The present invention provides a backlight module and a display device. The present invention splices a substrate on a reflection plate. The reflection layer can effectively replace the reflection plate in function because of a high reflectivity of the reflection layer on the spliced portion between the substrate and the reflection plate, which guarantees extension of light and lowers requirement for assembling precision.

An illumination device is disclosed that may constitute a partition wall or the like having an impact in a bright and brilliant space. An illumination device according to an embodiment may include: a plurality of light guide plate units each including a light guide plate and an LED substrate; and a base to which the plurality of light guide plate units are attached so as to be laid over the base. The attachment surface of the base is divided into sections for attaching the light guide plate units so as to lay the light guide plate units over the base and each section is provided with an IC board for driving the corresponding LED substrate and snap-fit engagement portions for fixing the light guide plate unit to the base.

A heat dissipating device includes a bottom assembly, a first light guide positioned on the bottom assembly, a first light assembly positioned on the first light guide, and an outer cover positioned on the bottom assembly and at least partially enclosing the bottom assembly, the first light guide, and the first light assembly. The outer cover defines a first opening on a top surface thereof, at least a portion of the first light guide is received in the first opening, and light from the first light assembly is emitted from the heat dissipating device through the exposed portion of the first light guide.

A backlight module and a displaying device. The backlight module comprises a backplane, a reflector plate and a light guide plate that are disposed in sequence, a light strip disposed on a first side of the light guide plate, and a plurality of positioning assemblies disposed at two ends of the first side of the light guide plate respectively, wherein each light guide assembly comprises a positioning element disposed on the backplane and a guide surface disposed at a corner of the first side of the light guide plate. The positioning assemblies are disposed on the first side, where the light strip is located, of the light guide plate, such that the light guide plate will be driven to move away from support members under a reactive force of the positioning elements when expanding.

A lighting module is provided for a refrigeration appliance. The lighting module includes: a housing, provided with a light outlet; a light source, located in the housing; a light guide plate, adapted to guide light from the light source toward the light outlet; and an elastic member, adapted to deform to maintain a position of the light guide plate with respect to the light source and/or the light outlet.

A backlight module and a display device are provided, and the backlight module includes a light guide plate, a plurality of light-emitting components, and a frame. The light guide plate includes a first side, a second side, and two third sides. The light-emitting components are disposed on the first side, and light generated from the light-emitting components enters the light guide plate from the first side. The frame covers the second side and the third sides and includes an opening and at least one buffer portion. The light-emitting components are disposed in the opening, and the buffer portion is disposed on a side of the opening and contacts the light guide plate.

A manipulator, comprises a light source that emits light; and an operation member rotationally operatable around an axis by a user, the operation member having a substantially disk shape and including a light guide member that guides light incident from the light source and emits the light to an outside in radical directions of the substantially disk shape from an outer peripheral portion thereof, and a reflecting member reflecting a portion of the light guided by the light guide member in a direction perpendicular to the radial directions at said outer peripheral portion.

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a liquid crystal panel and an illumination device. The illumination device includes a first light guide having a first opening and facing the liquid crystal panel, a first light source facing the first light guide, a second light guide provided in the first opening and having a first main surface facing the liquid crystal panel, a second main surface, and a side surface, a second light source having a light emitting surface facing the side surface, and a wavelength conversion element located between the side surface and the light emitting surface, and configured to convert a wavelength of light from the second light source.

A light fixture for waveguided ambient light is described herein. In one embodiment, the light fixture includes an LED light source for emitting light rays, a waveguide optically coupled to the LED light source to receive and guide the emitted light rays from a proximal end of the waveguide to a distal end of the waveguide, a first indirect lighting surface configured to receive a first portion of the emitted light rays and reflect the first portion at a first distribution to produce a first ambient light source, and a second indirect lighting surface configured to receive a second portion of the emitted light rays and reflect the second portion at a second distribution to produce a second ambient light source.

The light source device includes a rear vessel, a light source substrate, a plurality of light-emitting diodes, a front cover, and a light diffuser. The rear vessel has a bottom plate and a first lower side plate connected to the bottom plate. The light source substrate is accommodated in the rear vessel. The plurality of light-emitting diodes is located over the light source substrate. The front cover has an upper plate and a first upper side plate connected to the upper plate, is located over the rear vessel, and accommodates the rear vessel. The light diffuser is accommodated in the front cover, is located over the plurality of light-emitting diodes, and is spaced away from the plurality of light-emitting diodes. The first lower side plate and the first upper side plate each have a notch.
