The system includes a vehicle coupling mechanism and a hub. The vehicle coupling mechanism is associated with a vehicle and includes a docking member. The hub includes a station comprising a hub coupling mechanism and a hub component assembly. The hub coupling mechanism includes a receptacle for receiving the docking member. The hub component assembly comprises a locking assembly, charging plungers, and induction sensors. When the receptacle receives the docking member, the charging plungers are moved towards the induction sensors, the locking assembly locks the vehicle in place, and the induction sensors sense a vehicle locked in the station and activate the hub to begin charging the vehicle.

Beacon-Activated Automatic Generation of Scan Targets and Scan Responses
20230153854 · 2023-05-18 ·

In contexts such as in-store customer transactions, a first party operates a terminal comprising a Beacon, an NFC-Engine, and optionally an Optical Scan Engine. A Beacon payload comprising particular data activates a corresponding pre-installed software application on an in-range second party's mobile device. The activated application prepares a customized scan target for subsequent presentation at the terminal. The scan target is a dynamically generated NFC tag, QR Code, or other scan target. The scan target comprises data derived from one or more of location context provided by the Beacon payload, second party ID, and second party transaction guidance. The second party confirms the transaction by presenting their mobile device at the terminal. Optionally, the application prepares a customized payload, broadcast by the mobile device and observed by the terminal prior to the second party's arrival, to optimally configure terminal operation for an upcoming transaction.

DISPLAYING ITEMS OF INTEREST IN AN AUGMENTED REALITY ENVIRONMENT

Computer program products, methods, systems, apparatus, and computing entities are provided for an augmented reality display using an actual image of the item. Additionally, the present disclosure provides for a proportionally dimensioned representation of the item in the augmented reality display. In some aspects, a beacon/tag/sensor-based approach may be used. In some aspects, a marker-based approach may be used.

ACTIVATING AN OUTPUT COMPONENT TO INDICATE AN ORIENTATION OF A NEAR-FIELD COMMUNICATION (NFC)-CAPABLE TRANSACTION CARD
20230153553 · 2023-05-18 ·

A transaction card may monitor an amount of electric current induced in a first near-field communication (NFC) component of a transaction card. Electric current may be induced in the first NFC component when the first NFC component is within an electromagnetic field generated by a second NFC component of a transaction terminal. The transaction card may dynamically activate one or more output components associated with the transaction card based on the amount of electric current induced in the first NFC component. The one or more output components may indicate whether the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal. The transaction card may perform an action related to completing a transaction after determining that the amount of electric current induced in the NFC component satisfies a first threshold. The first threshold may indicate that the transaction card can communicate with the transaction terminal.

EVENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Provided is a user interface for both event generation and participation.

An event management system includes: an API database that stores an event execution management API and a resource management API; an event database that stores an event execution program and log data; an API registration processing unit; an event generation processing unit; an event registration processing unit; and a communication processing unit. The event management system treats a module as a nested scenario; uses a time zone and a field zone, a transition arrow, an icon, and a descriptor; interprets, in a completed chart diagram, a structure of the time zone, field zone information, an inclusion relationship of contents and a descriptor with respect to the time zone, portion arrangement information of contents and the descriptor on another icon, and a connection relationship of a transition arrow; generates an analysis structure to set as a structure unique to a chart and a module; and realizes chart interpretation equivalent to programming in a markup language.

Self checkout system

Systems and methods for is provided for self-checkout at a point-of-sale. The system and method includes a plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) transceivers, an RFID reader, wherein the RFID reader is configured to receive a response with an RFID code from each of a plurality of RFID tags activated simultaneously by at least one of the plurality of radio frequency identification (RFID) transceivers, and decode the RFID code from the response received from each of the RFID tags, and a classifier configured to determine whether each of the plurality of RFID tags is inside or outside a walk-through checkout area inside a store, wherein the system calculates an amount charged to a customer based on the cost of the items identified as within the walk-through checkout area.

Loss prevention using video analytics

Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media that perform the steps of receiving a visual code identifier associated with a transaction of one or more transaction merchandises, receiving a radio frequency identification (RFID) identifier associated with the transaction, analyzing the image, determining at least one of one or more detected merchandises, a number of the one or more detected merchandises, and a price of the one or more detected merchandises based on information in the RFID identifier and the analyzed image, determining a merchandise discrepancy, a number discrepancy, or a price discrepancy, and transmitting, in response to determining the at least one of the merchandise discrepancy, the number discrepancy, or the price discrepancy, an alert.

Wearable data storage and transmission device for processing sensor data

An attachable data system for tracking items includes a microprocessor; a power supply configured to supply power to the microprocessor; a memory communicatively connected to the microprocessor; a Bluetooth communications module; and an NFC module. The NFC module performs operations including establishing an NFC field with an NFC initiator device in response to receiving an NFC signal from the NFC initiator device via the NFC antenna; extracting identifying information from the NFC signal; and storing the identifying information in the NFC memory. The microprocessor is configured to perform microprocessor operations including accessing the identifying information stored in the NFC memory; and causing a transmission of the identifying information using the Bluetooth communications module.

Interactive data system

An interactive data system in which a user, scanning a tag such as a QR-code, is directed to a destination (which may be one of a number of different destinations) which is determined by a profile of the user, which profile is established beforehand. Optionally access to a destination is also determined by an access permission which may be granted to the user. In one example a user, scanning a menu of food and beverage offerings, is directed to a choice of food and beverage which is dependent on the user's likes and dislikes, and dietary and similar factors.
