Bed with exercise function
A bed with an exercise function includes: an upper exercise arm which is embedded in an insertion groove formed in a front surface or peripheral part of the head part, has a horizontal bar and leg parts extending downward from both ends of the horizontal bar, and is rotatable to protrude forward by a rotary support part provided at a lower end of the leg part; and a rotation stopping part which is coupled to the upper exercise arm and stops rotation of the upper exercise arm in a state in which the upper exercise arm protrudes forward at a predetermined angle.
ADJUSTABLE BED SYSTEM HAVING FANS
An adjustable bed system includes a frame structure, a back lifting assembly and a leg lifting assembly pivotally connected to the frame structure, platforms having a plurality of openings, disposed on the frame structure and operably coupled with the back and leg lifting assemblies, a mattress having a plurality of through holes and disposed on the platforms so that the plurality of through holes is aligned with the plurality of openings, respectively, and a plurality of fans installed in the plurality of openings of the platforms such that each fan is in communication with a respective through hole of the mattress for operably moving air via said through hole into the mattress body and outputting the air from the top surface of the mattress. Positions of upper and lower portions of the mattress are adjustable based on operations of the back and assemblies.
Dynamic furniture items with interchangeable panels
This application describes a unique design and a method for designing furniture items that incorporate removable panels to either decorate or alter the use of a standard furniture item. The proposed furniture items take the form of standard furniture items but have recessed areas or cavities incorporated into different portions of the structure. These cavities correspond to and fit different panels which display artwork or different utility elements. These panels can be interchanged between different furniture items of the similar design.
Assemblable Mattress Support Whose Side Panels, Headboard and Footboard Fit Inside A Single Packing Box
An assemblable mattress support can be shipped with all of its components compactly packed into the headboard. The mattress support includes a foldable longitudinal bar, a lateral bar, side panels, wooden slats, block legs and a footboard, all of which fit inside a compartment in the headboard. In an assembled state of the mattress support, a first connector at one end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a third connector on the outside of the headboard. A second connector at the other end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a fourth connector on the footboard. The middle of the lateral bar connects to the middle of the longitudinal bar. The block legs are attached to the bottom sides of the headboard and footboard. The slats are attached to one another by fabric ribbons and are placed in parallel over the longitudinal bar and support ledges on the side panels.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT SURROUNDING A BED FOR HEALTHY SLEEP
The present invention is an assembly, system, and methods for enveloping a sleeper in a lower/higher temperature area of filtered and cooled/warmed air to promote a healthy sleeping environment. The invention maintains the environment around the sleeper between a lower temperature and an upper temperature. The invention consists of a hollow platform supporting a mattress, a cooling compressor/heat exchanger and ducting within the platform to mix the incoming and processed air before the air is blown onto the sleeping area through a plurality of louvers in a hollow headboard higher and wider than the sleeping platform. The headboard directs the air over the sleeper such that the sleeper is shielded from higher/lower temperature air in the room containing the invention.
ACTUATOR AND BACKREST DEVICE, AND PIECE OF SEATING FURNITURE HAVING ONE SUCH
An actuator device is disclosed that permits a first element to be moved linearly, in particular quasi-vertically, relative to a second element. The actuator device may be provided, in particular, for a vertical movement of a backrest, for example in a piece of seating furniture such as an office chair. The actuator device includes a displacement profile within a guide housing and a locking element. The displacement profile includes a latching row and the locking element is configured for engagement with the latching row. In a latching position, the locking element is resiliently rotated into the latching row of the displacement profile, and rotates back and forth when the displacement profile moves in a first direction with respect to the guide housing. In a release position, the locking element is rotated into a retaining position until it is disengaged from the latching row of the displacement profile.
HEADBOARD ASSEMBLY FOR MODULAR BED FRAME
A headboard assembly for a modular bed frame assembly includes a support bracket and a headboard. The support bracket includes an upper attachment structure and a lower attachment structure. The headboard is removably coupled to the support bracket at the upper attachment structure. The support bracket is configured to be removably coupled between two laterally adjacent planar members of the modular bed frame assembly by the lower attachment structure.
Furniture article with interchangeable panel set
Furniture, such as a bed, dresser, cabinetry has a display system affixing a stack of interchangeable decorative panels to the furniture. The display system has an overlaying panelar frame that captures the stack of panels and has at least one elongated fastener securing the overlaying panelar frame on to a surface of the furniture item. The stack of interchangeable panels are each visually different such as having different colors and/or patterns and can be sandwiched between the overlaying panelar frame and the mounting surface in a pocket to immovably maintain the interchangeable panels against the furniture component. The stack of interchangeable panels can be rearranged such that a different panel is placed on top of the stack or the outermost position and thereby be visible through the opening in the overlaying panelar frame.
Headboard Mounting Assembly and System
A headboard mounting assembly and system includes a plate with four quadrants including a first quadrant, a second quadrant, a third quadrant and a fourth quadrant. The first quadrant is pivotally coupled to the second and fourth quadrants, the second quadrant is pivotally coupled to the third quadrant, and the third and fourth quadrants are separated from each other. The plate is positionable in a stored condition wherein the four quadrants are co-planar with each other. The plate is positionable in a deployed condition wherein each quadrant of the four quadrants is orientated perpendicular to an adjacent one of the quadrants and the third and fourth quadrants overlap to define a bottom wall. The bottom wall is secured to a bed frame with a plurality of frame fasteners and the second quadrant is secured to a headboard with a plurality of headboard fasteners.
CONNECTING UNIT FOR CONNECTING BACKREST WITH BED FRAME AND BED HAVING SAME
A bed includes a bed frame and a backrest coupled with the bed frame by a plurality of connecting units, each including first and second plate. The first plate is fixedly disposed at a first side of the bed frame and includes one or more slots elongated in the lateral direction of the bed frame. The second plate includes one or more rows of holes, and is fixedly coupled with the first plate by at least one fastener through at least one slot of the first plate and at least one hole of the second plate. Each connecting unit also includes one or more locking nuts fixedly disposed at the second plate, and one or more locking bolts. The one or more locking bolts pass through one or more holes or slots formed in the backrest and fixedly coupled with the one or more locking nuts of the second plate.
