HIGH SENSITIVITY RESONANT DRIVE SCHEME FOR RF FACE TRACKING
A system for facial movement detection with reduced size and reduced cost by employing a novel resonant drive and sampling scheme is disclosed. An example battery operated system includes a driver circuit, an LC resonance circuit formed by an inductor circuit and a capacitance from an antenna, and a sample and hold circuit. The driver circuit can be configured by a controller to generate a drive signal for the LC resonance circuit, which has a resonant frequency that changes as the capacitance of the antenna varies responsive to facial movements of the user. The sample and hold circuit samples the output of the LC resonance circuit responsive to a falling edge of the drive signal for the LC resonance circuit, wherein an output of the sample and hold circuit is a sampled sense signal that may be further processed to detect facial movements of the user.
Method for determining an occupancy status of a parking bay and for determining the occupancy statuses of several parking bays along a street
The invention relates to a method for determining an occupancy status of a parking bay, wherein a vehicle is moved along a street segment with at least one parking bay and the vehicle has a distance sensor as well as a sensor for satellite-based location and time determination. Furthermore, static parking information on the position of the parking bays in a street segment and parking information on the parking bays are on hand. By means of distance and location data projected distance data are produced which each indicate a distance datum of the distance sensor to the next object in the sensor direction at a point of the street of the street segment at the parking bay. By means of these projected distance data a standard distance is ascertained. Subsequently, for each point of a parking bay the determination is made if this is unoccupied by comparing the distance datum with the standard distance plus a delta. An area of a parking bay is determined as one or several vacant parking spaces if the rounded-down quotient of the length of the adjoining contiguous unoccupied points to the length of an average parking space is 1 or greater.

Automatic water surface skimmer
The present application discloses an automatic water surface skimmer, belonging to the technical field of water surface cleaning. For the existing anti-collision structure, most of impact force is transmitted to a hull through an anti-collision wheel, resulting in that the anti-collision wheel and the hull are damaged, the anti-collision effect is poor, and the service life of the anti-collision wheel and the hull is influenced. Further, garbage collected by adopting the existing solution is easily scatteredly fallen from an opening, and the collection effect is not good. The body of the automatic water surface skimmer is provided with an accommodating cavity running through upper and lower portions, such that a storage member can be placed from the top to the bottom, and it is convenient for a user to disassemble and assemble the storage member. Further, by changing the existing design that the water surface garbage enters from the opening in the front end of the storage member to the design that the garbage enters from the opening in the upper end of the storage member, the collected garbage can be effectively prevented from being scatteredly fallen from the opening in the front end, and the collection effect is good. In addition, the present application includes an anti-collision structure with at least two anti-collision wheels, such that the impact force can be effectively decomposed, the anti-collision effect is good, and the service life of the anti-collision wheels and the body can be effectively prolonged.
