Transferring digital receipt data to mobile devices
The present invention extends to methods, systems, and computer program products for transferring digital receipt data to mobile devices. A point-of-sale (“POS”) system generates digital receipt data as part of a sales transaction. The point-of-sale (“POS”) system and a mobile device, possibly also along with a receipt data server, interoperate with one another to transfer digital receipt data generated to the mobile device. In some embodiments, the point-of-sale (“POS”) system transfers digital receipt data for a sales transaction to the receipt data server. An identifier, such as, for example, an application identifier or transaction identifier, is stored along with the digital receipt data to match the digital receipt data with the mobile device. The mobile device subsequently uses the identifier to access the digital receipt data from the receipt data server. In other embodiments, the point-of-sale (“POS”) system transfers digital receipt data directly to the mobile device.
Apparatuses, methods, and systems for generating interactive digital receipts
Disclosed herein are methods and systems to generate and communicate interactive digital proofs of transaction. In one implementation, the method may include receiving an indication of a payment transaction between a merchant and a user and processing payment for the payment transaction. The payment processing system generates one or more interactive digital proofs of transaction including at least details of the payment transaction and availability of a vacancy or resource at the payee location. The user may respond via the interactive receipt.

A printer driver according to the invention has an installation decision unit that determines if a specific application is installed on a mobile device targeted for communication; a receipt generation decision unit that determines whether or not to generate a paper receipt and/or electronic receipt based on the decision of the installation decision unit; and receipt generating process units that execute paper receipt and/or electronic receipt generating processes according to the decision of the receipt generation decision unit.
Security in mobile payment service
The disclosure is related to providing a mobile payment service without revealing an actual payment card number. User equipment may be configured to receive a set of virtual mobile payment card numbers assigned to a mobile payment card, to select one of the received virtual mobile payment card numbers based on a payment initiation time upon generation of a predetermined event, and to transmit a payment request with the selected virtual mobile payment card number and the payment initiation time to the server through at least one of a point-of-sale (POS) terminal and a value-added network (VAN) server.
Methods and devices for generating and reporting digital QR receipts
A system for managing transaction information includes a user device, a transaction server having a processor and a memory, and a point-of-sale device. The point-of-sale device is configured to communicate identification information and transaction information associated with a user purchase to said user device. The point-of-sale device is further configured to transmit said identification information and transaction information over a network to said transaction server.
Techniques for automating self-service transactions
Techniques for automated transactions are provided. A customer uses a mobile device to interact with a self-service checkout device (SSCO) to perform a transaction. Initially, a unique barcode for the transaction is generated and displayed to the customer, via an attract screen of the SSCO. The mobile device scans the barcode (can be a QR code); this causes the mobile device to communicate with a remote server that identifies the customer. Preferences for the customer are retrieved and the transaction and features of the SSCO are configured based on the preferences. The transaction proceeds with the configured preferences.
System and method for providing a live register receipt
A method and system for providing synchronous display at a customer mobile device of a vendor point of sale register receipt in the process of being created is disclosed. The method may include, at a customer mobile wireless device, initiating a live register receipt application and authentication process with a live register receipt provider, receiving and forwarding unique vendor register identification information and forwarding that information to the live register receipt provider. In response the customer mobile device receives and displays line item data from the identified vendor register via the provider in real-time. The system may include a customer mobile device configured to implement the live register receipt functionality described and a live register receipt provider configured to communicate live register data from vendor registers and mobile devices.
Invoice financing and repayment
A payment processing system for processing point-of-sale transactions and extending financing to merchants for invoice payment is disclosed. The payment processing system receives a request from a first merchant to generate an invoice for a second merchant. The payment processing system calculates financing terms for payment of the invoice, wherein the financing terms include repayment terms designating a portion of each transaction processed by the payment processing system for the second merchant to withhold for payment of the invoice. The payment processing system may advance payment of the invoice to the first merchant and take repayment from the portion of the withheld portion of transactions or transmit the withheld portion to the first merchant for payment of the invoice.
Systems and methods for managing consumer transaction-based investments
The field of the invention relates to systems and methods for controlling investment funds, and more particularly to systems and methods for real-time projections based on consumer transactions. In one embodiment, an investment fund management system may include a consumer communication device configured to create a payment gateway with a Point of Sales (POS) terminal. The system further includes a portfolio server accessible over a data network. The consumer communication device is configured to execute a process including the steps of intercepting a transaction through the payment gateway; computing an expected return based on the investment of a transaction amount from said transaction; and providing the expected return to the consumer communication device.
