Method and system for computer-aided triage of stroke
A system for computer-aided triage includes a router, a remote computing system, and a client application. A method for computer-aided triage includes receiving a data packet associated with a patient and taken at a point of care; checking for a suspected condition associated with the data packet; in an event that the suspected condition is detected, determining a recipient based on the suspected condition; and transmitting information to a device associated with the recipient.
Methods and systems for temperature screening using a mobile device
Methods and systems for temperature screening using a mobile device. In one example, a mobile temperature screening system may comprise a mobile device including a display, a memory, a processor, a thermal imaging camera, a visible light imaging camera, and a wireless communication capability. The processor may be configured to obtain a thermal image of a person and a visible light image of the person, determine a body temperature of the person based at least in part on the thermal image, and classify the person as having a normal body temperature when the body temperature of the person is below a threshold temperature. When the body temperature of the person exceeds the threshold temperature the processor may be configured to classify the person as having an elevated body temperature, generate a visual alert, and transmit the thermal image, the visible light image and the classification to a remote device.
STATE PREDICTION SYSTEM, MEMBER DETERMINATION SYSTEM, AND STATE PREDICTION METHOD
A state prediction system includes a controller. The controller is configured to acquire a current state value indicating a current state of a targeted individual in a group. The controller is configured to acquire a state propagation amount indicating a state amount propagated from another person in the group to the targeted individual by communication between the targeted individual and the other person. The controller is configured to predict a future state value indicating a future state of the targeted individual from the acquired current state value of the targeted individual and the acquired state propagation amount.
Systems and methods for acquiring PPG signals for measuring blood pressure
Systems and methods for acquiring photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals for measuring blood pressure can include a computing device acquiring a sequence of images representing transdermal optical data of a subject, and generating a corresponding sequence of downsampled color frames. The computing device can identify, in each downsampled color frame, a respective central image block representing a central image region of the downsampled color frame and having a first size smaller than a second size of the downsampled color frame. The computing device can generate, for each downsampled color frame, a corresponding color intensity value based on the respective central image block. The computing device can generate, using color intensity values corresponding to the sequence of downsampled color frames, a PPG signal to determine a blood pressure value of the subject.
Devices and methods for determining a disease state based total lens fluorescence
A device is provided that may include an illuminator operable to interrogate at least a lens of an eye. The illuminator may include at least one light source and a lens positioned with respect to the light source to produce interrogating radiation. The device also may include a detector operable to image the total autofluorescence response of the lens of the eye as viewable through a pupil of the eye, the detector comprising an image sensor. The device can also include a controller operable to control operation of the illuminator and the detector. The controller may interrogate at least the lens of the eye by activating the illuminator for a select time, obtain at least one image of the total autofluorescence response of the lens at the detector during or immediately subsequent to the select time, and transmit the at least one image to a remote device.
Monitoring neurological functional status
A device for measuring eye movement in a human subject comprises a housing, at least one stimulator mounted to the housing, and a sensor. The at least one stimulator is configured to provide stimulus to one or both eyes of the subject. The sensor is configured to collect information related to movement of one or both eyes of the subject. The device also includes a user interface that is configured to control the at least one stimulator and display information collected by the camera.
Telestroke eye examination accessory
A telestroke eye examination accessory device, a system incorporating the same, and methods of using the same, are described. The telestroke eye examination accessory device includes eyewear having a first eye well and a second eye well, a first camera positioned within the first eye well, a second camera positioned within the second eye well, a first light array having lights in each of four different quadrants in the first eye well, and a second light array having lights in each of four different quadrants in the second eye well. The system further includes a graphical user interface useful for a practitioner using the telestroke eye examination accessory device to assess the field of vision of a patient wearing the eyewear.
System and method for the administration of imaging devices
In a system for the administration of a group of imaging devices which are equipped with a corresponding device hosts, device software and a configuration protocol are executably stored on the device host. The system can include a distributed database system which configured to receive configuration protocols from the device host and to store modified configuration protocols for the respective device host, and to distribute modified configuration protocols. The received and/or stored configuration protocols are made available via a central write access. The system can include an administrator having a memory, a user interface and a processor for communicating with the distributed database system. Configuration protocols can be modified via the user interface and sent to the distributed database system for storage and/or distribution to at least one selected imaging device. These aspects are also applicable to a method for the administration of imaging devices.
System and methods with user interfaces for monitoring physical therapy and rehabilitation
A system for monitoring a joint of a patient includes multiple sensors to be disposed near a joint and to measure or observe actions or physical quantities associated with the joint; and at least one communications module coupled to the sensors to receive data from the sensors and to transmit sensor information to an external device. The system also includes a patient device and clinician device which can be used to, for example, monitor and display information obtained from the sensors, determine range of motion measurements from the sensor data, show progress in physical therapy, take a photograph or video of the site on the patient, obtain a pain score, and include friends for providing encouragement during physical therapy.
