Oral care devices held in-mouth
Hands-free systems, devices and methods, adapted for brushing, cleaning and treating all of a user's teeth simultaneously, are provided. In some embodiments, such a device comprises brushes for cleaning all of a user's teeth simultaneously. In some embodiments, such a device includes a generally U-shaped channel(s), accepting, cleaning and/or treating all of a user's teeth simultaneously. Customized fluid jets within such devices are provided, introducing dentifrices and other treatments into the channels. In some embodiments, compartments and cartridges with a proprietary form factor for delivering dentifrice and other treatments and for disposing of waste without mess are provided. In some embodiments, data are gathered, analyzed and serve as the basis for a treatment plan, which may then be carried out by the system(s), device(s) and method(s), over time.
ADAPTABLE MOUTHPIECE ASSEMBLY FOR TOOTH CLEANING
Devices and methods for applying oral care with an adaptable mouthpiece assembly. The adaptable mouthpiece assembly includes a support plate configured to be inserted in a mouth of a user, and a chain member configured to accommodate a section of teeth and gum of the user. The chain member includes a plurality of shackles that are arranged successively on the support plate and that are hingeably coupled to each other. A posterior shackle is coupled to the support plate via a first fixed pivot. An anterior shackle is coupled to the support plate via a movable pivot. A configuration of the plurality of shackles is adjustable by allowing the plurality of shackles to move freely in a horizontal plane along the support plate between the first fixed pivot and the movable pivot.
PERSONAL CARE DEVICES
Proposed are schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods and systems pertaining to aiding and/or improving image acquisition from a vibratory personal care device having an image capture device. Embodiments propose controlling an exposure parameter of the image capture device based on a parameter of the periodic vibration waveform. Through control of an exposure parameter of the image capture device, improved images (e.g. images exhibiting less blur and/or distortion) may be obtained. In this way, improved images may be obtained from a vibratory personal care device.
Hands free oral hygiene system
An oral hygiene system for cleaning teeth and gums includes a mouthpiece having at least one arcuate channel adapted to receive and surround the teeth. The mouthpiece includes at least two modalities chosen from a mechanical modality, an iontophoretic modality, and a disinfection modality. The mechanical modality brushes the teeth and gums and dislodges food debris, the iontophoretic modality breaks up plaque and tartar buildup, and the disinfection modality removes the food debris, plaque and tartar buildup. A control system coordinates the transmission of modalities, tracks and records utilization, recording completed and failed treatment cycles, and transmits them to a monitoring system. The monitoring system, which links to electronic medical administrating record (eMAR) technology and patient tracking technology (e.g., RFID sensors, electronic tags), facilitates compliance with recommended oral hygiene regimens and review of compliance by medical staff, assisted living staff, and/or caregivers.
Smart Teethbrush
The present invention describes a conformable U-shaped teeth brush device having a conformable shape adjusting U-shaped teethbrush module and one or more individual tooth brushes coupled to the power drive mechanism, each brush having a sensor, piezoelectric crystal and transducer and each tooth brush having a block anchor coupled to the power drive, under smart controls, an electronic control system for sensing individual tooth pressure and controlling motor transmission of vibration to prior positioned brushes, whereby a users unique mouth features can be accounted for by adjusting U-shape distal ends to fit through the users mouth and align with users teeth arch for programmatically brushing more than one tooth simultaneously.
Personal Care Implement
A personal care implement which incorporates a head coupled to a handle. The handle has a motor, a pump operably coupled to the motor, a routing component coupled to the pump, first and second valves, and a controller. The first and second valves are coupled to the routing component. The head has a plurality of cleaning elements and a bladder. The first and second valves are operated by the controller to selectively pressurize and depressurize the bladder by the pump.
ORAL HEALTH DEVICE FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY BRUSHING THE SURFACES OF AND CLEANING THE INTERPROXIMAL SPACES BETWEEN A USER’S TEETH
An oral insert includes a plurality of bristles and a plurality of fluid nozzles. The plurality of bristles is located on an upper portion and a lower portion of a tray surface of the oral insert. The plurality of fluid nozzles is located at an inner portion and an outer portion of the tray surface. Fluid output by the plurality of fluid nozzles causes the plurality of bristles to contact surfaces of teeth associated with a user of the oral insert.
Tooth brushing system
The present invention relates to a tooth brushing system that provides users with a novel and convenient way to clean their teeth. The system is primarily comprised of at least one brushing ball with a plurality of bristles and at least one battery, at least one toothbrush which is further comprised of at least one LED and a plurality of bristles, and at least one storage case. The brushing ball is further comprised of a LED light that may be changed to a plurality of lighting colors. The system further provides a toothbrush that allows a user to be able to see into the darker areas of their mouth to facilitate better cleaning.
CUSTOMIZED MOUTHPIECE AND DRIVE MECHANISM COUPLED VIA MULTIPLE CONNECTION POINTS
The dental care device comprises a drive mechanism and a customized mouthpiece. The drive mechanism comprises a first motor connection point, a second motor connection point, and one or more motors. The customized mouthpiece is configured to couple with the drive mechanism, and comprises: a first region including a first mouthpiece connection point configured to engage with the first motor connection point; a second region including a second mouthpiece connection point configured to engage with the second motor connection point; and a third region connection the first region and the second region, such that the first region can be moved independently of the second region.
HANDS-FREE ORAL CARE DEVICE AND METHOD
Hands-free oral care devices and methods are described herein. In one embodiment, an oral care device includes a mouthpiece configured to be received within a user's mouth, the mouthpiece including an upper bristle track and a lower bristle track that are pivotably coupled together. The device further includes a first housing component coupled to the mouthpiece such that at least a portion of the first housing component can be compressed between the upper bristle track and the lower bristle track, and a second housing component sealingly coupled to the first housing component to define a watertight cavity therebetween. A battery can be disposed within the cavity, as well as an actuator and a pressure sensitive switch that is effective to detect pressure exerted on the first housing component when the upper and lower bristle tracks pivotably move relative to one another and selectively couple the actuator to the battery.
