A visiting destination prediction device includes: a user position information acquiring unit configured to acquire user position information indicating a position of a user; a stationary position deriving unit configured to derive a stationary position of the user on the basis of the acquired user position information; and a visiting POI estimating unit configured to estimate a visiting POI which is a visiting destination of the user on the basis of a relationship between the derived stationary position of the user and a predetermined POI position of a POI which is able to be the visiting destination of the user. The stationary position deriving unit derives the stationary position which is expressed by an area on the basis of an error and a degree of dispersion of a series of pieces of the acquired user position information.

A vehicle driving assist apparatus includes a first unit to set a degree of acceleration suppression to suppress acceleration of a vehicle, a controller to suppress target acceleration of the own vehicle based on the degree of acceleration suppression, a storage to store road map information, an estimator to estimate a vehicle position, a detector to map-match the estimated vehicle position to the road map information and detect whether there is a crossing road ahead of the vehicle, a second setting unit to set, when the detector detects the crossing road, a traveling-prohibited region on an opposite side of the vehicle on the road map information, and a calculator to calculate a reaching distance from the vehicle to the region. The degree of acceleration suppression is set to a higher value as the reaching distance becomes shorter.
POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
A power supply system includes a plurality of charging stations accommodatable under a ground surface. The power supply system comprises a determination unit that determines a power supply facility available for supplying power to a target vehicle, and a transmission unit that transmits, to the target vehicle, guidance information for guiding the target vehicle to the determined charging station by automatic driving. The target vehicle is guided to the available charging station by automatic driving. The user can reach the available charging station without searching for it.

An operation method of an electronic device includes: acquiring a preview video; acquiring location information of the electronic device; acquiring information on at least one POI located in a vicinity; selecting a focus POI among at least one POI; determining first information to be provided to a user for general POIs; determining second information including more information than the first information to be provided to the user for the focus POI; determining a location on a screen on which the preview video in which the information on the at least one POI is to be displayed; and displaying the first information or the second information on the location on the screen on which the determined preview video of all or some of the at least one POI is provided.
Generating textual summary about physical location based on computing interactions pertaining to physical location
Methods and apparatus for determining aspects of locations based on computing interactions of users that pertain to the locations. In some implementations, an aspect of a location may be determined based on comparing a first computing interaction measure for the location to a second measure. The first computing interaction measure may be determined based on a first group of computing interactions that pertain to the location. In some implementations, the second measure may be determined based on a second group of addition computing interactions. In some implementations, a textual summary may be generated automatically based on the first and/or second computing interaction measure, and/or based on the determined aspect.

The present invention relates to a system (1) configured to select a portion of a virtual scenario (S1v,S2v) during the movement of a vehicle (V) within a geographical area of interest (A). Said system (1) is capable of obtaining information associated with the vehicle (V) regarding the position, the rotation with respect to the x, y, z axes of a reference system associated with the vehicle itself, as well as the heading, and applying this information to a virtual geographical area (Av) associated with said geographical area of interest (A), so that each movement of the vehicle (V) in the geographical area of interest (A) corresponds to a respective movement in the virtual geographical area (Av). In this way, the viewing of a virtual scenario (S1V, S2V) changes according to the movement of the vehicle. The present invention relates also to a vehicle (V) comprising said system, as well as to a method for selecting a portion of a virtual scenario during the movement of a vehicle (V) within a geographical area of interest (A) by means of said system.
Optimization of network service based on an existing service
A network system can receive, from a user device of a requesting user, a query related to a first service. If the network system determines that a first service provider is in progress of providing a second service for the requesting user, the network system can identify, based on a service location of the second service, a plurality of entities that provide items available for selection in association with the first service. The network system can further determine whether to select the first service provider to fulfill the request for the first service based on an estimated first service duration associated with the first service and an estimated duration remaining for the second service. The first service duration can be estimated based on respective timing information associated one or more items selected by the requesting user. The network system can update a route for the first service provider.

A controller in a vehicle includes an obtaining unit that obtains facility information on a charging facility that can charge a power storage mounted on the vehicle, the facility information including position information and utility information in association with each other, the position information indicating a position of the charging facility, the utility information indicating an electric utility that manages the charging facility.
