Modular tray and bracket assembly for equipment sterilization
The present disclosure provides advantageous tray and bracket assembly that is configured and adapted to promote modularity and withstand the harsh environment of central sterile processing processes. Modular bracket assembly may be removed and relocated on tray without additional fasteners or components. Tray and bracket assembly may further provide identification features to correctly associate cataloged reusable medical devices to identified trays.
Sterilization tray
A sterilization tray is disclosed herein. A medical instrument, such as an endoscope, may be placed into the sterilization tray, and the sterilization tray with the medical instrument disposed therein may be placed into a vacuum chamber of a sterilization system. The sterilization tray may also be used to transport the medical instrument to and from a point of care. Sterilization is performed with the instrument in the base component and the lid component disposed atop the base component. Transportation is performed with the instrument in the lid component and the base component disposed atop the lid component.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DECONTAMINATED ENGAGEMENT OF VESSELS USING A DISPLACEABLE PLATE
The present invention relates, in some embodiments thereof, to systems, devices, and methods allowing for an engagement of two or more pharmaceutical vessels or pharmaceutical administration devices in a decontaminated manner. In some embodiments of the invention, the systems, devices and methods of the invention include a housing comprising a first compartment connectable to a first vessel's port; and a second compartment connectable to a second vessel's port, wherein the first and second compartments are engageable with each or integrally connected to each other, and wherein the first vessel is moveable within the housing from a first position wherein the vessel is connected to the first compartment, to a second position wherein the vessel is connected to the second compartment, wherein a substantially sterile aperture of the first vessel and/or second vessel is covered by a displaceable plate, and wherein prior to or at about the time of connection of the first vessel in the second position, the displaceable plate displaces from the aperture, allowing an substantially decontaminated engagement and fluid passageway between the first and second vessels.
Sterilization tray fastener and related methods
Sterilization tray fasteners are disclosed herein. The disclosed sterilization tray fasteners may be formed to join sterilization tray bases stacked directly on top of one another together. In some embodiments, sterilization tray bases may be formed to have slots or apertures to accommodate features of the disclosed fasteners. For example, in some embodiments, the disclosed sterilization tray fasteners include an elongate body and two curved arms that can extend into apertures of the sterilization tray bases. In many embodiments, the disclosed fasteners can be attached to and detached from sterilization tray bases without tools.
Method for providing an authentication lockout in a surgical stapler with a replaceable cartridge
A method of operating a surgical stapling device comprising a lockout for preventing the surgical stapling device from operating. The method comprises contacting a first authentication key protruding from a surgical staple cartridge in actuation contact with the lockout in the surgical stapling device to move the lockout into an intermediate position, contacting a second authentication key protruding from the surgical stapling cartridge distal to the first authentication key into other actuation contact with the lockout in the surgical stapling device to move the lockout from the intermediate position into an unlocked position, and operating the surgical stapling device.
PROTECTIVE CASING FOR A THIN-FILM LEAD PADDLE
The present disclosure relates to a protective casing for a thin-film lead paddle of a surgical lead, the thin-film lead paddle being connected to a lead cable through an interconnection portion, the protective casing comprising: a housing formed by a first part and at least a second part, the housing being configured and adapted to enclose at least a part of the thin-film lead paddle of the surgical lead, wherein each of the first and second parts includes a first surface and a second surface, the second surfaces of the first and second detachable parts being at least partially in contact to one another and/or in contact with the thin-film lead paddle when the first and second detachable parts are held in place to form the housing.

Modular bracket assembly may be removed and relocated on tray without additional fasteners or components. Tray and bracket assembly may further provide identification features to correctly associate cataloged reusable medical devices to identified trays.
MEDICAL STERILIZATION CONTAINER
A medical sterilization container has a tub-like first container part, a cover-like second container part, a filter device which is disposed or mounted, particularly from outside, on at least one of the container parts, and a sterilization container closure, which includes at least one closing flap that can be disposed on one of the container parts between a closed position and an open position for the purpose of closing the two container parts one to the other. When in the closed position, the closing flap locks and/or fastens and/or secures the filter device to the container part on which the filter device is disposed or mounted.
Modular tray and bracket assembly for equipment sterilization
A tray and bracket assembly are provided that are configured and adapted to promote modularity and withstand the harsh environment of central sterile processing processes. The modular bracket assembly may be removed and relocated on the tray without additional fasteners or components.
