A toner comprising a toner particle containing a binder resin, the storage elastic modulus Gt (150) of the toner at 150 C. is at least 1.010.sup.4 Pa, the binder resin contains a polymer A having a first monomer unit derived from a first polymerizable monomer and a second monomer unit derived from a second polymerizable monomer different from the first polymerizable monomer, the first polymerizable monomer is selected from specific (meth)acrylic acid esters, the contents of the first monomer unit and second monomer unit in the polymer A are within specific ranges, and the SP values of the first monomer unit and second monomer unit are within specific ranges.
MAGNETIC TONER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MAGNETIC TONER
Provided is a magnetic toner having a toner particle containing a binder resin and a magnetic body, wherein the binder resin contains a polymer A having a first monomer unit and a second monomer unit, the first polymerizable monomer is at least one selected from the group consisting of the (meth)acrylic acid esters having C.sub.18-36 alkyl groups, a content of the first monomer unit and a content of the second monomer unit based on the total moles of all monomer units in the polymer A are respectively 5.0 to 60.0 mol % and 20.0 to 95.0 mol %, and assuming that an SP value of the first monomer unit and the second monomer unit are taken as SP.sub.11 (J/cm.sup.3).sup.0.5 and SP.sub.21(J/cm.sup.3).sup.0.5, respectively, 3.00(SP.sub.21SP.sub.11)25.00 is satisfied, and an oil absorption of the magnetic body is 5 to 40 ml/100 g.
TWO-COMPONENT DEVELOPER
Provided is a two-component developer has a toner including a toner particle including a binder resin, and a magnetic carrier, wherein the binder resin includes a polymer A having a first monomer unit derived from a first polymerizable monomer, and a second monomer unit derived from a second polymerizable monomer different from the first polymerizable monomer, the first polymerizable monomer is a specific (meth)acrylic acid ester, a content and an SP value of the first and second monomer units in the polymer A fall within respective specific ranges, the magnetic carrier has a magnetic core and a coating resin of the surface of the magnetic core, the coating resin includes a polymer B having monomer units (a) and (b), each SP value of the monomer units (a) and (b) is a specific value.
Electrophotographic toner binder, and toner composition
The present invention provides an electrophotographic toner binder containing, as a main component, a polymer whose constituent monomer is a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, the electrophotographic toner binder being excellent in low-temperature fixability, hot-offset resistance, and storage stability. The present invention provides an electrophotographic toner binder containing a polymer (A) containing a monomer (a) and a monomer (x) different from the monomer (a) as essential constituent monomers, wherein the monomer (a) is a (meth)acrylate having a C18-C36 acyclic hydrocarbon group, the polymer (A) has an acid value of 40 or less, and the polymer (A) satisfies the following relational expression (1):

Organic additives and compositions containing the same
Compositions are provided which may comprise a plurality of organic additive particles, the particles comprising a polymerization product of reactants comprising a dioxane/dioxolane monomer and a vinyl co-monomer, wherein the dioxane/dioxolane monomer is an ester of (meth)acrylic acid with an alcohol comprising a dioxane moiety, an ester of (meth)acrylic acid with an alcohol comprising a dioxolane moiety, or both. Toner and additive manufacturing compositions comprising the organic additive particles are also provided.
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER BINDER, AND TONER COMPOSITION
The present invention provides an electrophotographic toner binder containing, as a main component, a polymer whose constituent monomer is a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond, the electrophotographic toner binder being excellent in low-temperature fixability, hot-offset resistance, and storage stability. The present invention provides an electrophotographic toner binder containing a polymer (A) containing a monomer (a) and a monomer (x) different from the monomer (a) as essential constituent monomers, wherein the monomer (a) is a (meth)acrylate having a C18-C36 acyclic hydrocarbon group, the polymer (A) has an acid value of 40 or less, and the polymer (A) satisfies the following relational expression (1):

wherein SP(a) is the SP value of a structural unit derived from the monomer (a) constituting the polymer (A); and

PRINTING TONER CONTAINING SUBLIMABLE DYE AND TWO COMPONENT DEVELOPER INCLUDING SAME
The problem is solved by a printing toner containing sublimable dye including: toner base particles at least including a binder resin, a disperse dye, and a mold release agent; and an external additive externally added to surfaces of the toner base particles, in which the toner base particles include the binder resin in a proportion of 50% to 95% by mass in the toner base particles, and include, as the binder resin, an aliphatic polyester-based resin in a proportion of 20% to 70% by mass in the toner base particles; and the disperse dye is a sublimable dye.
Toner compositions and surface polymeric additives
The present disclosure provides polymeric composition for use with toner particles. The polymeric composition of the present disclosure includes a silicone-polyether copolymer and a polymeric additive, wherein the silicone-polyether copolymer comprising a polysiloxane unit and a polyether unit, and the polymeric additive comprising a copolymer possessing at least one monomer having a high carbon to oxygen ratio, a monomer having more than one vinyl group, and at least one amine-functional monomer. The present disclosure also provides method of making thereof.
IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Provided is an image forming method using an electrostatic image developing toner containing: toner mother particles including a binder resin; and an external additive, wherein the binder resin contains a vinyl resin in an amount of 40 mass % or more with respect to the total amount of the binder resin, the image forming method including a step of: forming an image so that an image surface resistance value at 70 C. by a temperature change method of the formed image is set to be 510.sup.13 or less.
Coating compositions for forming toner coatings
The present invention provides coating compositions for forming a toner coating on a substrate containing a polymer comprising: (a) a N-vinyl amide monomer, (b) a vinyl acetate monomer, and (c) a solvent. The coating compositions may further comprise an additional hydrophobic monomer moiety. The present invention further provides coating compositions for forming a toner coating on a substrate containing a polymer comprising: (a) a N-vinyl amide monomer, (b) a styrene monomer, and (c) a solvent. The present invention further provides toner substrates coated with the coating compositions.
