules are positioned so that light reflecting ends of the light pipes overlap the light emitting diode modules. As a result, the emitted light is uniform in intensity and uninterrupted for one end of the stacked pipe light emitting diode lighting fixture to the other end of the stacked pipe light emitting diode lighting fixture.

Light source apparatus and endoscope system

A fluorescent type of green light source of a semiconductor in a light source apparatus for an endoscope includes a blue excitation light source device and green emitting phosphor. The blue excitation light source device emits blue excitation light. The green emitting phosphor is excited by the blue excitation light, and emits green fluorescence. A dichroic filter in a dichroic mirror cuts off the blue excitation light from an emission spectrum of mixed light of the blue excitation light and green fluorescence from the fluorescent type of green light source. Thus, illumination light with the emission spectrum of a target can be stably supplied without influence of the blue excitation light to a light amount of blue light from a blue light source of a semiconductor.
