This disclosure relates to methods of surgical tissue reconstruction, such as for joint or ligament repair, and associated surgical constructs.

TRI-LOCK ADJUSTABLE BUTTON LOOP

A suture assembly, including a button having two apertures and a suture defining a lumen and forming a double loop, formed by a double trap having a first end and a second end, opposed to the button. A first portion of the suture is threaded through the trap from the first end to the second end, and a second portion of the suture is threaded through the trap from the second end to the first end. The assembly further defines a first single trap, in which the first portion of the suture is threaded through the lumen between the second end and the button. Also defined by the assembly is a third trap, in which the second portion of the suture is threaded through the lumen between the first end and the button. Finally, the double loop is threaded through the two apertures of the button.

Embodiments of devices, apparatuses, kits, and methods for repairing a human joint by suturing biological tissue to the articular surface of a bone at the joint (e.g., repairing defects in the humerus at the glenoid joint after an anterior shoulder dislocation) are described herein. Biological tissue may include hard tissue such as bone or a joint socket or soft tissue such as cartilage, ligaments, tendons, or muscle tissue.

ARTHROPLASTY IMPLANTS WITH ONE-WAY LOCKING MECHANISMS PROVIDED BY ATTACHABLE LOCKING FERRULES

Systems and methods are provided for performing tensionable knotless surgical procedures. A suture locking device that includes a one-way locking mechanism may be utilized for tensioning and locking one or more strands of suture during the surgical procedure. The one-way locking mechanism may be established by one or more locking barbs of the suture locking device.

Systems, apparatus and methods to repair operation of a heart valve

An implant configured to control travel of a leaflet of a heart valve, the implant comprising a first implant member, the first implant member having a first implant member first fastener, a first implant member second fastener, a tether connecting the first implant member first fastener and the first implant member second fastener and a first implant member connector slidably disposed on the tether; a second implant member, the second implant member having a second implant member connector and a second implant member anchor; wherein the first implant member connector and the second implant member connector are magnetically couplable, and wherein at least one of the first implant member connector and the second implant member connector comprises a permanent magnet.

KNOTLESS SOFT TISSUE DEVICES AND TECHNIQUES
20230181182 · 2023-06-15 ·

A tissue fixation device including a self-locking construct having a first loop, a second loop, and a first free end. A first tail is coupled to, and extends from, the first loop. A second tail is coupled to, and extends from, the second loop. An anchor is coupled to one of the self-locking construct or the first tail such that one of the self-locking construct or the first tail extend through the anchor.

HEART VALVE REGURGITATION ANCHOR AND DELIVERY TOOL

A heart valve anchor apparatus may include a body having a proximal portion and a distal portion. The body may include a first radially expandable portion at the proximal portion of the body, a second radially expandable portion at the distal portion of the body, and a root portion extending from the first radially expandable portion to the second radially expandable portion, the root portion having an outer extent. The first radially expandable portion may be configured to self-expand to an outer extent greater than the outer extent of the root portion when radially unconstrained. The second radially expandable portion may be configured to self-expand to an outer extent greater than the outer extent of the root portion when radially unconstrained. In an unstressed configuration, the body may define a longitudinal centerline that extends away from a plane tangent to the root portion.

SYNDESMOSIS TREATMENT CONSTRUCT

An apparatus and method are provided for a syndesmosis treatment construct configured to be placed into a cinched configuration that presses a first bone against a second bone. The syndesmosis treatment construct comprises a proximal fixator to contact the first bone and a distal fixator to contact the second bone. A first suture and a second suture are parallelly looped through the proximal fixator and oppositely looped through the distal fixator. Distal ends of the first and second sutures are fixated within a washer disposed between the proximal fixator and the first bone. Proximal ends of the first and second sutures are passed through openings in the washer and through the proximal fixator. Pulling of the proximal ends by a practitioner places the syndesmosis treatment construct into a cinched configuration. Any of various suitable suture knots may be formed so as to fixate the cinched configuration.
