In some examples, a system is configured to determine a non-cerebral autoregulation status value of a patient using machine learning. In some examples, processing circuitry of the system is configured to determine, using a neural network algorithm that has been trained via machine learning training, an individualized adjustment value that is individualized for the patient, including inputting physiological data associated with the patient. The processing circuitry may determine a non-cerebral autoregulation status of the patient based on a cerebral autoregulation value of the patient based on the non-cerebral autoregulation status value of the patient and the adjustment value.

SANITARY DEVICE FOR URINE GLUCOSE TEST
20220369980 · 2022-11-24 ·

A sanitary device for the urine glucose test includes a urine container formed on an inner wall of a main body, and a measuring module with an inner space mounted at a bottom of the urine container. Within the inner space, a lens attaches to the bottom of the urine container, a rail faces a bottom surface of the lens, and a driving module moves a light unit shooting a detection beam to a measuring surface of the lens along the rail. The measuring surface contacts urine in the urine container, and reflects the detection beam out of the bottom surface into a sensor. The sensor is electrically connected to a processor. The processor determines a urine glucose level and generates a urine glucose level data instantly from an angle of incidence of the detection beam on the measuring surface and from a beam intensity signal from the sensor.

ARTIFICIAL BLADDER SYSTEM

An artificial bladder system including an implantable bladder, a valve, a number of sensors, and an alert mechanism. The implantable bladder includes an outer wall forming a chamber for collecting urine of a user, the outer wall including inflow openings and an outflow opening. The valve is integrated with the outflow opening to selectively allow urine to flow from the chamber through the outflow opening. The sensors are configured to detect a urine level in the chamber. The alert mechanism is configured to generate a sensory output to alert the user that the bladder should be emptied upon detection of the urine level in the chamber by one of the sensors.

Automated Urine Output System for Attachment to Hospital Bed

Disclosed herein is a system for monitoring urine output (UO) of a patient. The system includes a UO module configured to couple with a collection container. The UO module includes (i) a frame configured for anchoring to frame rails of a bed, (ii) a load cell configured to measure a weight of UO within the container and (iii) logic stored in memory that determines volumetric UO data from the load cell and transmits the UO data across a network to an external entity. An intermediate coupling device between the collection container and the UO module is configured to couple with the collection container and inhibit decoupling from the collection container. The intermediate coupling device includes an identification device attached thereto, identification device including patient information, and the logic links the UO data to the patient information.

BODILY FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

In some embodiments, an external bladder management system that is configured to reside within a urine collection receptacle (e.g., a toilet) includes a body that houses a fluid testing chamber. The fluid testing chamber is fluidically coupled to a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The system further includes a fluid capturing funnel fluidically coupled to and extending from the body and configured to couple the body to the urine collection receptacle. The system further includes an optical sensor disposed within the body and including (1) an emitter configured to convey light across the fluid testing chamber, and (2) an optical detector capable of measuring an intensity of the light as the light exits the fluid testing chamber. The fluid inlet, fluid testing chamber, and fluid outlet are collectively configured to encourage a laminar flow profile of the fluid as it flows through the fluid testing chamber.
