Body weight measuring device and body weight measuring system
A body measuring device configured to determine size and shape of a body portion of a user. The body measuring device incorporates a measuring sensor for measuring a physical change amount based upon a change in electrical characteristics wherein the measuring sensor is characterized by including at least either a pressure-type measuring sensor for measuring a pressure applied from the body of the user or an expansion-type measuring sensor for measuring a degree of expansion of a base member caused by the body shape of the user. This body measuring device configuration determines size and shape without a user needing to undertake any self-measurements.
APPARATUS, A SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF FOOT MEASUREMENT FOR SELECTING READY-MADE FOOTWEAR
The invention allows foot measurement for selecting ready-made footwear that provides accurate results efficiently, easily and with low costs, and which can be performed both at home and at stores. An apparatus (120) of foot measurement comprises a base plate (121) and a single circumference measurement loop (123). The base plate (121) is utilized in measuring the length (401) of a foot, and an elastic portion (123A) of the circumference measurement loop (123) is utilized in measuring the circumference (402) around the ball of the foot.
Optical Foot Sole Scanning Apparatus and Insole Production Apparatus Having Same, Method for Ascertaining a Three-Dimensional Shape of an Insole and Method for Automatically Producing an Insole
An optical foot sole scanning apparatus, comprising: a) an element that is substantially in the shape of a plate or a wedge in the unloaded state and is made of a resilient material, having a foot placement side facing a foot sole of a human foot to be scanned when in use and having a scanner side, wherein the resilient material is at least partially light-transmissive, b) an optical scanner that is arranged on the scanner side of the element and is configured to emit electromagnetic radiation through the element at least in part onto the foot placement side of the element when in use and to record data when in use, and c) an evaluation unit that is connected to the optical scanner and is set up to perform a reconstruction of the three-dimensional shape of the foot sole from the data recorded by the optical scanner, and an orthopedic foot sole scanning system having same, an insole production apparatus having same, a method for ascertaining a three-dimensional shape of an insole having same, and a method for automatically producing an insole having same.
THERAPEUTIC SHOES AND COMPONENTS FOR USE WITH THERAPEUTIC SHOES
Stability footwear (e.g., a pair of therapeutic shoes) may include at least one stabilizing member, stabilizer, and/or outrigger on a lateral (outer or inner) side of a shoe, substantially adjacent to a sole of a shoe. A stabilizer may be positioned proximate a surface on which the sole rests and extending anywhere from a front, substantially a toe, to a heel of a shoe. The stabilizing member, stabilizer, and/or outrigger may reduce undesired foot roll and consequential ankle injuries and/or falls, by providing additional lateral support that does not compromise mobility or performance of the user.
Foot imprinting device for showing foot type
A foot imprinting device includes a plurality of foot imprinting units each of which includes a base seat, a colored pad disposed on the base seat, and a light transmitting sheet flippably disposed on and covering the colored pad. The light transmitting sheet is movable between a first state, in which the light transmitting sheet is configured to be stepped on by a person, and a second state, in which the light transmitting sheet is configured to show a footprint of a foot of the person.
Foot measuring and sizing application
Systems and processes for measuring and sizing a foot are provided. In one exemplary process, at least one image of a foot and a horizontal reference object from a first point of view is captured. A portion of the foot may be disposed against a vertical reference object. The at least one image may be displayed, where one or more camera guides are overlaid on the at least one displayed image. In response to aligning the one or more camera guides with one or more of the horizontal reference object and the vertical reference object, a measurement of the foot based on the at least one captured image from the first point of view is determined.
Device and System for Measuring a Dimension of an Object
Provided is a device for measuring at least one dimension of an object. The device includes at least one body configured to be arranged along, or around, the object. The, or each, body carries an elongate stretchable waveguide and is configured to allow stretching the waveguide along its length when arranged along, or around, the object. The, or each, waveguide is associated with a sensor. The, or each, sensor includes a light emitter arranged and operable to emit at least one light pulse through the associated waveguide, and a light detector arranged to receive the at least one light pulse conveyed through the waveguide. The device also includes a communication module communicatively coupled with the, or each, sensor, and configured to communicate measurement data from the, or each, sensor to a processor to allow determining the at least one dimension. Systems and methods for measuring at least one dimension of an object are also disclosed.
System for capturing a plantar image
A system for capturing a plantar image is provided, which is based on a depth sensor or 3D image capturing device connected to a portable structure having: first legs; a first frame that holds a glass pane; and an elastic membrane on which a patient places his or her foot, making contact with the glass pane positioned there below, in the manner of a floor, to capture the plantar image by means of the depth sensor disposed beneath the glass pane. Respective platforms provided with a pair of second legs can be joined to the first frame. A system is provided that includes a transparent floor in a portable structure that allows the assembly to be transported so as to be able to capture the patient's plantar image in any desired place.
Physiological information recording device and physiological information recording method thereof
A device for recording physiological information includes a carrier board comprising a plurality of force transducers and a plurality of contact sensing elements; and a processing unit, coupled to the force transducers and the contact sensing elements, configured to determine a center of gravity (COG) according to outputs of the force transducers, configured to determine a contacted range according to outputs of the plurality of contact sensing elements, configured to record the center of gravity and the contacted range, wherein the gravity and the contacted range substantially correspond to the same time point.
