Heat shrink packaging system and method
A packaging system including a heat shrinkable flexible wall container and a heat shrinkable label is described. The label can be applied to the container prior to heat shrinking. Upon subjecting the labeled container containing the items or goods of interest to a heat shrink operation, the label and flexible wall container both undergo shrinking. The shrinkage characteristics of the flexible wall container and the label are matched to one another. Also described are various methods of packaging using the noted systems.
Roll of pre-printed stamp label stock and method of manufacturing a roll of pre-printed stamp label stock
A roll of pre-printed stamp label stock includes a core, and a web of material wound on the core. The web includes (i) a release liner, (ii) a longitudinally-extending series of pre-printed stamp label panels disposed on the release liner and separated apart from each other by transversely-extending gaps between each pair of panels, and (iii) a first series of sense marks disposed on the back of the release liner opposite at least some of the transversely-extending gaps on the front of the release liner for identifying a cut location to a cutter.
MULTI-PART LABEL SYSTEMS
Multi-part label systems, and methods for their assembly. A carrier material with a first label and a second label removably adhered thereto is provided. The first label and second label are dispensed from the carrier material and applied to a surface simultaneously, whereby after application the underside of the first label is in contact with the surface and the undersurface of the second label is in contact with the top side of the first label.
Label roll with a blank leader and method of manufacturing
A method of manufacturing a roll of adhesive labels. The method includes the step of providing a plurality of adhesive labels fixed to a backing sheet. A predetermined number of labels are removed from the backing sheet to thereby form a leading edge of the sheet that only includes the backing sheet and no labels. The leading edge includes no labels to thereby facilitate mounting the sheet of carrier material on a printing or applicator machine.
Sheet with feeding perforation
A printable sheet assembly and method provide for feeding cardstock sheets through a printer. The printable sheet assembly may include a first fold region. The first fold region comprises a robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The printable sheet assembly may include a second fold region. The second fold region may comprise a second robust perforated line disposed horizontally across the sheet assembly. The sheet assembly may include a product such as a name tag, business card, label, or card formed into the sheet assembly and configured to be processed through a printer device to receive indicia thereon.
Adhesive Tape Cartridge, Adhesive Tape Roll, and Manufacturing Method of Adhesive Tape Roll
The disclosure discloses an adhesive tape cartridge including a housing and an adhesive tape roll. The adhesive tape roll is disposed in the housing and winds an adhesive tape. The adhesive tape includes a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer, and a separation material layer. The first adhesive layer comprises an adhesive with a first pigment added. The second adhesive layer is disposed on one side of the first adhesive layer in a thickness direction and comprises an adhesive with a second pigment added. The separation material layer is disposed on the one side of the second adhesive layer in the thickness direction. A volume ratio of the second pigment in the second adhesive layer is smaller than a volume ratio of the first pigment in the first adhesive layer.
Adhesive Tape Cartridge, Adhesive Tape Roll, and Manufacturing Method of Adhesive Tape Roll
The disclosure discloses an adhesive tape cartridge including an adhesive tape roll that is disposed in a housing and winds a double-faced adhesive tape. The double-faced adhesive tape comprises a base material layer, a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer, and a separation material layer. The first adhesive layer is disposed on one side of the base material layer in a thickness direction and comprises an adhesive with a first pigment. The second adhesive layer is disposed on the other side of the base material layer and comprises an adhesive with a second pigment. The separation material layer is disposed on the other side of the second adhesive layer. An average particle diameter of the first pigment in the first adhesive layer and an average particle diameter of the second pigment in the second adhesive layer is different from each other.
Adhesive Tape Cartridge, Adhesive Tape Roll, and Manufacturing Method of Adhesive Tape Roll
The disclosure discloses an adhesive tape cartridge including an adhesive tape roll that winds a double-faced adhesive tape. The double-faced adhesive tape comprises a base material layer, a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer, a third adhesive layer, and a separation material layer. The first adhesive layer is disposed on one side of the base material layer and comprises an adhesive with a first pigment added. The second adhesive layer is disposed on the one side of the first adhesive layer and comprises an adhesive with a second pigment added. The third adhesive layer is disposed on the other side of the base material layer. The separation material layer is disposed on the other side of the third adhesive layer. A volume ratio of the first pigment in the first adhesive layer is greater than a volume ratio of the second pigment in the second adhesive layer.
Paper, labels made therefrom and methods of making paper and labels
Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.
LABELS WITH ADHESIVE PATCH PATTERNS
A label is provided. The label includes a substrate with diamond-shaped adhesive patches disposed on a pattern on a backside of the substrate. In an embodiment, the label has a peel value within a range of 130-150 gram force (gf) per inch (gf/in) based on the pattern. In an embodiment, the diamond-shaped adhesive patches include a first diamond-shaped adhesive patch and a second diamond-shaped adhesive patch, the size of the first diamond-shaped adhesive patches is greater than the size of the second diamond-shaped adhesive patch. In an embodiment, each first diamond-shaped adhesive patch surrounds a corresponding second adhesive patch without intersecting or touching the corresponding second adhesive patch.
