APPARATUS FOR DETECTING ANALYTE IN A LIQUID SAMPLE AND METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides an apparatus for detecting the presence or absence of an analyte in liquid sample, including: a collection chamber, including an opening for collecting a liquid sample; a testing element for testing the analyte in liquid sample; and a cover for covering the opening of the collection chamber; wherein the apparatus further includes a prompting device for prompting if the cover is covered to a specified location, and the prompting device shall at least includes a first element and a second element, the first element is in contact with the second element, wherein one element vibrates to produce a sound. In some preferred ways, the second element produces friction with the first element, to cause one of the elements to generate vibrations. The apparatus in the present invention can allow the prompting sound to be clear and loud.
AMPHETAMINE CARBAMATE COMPOUNDS AND METHODS
Described herein are the amphetamine-related compounds amphetamine carbamate (amphetammonium-amphetacarbamate) and amphetacarbamate, methods of making them, methods for detecting or quantitatively determining the amount of amphetacarbamate or amphetamine carbamate in a compositions, and ion chromatography columns useful in such methods.
Device and a method for measurements by Raman spectroscopy
A device for detection of a substance by Raman spectroscopy comprises a holder (40) with an area (41) adapted for receiving a sample of the substance and a vibration engine (42). The vibration engine (42) is configured to move the holder (40) in a three-dimensional motion when the area (41) with the substance is arranged in front of a focusing lens (FL) of the spectrometer to provide a large actual sampling area and hence to achieve a strong signal at detection. The device comprises a SERS surface (30) arranged at the area (41) of the holder (40) for adsorption of the sample of the substance. A method for detection of a substance by use of the device is also presented.
DETECTION APPARATUS FOR DETECTING ANALYTE IN A LIQUID SAMPLE AND METHOD THEREOF
The present invention discloses a detection apparatus, comprising a base layer, wherein the base layer comprises a groove for containing a testing element and a sample chamber for collecting a fluid sample. The detection apparatus can achieve fast, efficient and accurate detection of analytes in liquid samples, make operators to perform testing conveniently and freely, without causing incorrect results. In some preferred modes, the sample chamber comprises a liquid channel.
METHOD FOR TESTING BODY FLUIDS
The present invention provides devices, test strip and methods for testing breastmilk and providing feedback for improving the quality thereof.
Apparatus for collecting and detecting an analyte in a fluid sample
The present invention provides an apparatus for detecting an analyte in a fluid sample, comprising a fluid sample collection element, comprising a fluid sample collection element that comprises an absorbing element; a carrier for accommodating a testing element; and a chamber for accommodating a testing element carrier, wherein the testing element carrier is located in the chamber, and the carrier further comprises an extrusion structure that is in contact with the absorbing element and extrudes the absorbing element.
POINT-OF-COLLECTION GRAPHENE-BASED TOXICOLOGY SENSOR
In one aspect, a sensor for detecting a drug of abuse (DOA) in a sample is disclosed. In some embodiments, the sensor includes a graphene layer, a plurality of binding agents, which bind to the DOA, coupled to said graphene layer to generate a functionalized graphene layer, and a plurality of electrical conductors electrically coupled to said functionalized graphene layer for measuring an electrical property of said functionalized graphene layer. While in some embodiments, such binding agents are monoclonal antibodies, in other embodiments they are polyclonal antibodies.
COLORIMETRIC DRUG TEST STRIP USING POROUS SUPPORT MATERIAL
A test strip includes a substantially transparent substrate and one or more colorimetric test spots on the transparent substrate. Each colorimetric test spot has one or more sensing chemicals chemically attached onto a porous support material. The porous support material has at least one exposed surface configured to absorb a body fluid. The one or more sensing chemicals are configured to change a color in response to a presence of a target drug in the body fluid.
HOMOGENEOUS ENZYME IMMUNOASSAY FOR KERATINIZED STRUCTURES
This disclosure relates to methods and kits for determining the presence and/or amount of one or more analytes in a keratinized structure (e.g., hair) sample.
Rapid Method of Forensic Toxicology in Post-Mortem Individuals Using Muscle Tissue Testing
The present invention provides a rapid method for forensic drug testing in a post-mortem individual using muscle tissue and fluid associated with the muscle tissue obtained from remains of the post-mortem individual. The method comprises obtaining muscle tissue and associated fluid from a post-mortem individual, collecting the fluid associated with the muscle tissue, analyzing the fluid associated with the muscle tissue to detect and quantify one or more non-naturally occurring drugs in the post-mortem individual, and identifying the one or more non-naturally occurring drugs in the post-mortem individual. The detection and quantification of non-naturally occurring drugs in muscle tissue and associated fluid is surprisingly faster than detection and quantification of the non-naturally occurring drugs in muscle tissue obtained from the same post-mortem individual and prepared as muscle tissue homogenates using the LC-MS/MS method, with results obtained in as soon as three hours.
