MOBILITY LEVEL USER INTERFACE INCLUDING SMART TURN REMINDERS BASED ON RISK OF PATIENT

A patient support apparatus comprises a plurality of load cells, a frame supported on the load cells, a mattress, a plurality of air pressure sensors, and a control system. The mattress includes a plurality of inflatable zones positioned on the frame, the mattress and frame cooperating to direct any patient load through the mattress and frame to the load cells. Each of the plurality of air pressure sensors measures the pressure in a respective inflatable zone of the mattress. The control system includes a controller operable to receive a separate signal from each of the plurality of load cells and each of the plurality of air pressure sensors and process the signals to identify movement data and communicate the movement data to a caregiver.

Medication management and reporting technology

Medication management and reporting technology, in which output from at least one sensor configured to sense physical activity in a building in which medication of a patient is located is monitored and a determination is made to capture one or more images of the medication based on the monitoring. A camera is used to capture an image of the medication and the captured image is analyzed to detect a state of the medication. Information regarding a schedule by which the medication should be taken by the patient is accessed and an expected state of the medication is determined. The detected state is compared with the expected state and a determination is made that the patient has departed from the schedule based on the comparison revealing that the detected state does not match the expected state. A message indicating the departure from the schedule is sent based on the determination.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ONGOING MONITORING OF HEALTH AND WELLBEING

Systems and methods for monitoring health and wellbeing in an ongoing manner use radar chips to scan monitored regions such that data obtained by the scanning radar chip are processed to identify targets within the monitored region. Health indication and activity parameters are gathered via a wellbeing prediction engine assesses the targets using a machine learning model.

Systems and Methods for Detecting Traffic in a Shopping Facility

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful for detecting traffic in a shopping facility. A system for detecting traffic in a shopping facility comprises: a plurality of light emitters coupled to motion sensors configured to emit light when motion is detected by the motion sensor; a light detector having a field of view including at least one of the plurality of light emitters; a database; and a control circuit configured to obtain data from the light detector relating to light emitted from the light emitters, estimate a location of the light emitted from the light emitters based on location data associated with the light emitter stored in the database, and track a path of a customer based on successive light emissions from the light emitters.

Systems and methods for impairment testing in a monitoring system

Various embodiments provide systems and methods for identifying impairment using measurement devices.

Information processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium for determining a preferential user terminal to connect with

An information processing apparatus includes a communication unit, an information acquiring unit, a setting unit, and a controller. The communication unit communicatively connects with a terminal device having a sensor. The information acquiring unit acquires information detected by the sensor from the terminal device communicatively connected via the communication unit. The setting unit sets a preferential terminal device to be preferentially connected with the communication unit. The controller performs control to connect with the preferential terminal device preferentially over a terminal device that is not a preferential terminal device within a capacity range of the communication unit.

DETECTION AND IDENTIFICATION OF AUDITORY EVENTS IN DISTRIBUTED LIGHTING NETWORKS
20230180371 · 2023-06-08 ·

Detection and identification of auditory events in distributed lighting networks is provided. Lighting fixtures or other devices in a distributed lighting network can incorporate an audio sensor (e.g., a microphone) through which auditory events (e.g., air leaks in compressed air systems, high noise events, shots fired, clapping, voice commands, etc.) are detected and measured. Through machine learning (e.g., a convolutional neural network), a type of auditory event can be identified, and action can be taken based on the type of the auditory event, such as to provide notification, alert nearby users, log events, provide sound cancelation, and so on. In some examples, the auditory event can be localized using multiple audio sensors. In some examples, a learning algorithm can fuse information from multiple sensor inputs, such as temperature sensors, cameras, occupancy sensors, light sensors, and so on.
