Dental implant superstructure support
A superstructure support for disposition between an implantation body and a crown of a prosthetic tooth replacement includes a crown supporting area with an upper engagement structure or supporting the crown and a lower area facing the implantation body and having a smooth microstructure surface provided with webs and grooves extending around the superstructure support and acting as bacteria barrier between the gum of a patient and the superstructure support when mounted onto the implantation body installed in the jawbone of the patient.
Titanium nano-scale etching on an implant surface
A method of forming an implant to be implanted into living bone is disclosed. The method comprises the act of roughening at least a portion of the implant surface to produce a microscale roughened surface. The method further comprises the act of immersing the microscale roughened surface into a solution containing hydrogen peroxide and a basic solution to produce a nanoscale roughened surface consisting of ranopitting superimposed on the microscale roughened surface. The nanoscale roughened surface has a property that promotes osseointegration.
Implant and preparation method thereof
An implant and preparation method thereof, wherein the implant comprises an implant body, the implant body comprises an opposing first end and second end, wherein an opening is provided at a top end surface of the first end, a first portion and a second portion are provided at an outer side of the implant body, compared with the second portion, the first portion is closer to the first end, a first fixing structure is provided on the first portion, a second fixing structure is provided on the second portion, bionic structures are provided on surfaces of the first portion and the second portion, the bionic structures comprise a plurality of micropores, and diameters of the plurality of micropores are 1 nm to 20 ?m.
ROOT-ANALOG DENTAL IMPLANTS AND SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR DESIGNING AND MANUFACTURING SAME
A root portion of a root-analog dental implant may include a core positioned in an approximate center of the root portion of the dental implant. The core may provide mechanical strength and/or support for the dental implant and may include one or more struts. The root-analog dental implant may further include a porous surface positioned on a portion of a vertically oriented exterior surface of the core. The struts may be configured and arranged to provide mechanical strength and/or support for the root-analog dental implant.
Hard-tissue implant
Hard-tissue implants are provided that include a bulk implant, a face, pillars, and slots. The pillars are for implantation into a hard tissue. The slots are to be occupied by the hard tissue. The hard-tissue implant has a Young's modulus of elasticity of at least 10 GPa, has a ratio of the sum of (i) the volumes of the slots to (ii) the sum of the volumes of the pillars and the volumes of the slots of 0.40:1 to 0.90:1, does not comprise any part that is hollow, and does not comprise any non-pillar part extending to or beyond the distal ends of any of the pillars. Methods of making and using hard-tissue implants are also provided.
IMPLANTABLE OBJECTS, GUIDING DEVICES, AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Embodiments of the disclosure relate to implantable objects and guiding devices, as well as recipient site preparation instruments, bone-implantable materials, and methods of fabrication and use thereof.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SELECTING SURFACE FINISHES
A method and system of selecting a surface finish for a computer designed component associated with an anatomical area of a specific patient. A computer designed component is created. The component includes at least one surface. An interface of finishing software displays an image of the component and the at least one surface. A plurality of finishes available for the at least one surface is displayed. A selection of one of the plurality of finishes for the at least one surface is input by a user. The component data and finishing data may then be sent to a computer aided manufacturing system to manufacture the computer designed component.
SURFACE TREATMENT FOR AN IMPLANT SURFACE
An implant system and a method of forming the implant system including an implant to be implanted into living bone. The implant includes titanium. The implant includes a first surface geometry on a first portion of a surface of the implant and a second surface geometry on a second portion of the surface of the implant. The first surface geometry includes at least a submicron topography including tube-like structures and the second surface geometry includes a first micro-scale topography, a second micro-scale topography superimposed on the first topography, and a submicron topography superimposed on the first and second micro-scale topographies, the submicron topography including the tube-like structures.
Integrated dental implant abutments
A dental abutment having a coronal portion for supporting a prosthesis separated from a post for seizing, galling or cold welding in a dental implant by a cylindrical portion and hemispheric base portion of length less than the combined length of the prosthetic head and locking taper post portions. The hemispherical portion of the abutment having a sloping shoulder with a surface that forms a small angle with a perpendicular to the cylindrical surface. A dental prosthesis system including such dental abutments.
Internal sinus lifting drill set
A system and method is provided for performing internal maxillary sinus lift procedures where the system and method employs a set of sequentially deployed surgical drill bits to be used in conjunction with a dental implant surgical kit for performing internal maxillary sinus lift procedures in the dental implant surgical situations where the sub-antral bone height is not adequate to host an implant.
