TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE AND ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPER
A toner for developing an electrostatic charge image contains toner particles that contain binder resins including an amorphous resin and a crystalline resin and also contain an oligomer. The molecular weight distribution curve of the toner measured by gel permeation chromatography has its highest peak in a range of molecular weights from 5000 to 50000 and a peak or shoulder in a range of molecular weights from 500 to 5000. In a cross-sectional observation of the toner particles, domains of the crystalline resin have an average length of major axis of 100 nm or more and 1000 nm or less.

A toner for electrophotography containing a resin binder containing a crystalline resin and an amorphous resin, and a releasing agent, wherein the crystalline resin contains a crystalline composite resin C containing a polycondensation resin component and a styrenic resin component, wherein the polycondensation resin component is obtained by polycondensing a specified alcohol component and a specified carboxylic acid component, and wherein the amorphous resin contains an amorphous composite resin AC containing a polycondensation resin component and a styrenic resin component, wherein the polycondensation resin component is obtained by polycondensing an alcohol component and a specified carboxylic acid component, and an amorphous polyester AP obtained by polycondensing an alcohol component and a specified carboxylic acid component, wherein a softening point of the amorphous polyester AP is higher than a softening point of the amorphous composite resin AC, wherein a difference in softening points between the amorphous polyester AP and the amorphous composite resin AC is 10° C. or more and 50° C. or less. The toner for electrophotography of the present invention is suitably used in development of latent images or the like which is formed in, for example, electrostatic development method, electrostatic recording method, electrostatic printing method or the like.

Provided is a toner comprising a toner particle containing a binder resin, a resin A, and a pigment, wherein the resin A has a pKa of at least 6.0 and not more than 9.0, and also has a hydrophobic parameter HPA of at least 0.65 and not more than 0.95.

A toner includes: a crystalline polyester resin; and a partially hydrogenated petroleum resin. A hydrogenation rate of the partially hydrogenated petroleum resin is from 30% through 70%. An amount of the partially hydrogenated petroleum resin relative to the toner is from 1% by mass through 15% by mass.

Provided is toner which has good low-temperature fixability, shelf stability and hot offset resistance, and which suppresses a decrease in glossiness of an image. The toner comprising colored resin particles containing a binder resin, a colorant, a softening agent and a charge control agent, and an external additive, wherein a glass transition temperature (Tg) specified from a temperature dependence curve of a loss tangent (tan δ) obtained by dynamic viscoelastic measurement of the toner, is 50° C. or more and less than 90° C.; the loss tangent (tan δ) at the glass transition temperature (Tg) is 1.70 or less; in a temperature range of 90° C. or more and 160° C. or less, a lowest temperature (Ta) with a loss tangent of 1.50 is more than 95° C. and less than 145° C.; and a storage elastic modulus (G′) at the lowest temperature (Ta) is less than 56000 Pa.

TONER PRODUCTION METHOD
A method for producing a toner, including aggregating and coalescing resin particles and colorant particles in an aqueous medium. The resin particles contain, in the same or different particles, an amorphous polyester-based resin which is a polycondensate of an alcohol component containing an aromatic alcohol and a carboxylic acid component, and a crystalline polyester resin. The colorant particles contain a colorant and an addition polymer of a raw material monomer containing an addition-polymerizing monomer having an aromatic group. A ratio by mass of the colorant to the addition polymer in the colorant particles is 50/50 or more and 95/5 or less.
