MEDICAL IMAGING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
Embodiments related to medical imaging devices including rigid imaging tips and their methods of use for identifying abnormal tissue within a surgical bed are disclosed.
Optical probe for cervical examination
A system for imaging and examination of a cervix, comprising a control module connectable with a changeable head configured to image the cervix and collect a tissue biopsy, the head selected from a group consisting of a digital colposcope module, a transvaginal optical probe module and an endo-cervical endoscope module. The system may additionally comprise light source(s) to illuminate cervix tissue; sensing device(s) to generate signal(s) from light and/or to acquire image(s) of a portion of a cervix; and processor(s) in communication with the sensing device(s). The system is configured to: (i) analyze the signal(s); (ii) detect the size of the cervix; (iii) determine parameters defining properties of the cervix; (iv) determine and distinguish normal tissue from abnormal tissue within the cervix; (v) determine the location of area(s) of abnormal tissue in the cervix; and (vi) generate a panoramic view of the cervix.
OMNIDIRECTIONAL PHOTOACOUSTIC TOMOGRAPHY SYSTEM
A photoacoustic tomography system includes a first ring-shaped mirror having a central axis therethrough and configured to converge light inwardly towards the central axis and a subject, and an adjustment mechanism configured to move the first ring-shaped mirror along the central axis to a plurality of different positions. Each position of the plurality of different positions allows the first ring-shaped mirror to illuminate a respective ring of light around a respective portion of the subject, and an acoustic signal detector is movable along the central axis such that acoustic signals can be detected from the respective portion of the subject when illuminated by the first ring-shaped mirror while at each respective position of the plurality of different positions.
OPTOACOUSTIC PROBE FOR PROSTRATE IMAGING
A probe is provided for dual imaging of a tissue site that includes a light source configured to generate light that is transmitted along a light path to generate optoacoustic return signals and ultrasound return signals when the light reacts with the tissue site, and a transducer assembly including a first transducer on the distal end, and a second transducer on the distal end. The first transducer is configured to receive the optoacoustic return signals and having an acoustic lens provided over the first transducer, and the second transducer is configured to receive the ultrasound return signals.
MOBILE SYSTEM AND AUXILIARY METHOD FOR EVALUATING THERMOGRAPHIC BREAST IMAGES
An architecture for a mobile system and process for evaluating breast thermographic images having a system capable of analyzing and evaluating breast thermal images of a patient captured by a mobile device connected to a thermal imager, wherein the analysis returns to an auxiliary index, which is evaluated through an artificial intelligence tool, so that a health professional can make a decision, being able to show a diagnosis or lead the patient to more specific exams.
Medical imaging device and methods of use
Embodiments related to medical imaging devices including rigid imaging tips and their methods of use for identifying abnormal tissue within a surgical bed are disclosed.
Single-impulse panoramic photoacoustic computed tomography (SIP-PACT)
A single-impulse panoramic photoacoustic computed tomography (SIP-PACT) system for small-animal whole-body imaging is disclosed. In addition, a dual-speed of sound image universal back-projection reconstruction method is disclosed. Further, a PACT system for imaging a breast of a subject is disclosed.
TUMOR TARGETED FLUORESCENCE GUIDANCE FOR INTRAOPERATIVE MARGIN ASSESSMENT
Disclosed are novel detectable imaging agents that can bind to a novel biomarker for cancer and methods of their use in the resection of a tumor.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INFRARED THERMAL IMAGING BRA SYSTEM WITH BREAST DISEASE DETECTING FUNCTION
Disclosed is an artificial intelligence infrared thermal imaging bra system with breast disease detecting function. The system includes a side support, two chest support layers and two shoulder straps; the two shoulder straps are fixed at both ends of the side support, and the two chest support layers are symmetrically fixed between the two shoulder straps at the top of the side support; the two chest support layers are internally provided with sliding mechanisms that are adjustable according to different chests of users; a rotating mechanism for driving the sliding mechanisms to move is arranged between the two chest support layers at the top of the side support, and the rotating mechanism and the sliding mechanisms are in transmission connection; one end of the side support is fixed with a sub-buckle, and the other end of the side support is provided with a stretching mechanism.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IN VIVO IMAGING
The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to the use of optical nanoparticles in the illumination and imaging of tissues such as cancer tissues. Optical nanoparticles such as upconverting nanoparticles can be introduced into a patient and illuminated at a first time and wavelength and then imaged at a second time and wavelength to improve resolution and reduce imager size.
