CO2 Monitoring Smart Facemask Assembly
An article of manufacture for providing a CO.sub.2 monitoring smart facemask assembly according to the present invention includes_a CO.sub.2 sensor component having a CO.sub.2 sensor, a serial data connection, and a power connection, a set of connecting wires, and_a controller unit coupled to the CO.sub.2 sensor component by the set of connecting wires. The controller unit includes a programmable microcontroller, the programmable microcontroller receives a measure of a current CO2 value from the CO.sub.2 sensor component, a battery, one or more visual alarm devices; and_an auditory alarm device and an alarm reset button 207. The microcontroller activates the one or more visual alarm devices and the auditory alarm devices when the current CO.sub.2 value is greater than a pre-defined threshold. This warning will ensure safety of the user and an option to shut the alarm off, thereby after the warning has been acknowledged. The one or more visual alarm devices include one or more LEDs and a display device. The display device shows an alpha-numeric representation of the current CO.sub.2 value measured by the CO.sub.2 sensor component.
WEARABLE DEVICES
Methods, systems, and devices for wearable devices are described. A wearable device may include a first annular member forming the frame of the wearable device. The first annular member may include one or more deformable features that are configured to structurally weaken the frame of the wearable device and the one or more deformable features may be located along a portion of the frame. In some cases, the wearable device may include a first annular member and a second annular member to form a frame of the wearable device. The second annular member may include a non-metal material. The first annular member, the second annular member, or both, may include one or more deformable features that are configured to structurally weaken the frame of the wearable device and the one or more deformable features may be located along a portion of the frame.
Surgical instrument including a drive assembly movable in a non-motorized mode of operation
A surgical instrument comprising a shaft, an end effector, a housing, a drive assembly, and a manually-driven actuator is disclosed. The end effector comprises a first jaw and a second jaw rotatable relative to the first jaw between an open position and a clamped position. The housing comprises a rotary input movable by a motor. The drive assembly is operably engaged with the rotary input. The drive assembly is movable by the motor in a motorized mode of operation to transition the second jaw toward the clamped position. The drive assembly is movable in a non-motorized mode of operation by the manually-driven actuator to permit a transition of the second jaw toward the open position to release tissue between the first jaw and the second jaw.
Diagnostics systems and methods
A point-of-care diagnostic system that includes a cartridge and a reader. The cartridge can contain a patient sample, such as a blood sample. The cartridge is inserted into the reader and the patient sample is analyzed. The reader contains various analysis systems, such as an electrophoresis detection system that uses electrophoresis testing to identify and quantify various components of the blood sample. The reader can process data from the various patient sample analysis to provide interpretative results indicative of a disorder, condition, disease and/or infection of the patient.
Systems, methods, and devices for instrument guidance
A system for instrument guidance is disclosed. The system can include an instrument guide device and a transducer system. The instrument guide device can include an instrument guide and an instrument guide bracket that includes a magnet, and the instrument guide bracket can be removably attachable to the instrument guide. The transducer system can include an ultrasound probe bracket that is removably attachable to an ultrasound probe. Further, the instrument guide device can removably attach to the ultrasound probe bracket. The ultrasound probe bracket can further include a first sensor and second sensor. The first sensor can wirelessly track a position of the magnet to determine position data of the instrument guidance system. And the second sensor can provide power or disengage power to the instrument guidance device when the instrument guide is attached or detached, respectively.
DEVICE AND PROCESS FOR ECG MEASUREMENTS
