DENTAL CARE MOUTHPIECE CLEANING SYSTEM
A mouthpiece cleaning device includes a U-shaped mouthpiece skeleton that defines opposing channels to receive a user's teeth therein. The channels each have a respective teeth facing surface, and transducers are disposed along the channels at the respective teeth facing surfaces. UV LEDs are disposed along the channels at the respective teeth facing services. The UV LEDs are interspersed with the transducers.

A customized oral irrigator which is adapted to the user's dentition, has multiple nozzles or cutout openings to point to the area to irrigate. User can anchor such device by biting with the teeth and irrigate the teeth and gum, especially between the teeth and under the gum, in one instance. Such a device is fast and effective. It will be beneficial to everyone but will especially benefit busy professionals, children, seniors, handicapped, disabled, and other users who have difficulty cleaning teeth, for example people who wear dental devices such as braces. This device is meant to combine oral care procedures such as tooth brushing and dental flossing in one instance and will yield better dental hygiene and with better compliance than conventional brushing and flossing and conventional single channel oral irrigators.
Short wavelength visible light-emitting toothbrush with an electronic signal interlock control
A toothbrush having one or more light sources with an electronic interlock control device preventing operation of the light source when the toothbrush is removed from the user's mouth. The electronic interlock control over operation is necessary to prevent accidental eye exposure to the high intensity light source with a wavelength in the range of about 400 nm to about 1000 nm. The light-emitting toothbrush activates upon entering the user's mouth but deactivates immediately when removed, thus protecting the user's eyes from direct exposure to the high power light source contained in the brush head.

TOOTH WHITENING METHOD
A method such as polishing the tooth under suitable conditions to enhance whitening effects. The following steps 1 to 3 are performed in number order, using a tooth polishing portion made of resin or resin composition having uneven surface, and citric acid or citric acid metal salts dispersed or dissolved in a gelatinous medium: Step 1: Apply a gel of 1 to 73 % citric acid or citric acid metal salts to the tooth surface. Step 2: Heat the tooth surface with the heating plate at 37° C.-45° C. for at least 3 minutes. Step 3: Scrub the tooth surface with the tooth polishing portion to provide friction while removing the gel.
ORAL CARE COMPOSITION AND DEVICES FORMED THEREWITH
An oral care composition is disclosed. The oral care composition includes (A) an adhesive agent comprising an alkylated polyvinylpyrrolidone, (B) a miscibility component comprising an acrylic acid-acrylate copolymer, and (C) a plasticizer comprising a polyalkylene glycol. An oral care device is also disclosed. The oral care device includes an oral care layer comprising the oral care composition and a whitening agent. A method of preparing the oral care device is also disclosed, and includes extruding the oral care composition to give the oral care layer, and preparing a laminate comprising the oral care layer. The method may further include processing the laminate to give the oral care device, which may be prepared as an oral care strip or an oral care tray.
ORAL CARE APPLIANCE WITH LIGHT ILLUMINATION FOR TEETH WHITENING AND GUM HEALTH
An oral appliance having a body, the body including a plate member and a lighting system. The plate member having a first surface, the first surface including a top portion, a center portion, and a bottom portion. The lighting system includes a first lighting sub-system having at least one first light source, where the at least one first light source arranged in the center portion of the plate member, and a second lighting sub-system having at least one second light source, where the at least one second light source arranged in the top portion of the plate member and/or the bottom portion of the plate member. The at least one first light source is arranged to produce a first light at a first wavelength and the at least one second light source is arranged to produce a second light at a second wavelength.
METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR ALTERING TEETH
Embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to methods of altering a tooth by applying an object to the tooth, where the object includes a composition that is released from the object onto the tooth, and where the composition has an altering effect on the tooth, such as tooth whitening, tooth repair, tooth maintenance, or combinations thereof. Additional embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to the objects of the present disclosure. The objects of the present disclosure may be in a chewable form, such as in the form of a chew toy or a chewing gum. The objects of the present disclosure may also be in a form that is capable of being applied topically by rubbing or brushing. The objects of the present disclosure may also include a second composition that has effects other than tooth altering effects, such as enticing a chewing of the object.
