Electrostatic latent image developing toner and image forming apparatus
An electrostatic latent image developing toner includes toner particles. Each of the toner particles includes a toner mother particle and an external additive. The toner mother particle contains a binder resin. The external additive includes external additive particles adhering to a surface of the toner mother particle. Each of the external additive particles includes a titanium oxide particle and resin particles adhering to a surface of the titanium oxide particle.
TONER BLENDS COMPRISING OF A CLEAR TONER AND A PIGMENTED TONER
Provided is a toner blend composition comprising a first pigmented toner and a second toner that is devoid of any pigment additive, i.e., a non-pigmented or clear toner. The non-pigmented or clear toner is about 1% to about 15% by weight of the toner blend composition. The resulting inventive toner blend composition surprisingly exhibits similar print density on a page compared to a fully pigmented toner. Moreover, this toner blend composition exhibits improvement in toner usage per page, thus lowering toner cost compared to a fully pigmented toner. The non-pigmented or clear toner may be used in combination with either a monochrome or conventional toner using a carbon black pigment, or a chemically processed toners (CPT) toners using a black pigment, magenta pigment, yellow pigment or a cyan pigment.

Method of manufacturing flexographic printing plate
An aqueous developer for a flexographic printing plate capable of maintaining good printing reproducibility and suppressing the adhesion and aggregation of the dispersion in the developer during repeated use, and a method of manufacturing a flexographic printing plate using the same, are provided. The aqueous developer for a flexographic printing plate is an aqueous developer for a flexographic printing plate containing a surfactant having a molecular weight of 1000 or more, and water.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRESS-BONDED SHEET AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
Press-bonded sheets such as a crimped post card are manufactured by forming a composite layer of an adhesive layer laminated on a toner image formed on a base sheet, then opposing the composite layer and another composite layer formed on the same sheet or a different sheet, and press-bonding the opposed composite layers under heat. The difference in solubility parameter (SP value) between the printing toner and the powder adhesive is 1.0 (cal/cm.sup.3).sup.1/2 or more.
TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER
In a two-component developer, external additive particles of toner particles include resin particles containing a thermoplastic resin. Coat layers of carrier particles contain a coating resin and barium titanate particles. The coating resin includes a silicone resin. The barium titanate particles have a number average primary particle diameter of 100-500 nm. The barium titanate particles have a content of 4-45 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the coating resin. The rate of the mass of the coat layers to the mass of the carrier cores is 0.10-4.90% by mass. The average of coverage rates of the carrier cores is at least 80.0% and less than 100.0%.
TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER
In a two-component developer, external additive particles of toner particles include resin particles containing a thermoplastic resin. Coat layers of carrier particles contain a coating resin and barium titanate particles. The coating resin includes a silicone resin. The barium titanate particles have a number average primary particle diameter of 100-500 nm. The barium titanate particles have a content of 4-45 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the coating resin. The rate of the mass of the coat layers to the mass of the carrier cores is 0.10-4.90% by mass. The average of coverage rates of the carrier cores is at least 80.0% and less than 100.0%.

An image forming apparatus which comprises a first image forming unit for forming a toner image for printing by means of a toner for printing and an adhesive image forming unit for forming an image of a powder adhesive by means of a powder adhesive, and which is characterized in that: the toner for printing contains a wax; the powder adhesive contains a wax; and the content of the wax in the powder adhesive is higher than the content of the wax in the toner for printing.
