Mouthpiece type of electric toothbrush
A mouthpiece type of electric toothbrush is disclosed. The mouthpiece type of electric toothbrush includes: a toothbrush head that includes a mouthpiece-shaped housing which is provided with upper and lower openings and a blocked intermediate portion, wherein a plurality of first silicone protrusions may be arranged to be spaced apart from each other by a predetermined interval along an inner wall surface of the housing in the upper and lower openings; and a main body that is detachable from the toothbrush head and transmits a vibration to the toothbrush head. The toothbrush head may further include a water-containing pad and an air layer provided at a lower portion of a silicone layer thereof, thus it is possible to easily spread toothpaste through the water-containing pad and to correspond to a size of a user's mouth or oral cavity by adjusting an air amount of the air layer.
Computerized Toothbrush
A dental cleaning device includes a bite plate to clamp an upper and a lower arch in a predetermined bite position; a track fixed to the bite plate to provide a dental arch movement; and a carrier holding dental instruments thereon and moving along the track.
Omnidirectional Scientific Toothbrush
An omnidirectional scientific toothbrush includes a brush handle and a brush head having a U-shaped structure. A central gearset, and tooth outer side brush rollers and tooth inner side brush rollers, both of which are respectively arranged in an upper row and a lower row according to tooth layout, and a tooth end surface brush roller driven by the central gearset are installed in an inner cavity of the brush head. The tooth end surface brush roller is located in a space defined by the tooth outer side brush rollers and the tooth inner side brush rollers. The rotating action of the tooth end surface brush roller allows the tooth end surface brush roller to simultaneously brush occlusal surfaces of Upper and lower rows of teeth. Thus the cleaning operation of all of the teeth in the mouth may just be finished at one time automatically.
Connecting element, a base unit and a cleaning head for use in an oral care appliance
A connecting element, a base unit and a cleaning head for use in an oral care appliance are disclosed. The connecting element is configured to engage operatively with the cleaning head and the base unit to form a first connection and a second connection respectively.
Smart oral cleaner
A smart oral cleaner includes a tooth-cleaning component, the tooth-cleaning component includes a first wall body and a second wall body, a hollow structure is formed between the first wall body and the second wall body, the second wall body is recessed towards the first wall body, the second wall body has a first wall surface and a second wall surface arranged opposite to one another, the first wall surface and the second wall surface are provided with jet holes, the second wall body has a shape adapted to a shape of a tooth, and an end surface of the tooth-cleaning component is in a shape of a slope-shaped depression.
ORAL CARE MOUTHPIECE CONNECTED TO LARGER MASS FOR INCREASED VIBRATION
In a device that includes a vibrating mouthpiece, a source of vibratory movement is connected to a relatively large, relatively stationary mass, or anchor, so the equal and opposite vibrational momentum of the handpiece (plus large mass) results in very little vibrational amplitude of the handpiece-plus-mass, while the active mouthpiece has high vibrational amplitude. In an example, a mouthpiece which engages with a part of a dental arch, is actively cleaning, while a block on the other side of the dental arch acts to anchor the vibration source to the much larger mass of the user's jaw (and head). When the user's jaws grip the block, there will be very little vibration of the handpiece or the user's teeth-jaw-head mass and consequently, the mouthpiece will vibrate at a greater amplitude than it would without the anchor. This leads to greater efficiency of the device.
WEAR-OUT DETECTION FOR AN ORAL CARE SYSTEM
A wear-out assessment for an oral care system (14) (e.g. an oral cleaning device) is disclosed. A sensor unit (16) of the oral care system is adapted to provide a sensor signal related to a cleaning efficacy of a cleaning function of the oral care system when generated when the oral care system is inside a user's mouth. The sensor unit (16) may be, or may be coupled to, a component which is used during execution of an oral care function of the device, for example a sensor for detecting cleaning progress in the mouth, or a component which drives a cleaning or treatment action in the mouth. In accordance with the invention, the sensor signal (20) generated when the oral care system is outside the mouth is used for performing a wear-out assessment. As relevant components used by the oral care system (14) for the oral care function wear, characteristics of the sensor signal (20) may change in a predictable way, which can be used to identify when a wear-out state has been reached.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING SURFACES AND USE THEREOF
The invention relates to a device for cleaning surfaces such as teeth, interdental spaces, and adjacent gums, wherein the cleaning device (1) comprises at least one shuttle (2), which is embodied as U-shaped or C-shaped in order to encompass a subregion of a dental arch quadrant, wherein the shuttle (2) defines a cleaning space (8), wherein filaments (7) or filament bundles (7) extend into the cleaning space (8) in brush-like fashion from the regions (6, 13) that define the cleaning space (8).
