MONITORING CATABOLISM MARKERS
20210161441 · 2021-06-03 ·

Health and care are improved through monitoring health markers. In one example a method includes measuring repeatedly at different times a quantity of a biochemical marker in a patient, storing the measurements in a log as entries associated with the patient, analyzing the stored measurements by comparing the quantity of the marker across the plurality of log entries, and determining an illness condition when a recent entry is different from previous log entries, for example when the recent entry is different by more than a threshold or when a baseline level or regular pattern is established from the multiple stored measurements and the recent entry is a change from the baseline by more than a threshold. If a deviation is determined, then an alert condition regarding the patient is determined.

Detachable elements comprising a body having a retention feature, an electrical contactor, and sensors are also disclosed. Further disclosed are detachable elements comprising a body having a hole and a retention pocket, an electrical contactor, and a printed circuit board assembly (PCB) in contact with the innermost surface of the body that forms the retention pocket. Further disclosed are detachable elements comprising a body having an opening and a printed film comprising conductive elements, where the conductive elements comprise a sensor configured to be aligned with the opening to expose the sensor. Further disclosed are reusable components having matching retention features.

Power efficient ultra-wideband (UWB) tag for indoor positioning

A system provides ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning. The system exchanges ranging signals at a first rate between a UWB beacon and a UWB tag. The system then determines movement or location information of the UWB tag; and select, based on the movement or location information, a second rate for exchanging subsequent ranging signals between the UWB beacon and the UWB tag. The system then exchanges the subsequent ranging signals at the second rate between the UWB beacon and the UWB tag.

RESTORING A WEARABLE BIOLOGICAL SENSOR

Embodiments are disclosed for a method for restoring a wearable biological sensor. The method includes determining that a wearable biological marker sensor comprising a reference electrode is placed within a restoration apparatus. The restoration apparatus includes a correct reference electrode, a counter electrode, and a chloride solution. The reference electrode is in electrical contact with the correct reference electrode and the counter electrode through the chloride solution. The method additionally includes determining whether the reference electrode is degraded based on a voltage differential between the reference electrode and the correct reference electrode. The method also includes restoring the reference electrode, if the reference electrode is degraded, by applying a voltage to a circuit. The circuit includes the reference electrode and the counter electrode. Further, multiple chloride ions of the chloride solution bond with a plurality of silver atoms of the reference electrode.

WEARABLE BIOSENSORS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF

Conformable and wearable sensors with integrated on-chip gate for the detection of biomolecules, chemicals, and other substrates and applications thereof are provided. Biosensor chips can be built with In2O3 nanoribbon field-effect transistors. Biosensor chips can conform to features of a human body, enabling ability for individuals to wear a biosensor.

TELEMETRY INTEGRATED SYSTEM

A system for the integrated/functional detection of different measurements is described. The system comprises a part wearable by a driver of a vehicle and plurality of sensors integrated in the wearable part and configured to supply the following driver parameters: breathing parameters, heart parameters, perspiration parameters and of the pressure exerted on the vehicle driving wheel. The system also includes a processor for processing the driver parameters and correlating them to a driver psychophysical condition.
