MEMBRANE-TYPE SENSOR AND ANALYZING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A membrane-type sensor, which has a membrane allowing a specific substance in a sample solution to permeate through the membrane and detects the specific substance that has permeated through the membrane based on a current flowing between working and counter electrodes immersed in an internal solution, and which is of an internal solution replenishment type configured to allow the internal solution to be supplied from an outside, includes a housing that contains the internal solution and an electrode structure having a tip end surface on which the working electrode is exposed, and a lid member that is attached to a tip end portion of the housing and fixes the membrane in a sandwiching manner along with the housing such that the membrane opposes the tip end surface of the electrode structure. The lid member has an opposing surface opposing the tip end surface of the electrode structure.

Polymer membranes for continuous analyte sensors
Devices and methods are described for providing continuous measurement of an analyte concentration. In some embodiments, the device has a sensing mechanism and a sensing membrane that includes at least one surface-active group-containing polymer and that is located over the sensing mechanism. The sensing membrane may have a bioprotective layer configured to substantially block the effect and/or influence of non-constant noise-causing species.
