Provided is a toner for developing electrostatic images containing a toner particle. The toner particle contains a binder resin and a release agent. The binder resin contains a vinyl resin component and a crystalline polyester resin component. The vinyl resin component has a structural unit derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer represented by Formula (1):

In Formula (1), R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and R.sub.2 represents an alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms. The crystalline polyester resin component satisfies Formula (2):

In Formula (2), C.sub.alcohol represents the number of carbon atoms of the main chain of a structural unit derived from a polyhydric alcohol and C.sub.acid represents the number of carbon atoms of the main chain of a structural unit derived from a polyvalent carboxylic acid.

TONER

Provided is a toner including toner particles each containing an amorphous polyester resin and a wax, in which: the surface of each of the toner particles has a coating layer; and the coating layer contains one or more kinds of olefin-based copolymers each having a specific ester moiety.

Toner, developing device, and process cartridge

A toner is provided. The toner includes toner particles each including a binder resin and a release agent. From 20% to 80% by number of the toner particles satisfy the following formula (1) and (2):

Toner

A toner includes a toner particle containing a resin component. The resin component contains an ester group-containing olefin copolymer and an acid group-containing olefin copolymer. For example, the ester group-containing olefin copolymer is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and the acid group-containing olefin copolymer is an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer. The acid group-containing olefin copolymer has an acid value of 50 to 300 mg KOH/g. The content of the ester group-containing olefin copolymer in the resin component is 50 mass % or more based on the total mass of the resin component. The content of the unit derived from the vinyl acetate is 3 mass % or more and 35 mass % or less based on the total mass of the ester group-containing olefin copolymer.

TONER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING TONER

A toner comprising a toner particle including a resin component, wherein the resin component includes an olefin resin and an olefin copolymer including a hydroxyl group, the olefin resin has a specific monomer unit Y1, the olefin copolymer including a hydroxyl group has a specific monomer unit Z1 and Z2, a hydroxyl value of the olefin resin is not more than 10 mg KOH/g, a hydroxyl value of the olefin copolymer including a hydroxyl group is at least 20 mg KOH/g and not more than 250 mg KOH/g, and a content of the olefin resin in the resin component is more than 50 mass % with respect to a total mass of the resin component.

An electrostatic charge image developing toner includes toner particles containing a binder resin, and an external additive including silica particles having a compression aggregation degree is from 60% to 95% and a particle compression ratio is from 0.20 to 0.40, and resin particles containing a polymer obtained by polymerizing a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer.

TONER, DEVELOPING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS

A toner comprising a toner particle containing a binder resin, a colorant, an amorphous polyester, and a crystalline polyester, wherein the binder resin contains a vinyl resin; the amorphous polyester has a monomer unit derived from a linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 6 to 12 carbons, and a monomer unit derived from a dialcohol; the content of the monomer unit derived from a linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 6 to 12 carbons is 10 to 50 mol % with reference to the total monomer units derived from a carboxylic acid in the amorphous polyester; and in a cross section of the toner particle, the vinyl resin constitutes a matrix and the amorphous polyester constitutes domains, and the crystalline polyester is present in the interior of the domains.

Pressure-responsive particles, cartridge, apparatus for manufacturing printed matter, method for manufacturing printed matter, and printed matter

Pressure-responsive particles include pressure-responsive base particles and resin particles, in which the pressure-responsive base particles contain a styrene-based resin that contains styrene and other vinyl monomers as polymerization components and a (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin that contains at least two kinds of (meth)acrylic acid esters as polymerization components, a ratio of a mass of the (meth)acrylic acid esters to a total mass of polymerization components is 90% by mass or more in the (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin, the pressure-responsive particles have at least two glass transition temperatures, a difference between a lowest glass transition temperature and a highest glass transition temperature is 30 C. or higher, and a ratio of a mass of the resin particles to a total mass of the pressure-responsive particles is 0.05% by mass or more and 2.0% by mass or less.
