The apparatus comprises: a processor configured to: control an active reflected wave detector to measure wave reflections from the environment to accrue measured wave reflection data; process the measured wave reflection data to detect an object in said environment; in response to detection of said object, determine whether a first predetermined condition in respect of the object is met; and if the first predetermined condition is met, control an output device to output a deterrent.

A boundary protection method and system of a radiation detection robot. The boundary protection method comprises: a first laser radar and a second laser radar are arranged diagonally, a first marking rod and a second marking rod are arranged diagonally; a boundary of an interlocking zone is defined by the first laser radar, the second laser radar, the first marking rod and the second marking rod; the object to be detected is placed in the interlocking zone; the radiation detection robot uses rays to detect the object to be detected in the interlocking zone; an early warning zone is provided outside the interlocking zone; wherein when it is detected that a person or object has intruded into the interlocking zone, the radiation detection robot stops emitting rays; and when it is detected that a person or object has intruded into the early warning zone, a warning is issued directly.

Selective intrusion detection systems

A selective intrusion detection system includes a Doppler transceiver configured and adapted to receive Doppler return signals indicative of moving targets present in a surveillance space. A processor is operatively connected to the Doppler transceiver to convert Doppler return signals into spectrograms and to determine whether any given spectrogram is indicative of presence of a human or another moving target, like a domestic pet. An alarm is operatively connected to the processor, wherein the processor and alarm are configured to provide an alert in the event the processor determines any given spectrogram is indicative of a human, and to forego providing an alert in the event the processor determines any given spectrogram is indicative of another moving target only.

Selective intrusion detection systems

A selective intrusion detection system includes a Doppler transceiver configured and adapted to receive Doppler return signals indicative of moving targets present in a surveillance space. A processor is operatively connected to the Doppler transceiver to convert Doppler return signals into spectrograms and to determine whether any given spectrogram is indicative of presence of a human or another moving target, like a domestic pet. Law enforcement and user's contacts are automatically dialed as part of the emergency protocol. Such footage also gets recorded for use by the law enforcement agency. This is the first apparatus that does automatic real time monitoring and performs preventative actions.

The reality capture device can be carried and moved by a mobile carrier, particularly a person, robot or vehicle, and can be moved during a measuring process for generating a digital representation of an environment. The mobile reality capture device includes a localization unit for providing a simultaneous localization and mapping functionality, a laser scanner, and a camera unit. The mobile reality capture device is configured to be carried by a user through the room. The room is surveyed during the movement of the mobile reality capture device. The data from the laser scanner and the camera unit are referenced to each other by means of the localization unit.

One or more receiving nodes may receive the one or more RF signals that may include one or more channel state data. The operating state may be determined based on one or more features extracted from the one or more channel state data. Another system and method is disclosed where a range compensation value may be determined by transmitting a radio-frequency (RF) signal from at least one transmitting node. The one or more receiving nodes may receive the RF signal and a channel state data may be estimated using the signal. The range compensation value may be determined using the channel state data and a position value indicating a location of the at least one transmitting node.
