Secure and Anonymized Authentication
An embodiment may involve receiving, by a computing system, a message from a wireless service provider system. The computing system may include one or more computing devices located, e.g., in the trusted cloud. The message may contain a service-provider-based identity of a client device, an indication that the service-provider-based identity has been authenticated by the wireless service provider, and a code that the client device obtained from a remote machine proximate to the client device. The computing system may generate an anonymized identity of the client device based on the service-provider-based identity. The computing system may verify that a task associated with the code is within the authorized capabilities of the anonymized identity. Possibly based on the code (and perhaps other information as well), the computing system may transmit an instruction to the remote machine. The instruction may direct the remote machine to perform the task.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TOKEN BASED EMPLOYEE CORPORATE CARDS
A message is received from an organization. The message identifies an individual who is a member of the organization and a mobile device used by the identified individual. A payment token is provisioned to the identified mobile device. The payment token is associated with a primary account number (PAN) assigned to the organization.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SECURELY COMMUNICATING TRANSACTION INFORMATION USING ONE OR COMBINATION OF MULTIPLE CHANNELS
Embodiments herein provide a method and system for communicating transaction information through an application on a user terminal without a data connection using one or combination of multiple channels. The method includes receiving a payment pre-processing request from the user terminal through one or more of a voice channel or SMS or USSD. The method includes receiving encrypted transaction information through SMS, USSD and voice channel or through one or more of the SMS, the USSD and the voice channel. The transaction information is communicated to the server without using dual tone multi frequency (DTMF). The method includes extracting transaction information by decrypting the transaction information. In an embodiment, the server extracts the transaction information by applying suitable decryption techniques. The method includes communicating the payment pre-processing request to the payment gateway a financial institution, a non-financial institution or the like. The method includes indicating the payment status to the user terminal.
Telephone call purchase with payment using mobile payment device
A mobile payment system including a merchant, a mobile device having mobile payment capability, a server couplable to a payment network, and a merchant computing device couplable to the server. A purchase request is made of the merchant and a purchase identification is associated with the purchase. The purchase information is entered into the merchant computing device and the purchase identification is sent to the server with payment information. Mobile payment communication is established between the mobile device and the server using the purchase identification and a mobile payment for the purchase is made from the mobile device to a payment network through the server.
Merchant managed method and system for text-to-pay subscriptions at a billing server
A subscription identifier is communicated between the billing server and subscription server. The billing server receives a subscription identifier text message from the user device. The billing server identifies a carrier server from the subscription identifier text message. The billing server receives an authorization text message from the user device in response to an authorization request text message and charges an account of the carrier server that has been identified. If the charge has been successful, then the billing server transmits a renewal notification text message to the subscription server. The subscription server updates an account having the subscription identifier to reflect a new expiration.
Multi-factor authentication providing a credential via a contactless card for secure messaging
Exemplary embodiments may use a contactless card as a secondary form of authentication in a multi-factor authentication for a secure messaging service. The recipient party of a request to initiate a messaging service session (such as a server computing device) may be programmed to use the phone number of the originating device to look up records regarding an identity of a party and their associated phone number as a primary credential and then may require an authentication credential originating from the contactless card as a secondary credential for the initiating party. In some instances, the credential originating from the contactless card is a onetime password that is valid only for a period of time. The recipient party determines whether the onetime password is valid. If both credentials are valid, a secure messaging session may be initiated with the initiating party.
PERSONAL CONTACTLESS-TIP-REGISTERING DEVICE
A personal contactless-tip-registering device 10 for registering a contactless tip via a contactless-payment device. The device includes a body 12, a user fastener 15, an on-board power source 20, an electronic wireless reader 22, a processor 24, a data storage device 26, a wireless transmitter 28, and an indicator 14 on the body 12. The data storage device 26 includes pre-set and non-adjustable tip data which specifies a pre-set and non-adjustable tip amount, and the indicator 14 indicates the pre-set tip amount
ELECTRONIC METHOD FOR INSTANTLY CREATING AN ACCOUNT WITH A SERVICE PROVIDER DURING POINT OF SALE
Systems and processes are provided for instantly creating a user account with a payment service provider at a point of sale. The system and processes may include a computerized payment processing system for receiving personally identifiable information from a payment card of a customer provided at a merchant terminal and creating a user account based on the personally identifiable information. A personal identification number (PIN) associated with the user account may be generated and electronically delivered to the customer via an electronic messaging system for verification.
FINANCIAL TRANSACTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A computer-implemented method for facilitating the transfer of funds from a sending account to a receiving account, the method including the steps of: receiving first data from a first device, the first data including: first transaction data representing a first portion of information required to transfer the funds; and second device identification data uniquely identifying a second device; transmitting request data to the second device identified by the second device identification data, at least a portion of the request data being derived from the first data; receiving from the second device second transaction data representing a second portion of the information required to transfer the funds; and generating combined transaction data from the first transaction data and second transaction data for subsequent transmission to a transaction processor.
Mobile computing device network of multi-vendor, multi-interface computers
An apparatus 10, and system 70 may be embodied as an article 70 or method implementing transactions between a central or “core” application 72, a fulfillment application 96 at a venue, and a wireless communication application 84, 86 hosted on a computing device 10, such as a cell phone, of an attendee at an event at that venue. Customers may sign up online, through various types of web applications 88 or dedicated applications 92, to receive information, such as menus, catalogs, or the like of available products to be at the event. The core application 72 may manage a database 74 of records of customers, products, and fulfilment locations, and may send to fulfilment locations instructions to dispatch “runners” to deliver products to seat locations of customers ordering through wireless computer devices 12 at a venue.
