Teeth Cleaning Device
In one embodiment, the invention may be a teeth cleaning device including: a first support structure comprising a first dentature channel configured to receive at least a first portion of a dentature of a user; a plurality of teeth cleaning pads located within the first dentature channel; a plurality of air bladders operably coupled to the teeth cleaning pads; an air-flow subsystem operably coupled to the air bladders; and a control unit operably coupled to the air-flow subsystem, the control unit configured to: (1) pressurize the air bladders with external air in a pressurization mode; and (2) transfer air between select ones of the air bladders in a cleaning mode.
Teeth Cleaning Device
In one embodiment, the invention may be a teeth cleaning device including: a first support structure having a first dentature channel configured to receive at least a first portion of a dentature of a user, the first dentature channel defined at least in part by a first channel floor, a first facial wall, and a first glossal wall; a plurality of teeth cleaning pads, the teeth cleaning pads including: a first facial teeth cleaning pad coupled to the first facial wall; and a first glossal teeth cleaning pad coupled to the first glossal wall so as to oppose the first facial teeth cleaning pad, the first facial teeth cleaning pad and the first glossal teeth cleaning pad being oriented such that an acute angle is formed therebetween; a plurality of air bladders operably coupled to the teeth cleaning pads; and an air-flow subsystem operably coupled to the air bladders.
System and method for teeth cleaning
Embodiments are described wherein a system for brushing the teeth of a person comprises a master input device; a flexible teeth tray configured to at least partially encapsulate one or more of the teeth in a flexible substrate material, the flexible teeth tray comprising one or more vibratory transducers removably coupled to one or more brushing panels; and a controller operatively coupled to the master input device and the one or more vibratory transducers; wherein subject to an input from the master input device, the controller is configured to cause reciprocating brushing motion of the one or more brushing panels against a surface of the one or more encapsulated teeth, to clean the one or more teeth.
Brushing part and method for manufacturing the brushing part
A method for manufacturing a brushing part including the following steps: providing the support, pierced with through-holes, passing through the channel formed by the support; forming the tuft of bristles, by assembling a plurality of bristles by one end opposite the free end, so as to form a base of the tuft, so that a diameter of a section of the tuft, in a plane transverse to a direction of extension of the tuft, is greater than a diameter of a through-hole; merging the ends forming the base of the at least one tuft so that an extension of the merged zone in a direction transverse to the direction of extension of the at least one tuft is greater than an extension of the base in the transverse direction before the merging step; inserting the one tuft by force into one of the holes of the channel of the support, depositing glue and filling with resin.
MOUNT FOR AN ORAL APPLIANCE
A mount for an oral appliance. The mount comprises one or more holes that are configured to, when the mount is stretched in a first direction, cause a further deformation of the mount in at least one other direction, for example, to cause a bending or folding of the mount to improve clamping and conformation of the mount to oral tissues.
AUTOMATIC TOOTHBRUSHES
Automatic toothbrushes are disclosed herein. A toothbrush configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a handle and a mouthguard coupled to the handle. The mouthguard can be configured to be positioned within a mouth of a user over multiple teeth of the user. A brush assembly having a plurality of bristles can be removably positioned within the mouthguard for engaging and cleaning the teeth of the user. A motor can be disposed within or coupled to the handle and configured to articulate the brush assembly within the mouthguard.
Oral care system with mouthpiece
An oral care system for cleaning teeth and gums includes a housing, an oral hygiene unit, and a gooseneck arm attached to the housing and releasably coupling the oral hygiene unit to the housing, the gooseneck arm being adjustable to hold the oral hygiene unit at a defined position and orientation relative to the housing. The oral hygiene unit has a mouthpiece having at least one arcuate channel adapted to receive and surround the teeth. The mouthpiece includes at least two modalities chosen from a group consisting of a mechanical modality, an iontophoretic modality, and a disinfection modality, wherein the mechanical modality brushes the teeth and gums and dislodges food debris, the iontophoretic modality breaks up plaque buildup, and the disinfection modality removes the food debris and plaque. The oral care system includes a control unit which controls transmission of the modalities and tracks utilization of the system.
Device for dental hygiene
