CONTAINER AND TEST KIT
In a container including two accommodation parts each accommodating liquid, mixing of the liquids in a case of moving magnetic particles in the liquid accommodated in one accommodation part to the other accommodation part is suppressed. Provided is a container includes a first accommodation part which accommodates a first liquid containing magnetic particles, a second accommodation part which accommodates separated magnetic particles separated from the first liquid, and a second liquid, and a flow passage which allows the first accommodation part and the second accommodation part to communicate with each other, and through which the separated magnetic particles pass, in which the flow passage has a first staircase part including two or more steps from an inner bottom surface of the first accommodation part on a first accommodation part side.
Article, system, and method for indication of treatment
An article, a system, and a method for indication of treatment are provided. The article comprises a first body, a second body, and a treatment indicator. The first body comprises a first axis, a cavity, a first port, and a second port. The cavity is positioned within the first body and configured to receive the second body. The second body comprises a second axis, a chamber, a third port, and a fourth port. The article is configured to move between a first configuration and a second configuration. In the first configuration, the first port is aligned with the third port to form a fluid pathway to the chamber, and the second port is aligned with the fourth port to form a fluid pathway to the chamber. In the second configuration, the first port is misaligned with the third port, and the second port is misaligned with the fourth port.
Toilet with sensor for detecting analytical consumable
An analytical toilet is disclosed. The toilet includes a bowl for receiving excreta, a mechanism that uses a consumable for analyzing a sample of excreta, a storage structure for storing the consumable, a sensor that detects at least one property of the consumable, and a processor that generates an alert when the property is outside a predetermined parameter. The property the sensor detects can be used to determine at least one of the identity of the consumable, the quantity or supply of the consumable, or a property related to the suitability of the consumable.
SYSTEM FOR CONDUCTING URINALYSIS
A system for conducting urinalysis of urine is provided. The system includes a housing mountable on a urination device defining urination area; a dispenser mounted in the housing and being configured for holding a plurality of urine test strips (hereinafter “UTS”). Each one of the UTS includes at least one reacting area configured for a chemical reaction with a substance in the urine. The system further includes a detector configured for detecting at least one property of the reacting area and a shifting mechanism configured for extracting one UTS from the dispenser and moving the UTS to a urination position in which the UTS is disposed above the urination area, such that the reacting area is disposed along a urine path.
GLYCATED HEMOGLOBIN MEASUREMENT KIT
A glycated hemoglobin measurement kit including a reagent container, a cleaning solution, and a container holder. The reagent container has a cylindrical shape opened at opposite sides and includes a barrier membrane that blocks an opening at one side and forms a reagent storage part for a reagent for glycated hemoglobin measurement. The cleaning solution container has a cylindrical shape opened at opposite sides and includes an auxiliary barrier membrane that blocks an opening at one side and forms a cleaning solution storage part for a cleaning solution that cleans a reaction solution in which the blood and the reagent are mixed and react with each other. The container holder includes an attachment/detachment part from which a measurement strip is detachable and a measurement hole through which one area of the measurement strip attached to the attachment/detachment part is exposed.
METHOD FOR LATERAL FLOW IMMUNOASSAY
The present disclosure relates to a novel method for lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) by utilizing plasmonic enhancement strategy. More specifically, the present disclosure provides a plasmonic enhanced lateral flow sensor (pLFS) concept by introducing a liposome-based amplification of the colorimetric signals on the lateral flow platform for ultrasensitive detection of pathogens.
KIOSK TYPE URINE ANALYZER AND HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM USING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a kiosk type urine analyzer and a health monitoring system using the same and relates to a kiosk type urine analyzer capable of analyzing urine of a user in an unmanned manner to provide an analysis result and monitoring health of the user through the analysis result, and a health monitoring system using the same.
Method of Detecting the Presence of an Analyte in a Sample
A test strip for paper based assay, the test strip comprising a substrate addition zone for receiving a substrate and a test zone, the test zone comprising a capture agent, wherein the substrate addition zone is located upstream of the test zone. The invention also relates to a paper-based enzyme assay comprising a test strip of the invention and methods of detecting the presence of an analyte in a sample using a test strip of the invention.
HEMOLYSIS DETECTION BLOOD TESTING DEVICE
A blood testing assembly and method are described. In the method, a blood testing device having a plasma separation membrane and a reagent is connected to a syringe containing blood having blood cells and plasma. A blood sample of the blood is passed from the syringe through a plasma separation membrane within the blood testing device to separate the plasma from the blood cells. A reagent is saturated with the plasma, and then the reagent is colorimetrically analyzed to determine a degree of hemolysis within the blood sample.
FOOD TESTER
A food tester including at least one of, a test strip, a food wrapper, a food box or carton, and a cooking or eating utensil. A food grade testing composition disposed in at least one of said test strip, food wrapper, food box or carton, and cooking or eating utensil. Wherein said food tester is configured to change colors, including but not limited to, a green color if at least one of plant cell walls, plastids, and large central vacuoles is present and wherein said food tester is configured to change colors, including but not limited to, green color to a red color if at least one of said plant cell walls, plastids, and large central vacuole is absent.
