Centralized governance regulatory compliance (C-GRC) system
The present disclosure describes techniques that facilitate a Governance Regulatory Compliance (C-GRC) controller that is configured to dynamically monitor and collate data associated with an agricultural operation for demonstrating compliance with an agricultural compliance plan. The C-GRC controller may act as a centralized server that dynamically monitors the cycle of agricultural activities for an agricultural product and in doing so, automates the governance of an agricultural compliance plan across a plurality of entities that are each responsible for one or more agricultural activities. The C-GRC controller may detect independent interactions conducted between a complying entity and a participating entity. These interactions may be intended to gather information relating to compliance of a pending task. In doing so, the C-GRC controller may update an agricultural compliance plan accordingly. The C-GRC controller may dynamically advance progress through an agricultural compliance plan or dynamically regress progress based on a complying entity retracting compliance.
Preparation of concealed marks with core-shell luminophores for customs security check system and application thereof
Concealed mark preparation with core-shell luminosphores for customs security check system and application thereof, to address that infrared luminescent materials have not been used in senseless customs clearance field, absorption cross sections of infrared luminescent materials currently available are not big enough, and upconversion luminescence intensity thereof is low, consequently, the luminescent marks are not clear enough to recognize marked abnormal luggage, and provide a following solution: step 1: preparing TiQ.sub.2; step 2: preparing Ag@TiO.sub.2 composite nanoparticles; step 3: preparing Ag@TiQ.sub.2@NaYF.sub.4:Yb.sup.3+, Er.sup.3+ luminescent nanoparticles; step 4: making concealed luggage marks. Ag@TiQ.sub.2@NaYF.sub.4:Yb.sup.3+, Er.sup.3+ luminescent nanoparticles according to the present invention has superior luminescent intensity than pure NaYF.sub.4:Yb.sup.3+, Er.sup.3+, and luminescent materials prepared in this method can be disseminated in organic solution such as ethanol and methanol for use in preparing concealed marks to mark susceptible luggage and provides a research direction for senseless, intelligent and safe customs clearance.
Radio tag communication device, radio tag communication method, and image forming apparatus
According to one embodiment, a radio tag communication device includes an antenna configured to transmit an interrogation signal and receive a response signal from a radio tag transmitting the response signal in response to the interrogation signal. A radio tag communication control unit of the device is configured to cause the antenna to repeatedly transmit the interrogation signal from a start time of an object conveyance until a reception strength of the response signal received by the antenna is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold, and then perform writing on the radio tag via the antenna once the reception strength of the response signal received by the antenna is equal to or greater than the predetermined threshold.
Tray for Selling Products in Hotel Rooms
A sales tray for hotel rooms that include a top panel with ten rows of holes when each row has ten holes, a base on which the top panel is assembled, four sensors that detect whether an object is placed over them, nine demarcators that enable the user to demarcate around each sensor a quadrangular area in a size that correspond with a packaging of a specific product, and to demarcate separately around each of said sensors four quadrangular areas in different sizes that correspond with packaging of four different products. The user can associate these four different products with packaging in different sizes to the four rectangular areas, and to associate each sensor to a particular product, by that enabling the user to monitor at the same time a removal of each product.
USER-SPECIFIC DISPENSING SYSTEM
The invention provides a system to physically dispense an item, including tangible items and/or services or features, on-site from a dispenser whereby the item to be dispensed is selected by the system based on user-specific or item-specific information. In an embodiment, the system selects the dispensed item based on both user-specific and item-specific information. In another embodiment the invention comprises a system that activates gaming features in a gaming device based on user-specific information. In another embodiment, the invention comprises a system incorporated into an interactive amusement system to activate features of a playfield based on user-specific information.
ELECTRONIC LOCK, SYSTEM, AND TAKE OVER LOCK MODULE, AND METHOD OF MANAGING THE SAME
A lock module for use with an electronic lock configured to selectively lock a lockable structure includes a communication subsystem configured to be communicatively coupled to a gateway and configured to be communicatively coupled to an electronic lock, wherein the communication subsystem is further configured to send an unlock signal to the electronic lock.
SECURE SMART DOSING SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATED DELIVERY, MEASUREMENT, AND MANAGEMENT FOR PILLS
A smart dosing device includes: a supply pathway having a compartment that is able to house a plurality of discrete doses of a particular substance; at least one sensor that captures identifying information related to the particular substance; a wireless communication module; and at least one security feature that restricts use of the smart dosing device. A method of providing a measured dose using a smart dosing device includes: retrieving a discrete dose from a storage cavity of the smart dosing device; and providing the discrete dose via an outlet port of the smart dosing device. A smart dosing system includes: a smart dosing device having a unique identifier, the smart dosing device including a cartridge housing multiple discrete doses of a substance, the cartridge having a unique cartridge identifier; and a server including a central database that stores usage information related to the smart dosing device, the usage information comprising: the unique identifier and the unique cartridge identifier.
Virtual queue system and method
A system in accordance with present embodiments includes a plurality of wearable devices and a virtual queue control system configured to maintain respective virtual queues for respective attractions and in communication with the plurality of virtual queuing attraction stations. The virtual queue control system is configured to receive communications from the plurality of virtual queuing stations and add guests to the respective virtual queues based on the communications.
Relating welding wire to a power source
Embodiments of systems and methods to relate welding wire to a welding power source are disclosed. One embodiment is a networked system having a server computer. The server computer is configured to receive first data including at least one of an identity or a location of a consumable source of welding wire, and at least one of a weight status, indicating a change in weight, or an energization status, indicating an energization state, of the consumable source of welding wire. The server computer is configured to receive second data including at least one of an identity or a location of a welding power source, and an activation status indicating an activation state of the welding power source. The server computer is configured to match the welding power source to the consumable source of welding wire based on at least the first data and the second data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS
A wearable payment device, such as a finger ring worn by a user, communicates payment data to a payment reader that uses the payment data in order to request a payment transaction. Such wearable payment device may be conveniently carried by and accessible to the user such that utilization of the payment device for the payment transaction is less burdensome for the user, thereby encouraging use of the payment device for payments. Indeed, in some cases, such as when the payment device is implemented as a finger ring or other type of jewelry, the user may be encouraged to carry the payment device in an exposed manner such that it is readily available for the payment transaction without the user having to search in a wallet, pocket, or purse.
