Systems and Methods for Provisioning Transaction Data to Mobile Communications Devices
The system comprises approving a credit application during a single http session, transmitting an encoded secure token to a web-client participating in the http session, receiving from the mobile communications device the secure token, and transmitting the transaction account data to the mobile communications device, in response to the receiving the secure token. The system may further comprise the mobile communications device decoding the secure token.
Method and system for distribution of advertisements to mobile devices prompted by aural sound stimulus
A method for distributing context-based data using an acoustic receiving device and a high frequency analog acoustic signal is disclosed. The acoustic receiving device a high frequency analog acoustic signal. A high frequency analog acoustic signal is of a frequency of at least 21,000 Hz and contains encoded data. The high frequency analog acoustic signal is converted to a digital acoustic signal and then analyzed to obtain the encoded data. The data is decoded to obtain information, and the information is then displayed on the acoustic receiving device.
REVERSE TERMINAL PAYMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An application executed on a user device receives a request to initiate a transaction with an entity associated with a device implemented at a point-of-sale. The application detects that the user device is proximate to the device and detects an audial tone that encodes information corresponding to an entity associated with the device. The application transmits a request to transfer a payment to the entity, wherein the request includes the information and a payment amount for the payment. When the request is received by a payment processing system, the payment processing system transfers the payment to the entity and provides a confirmation for the payment. The application broadcasts a confirmation audial tone that encodes the confirmation. When the confirmation audial tone is received at the device, the device demodulates the confirmation audial tone to provide the confirmation to the entity.
System, method, and apparatus for automatically encoding data in an electronic communication
Provided is a computer-implemented method for automatically encoding data in an electronic communication. The method includes the steps of receiving an electronic communication including textual data, the textual data including account data inputted with a microphone and processed with a speech recognition system, in response to receiving the electronic communication, automatically processing the textual data, identifying the account data based on processing the textual data, generating at least one token, wherein the at least one token is unique to the account data, generating a modified electronic communication based at least partially on the textual data and the at least one token, the modified electronic communication comprising the at least one token, and communicating the modified electronic communication to a recipient system. A system and computer program product for automatically encoding data in an electronic communication are also disclosed.
Energy harvesting bidirectional audio interface
A payment card reader connected to an audio port of a mobile computing device may include a card interface, the card interface configured to read data from a payment card; a TRRS connector to couple the payment card reader with the mobile computing device; and an audio interface circuit coupled with the TRRS connector. The audio interface circuit may include a communication circuit configured to transmit data to and receive data from the mobile computing device via the TRRS connector and an energy harvesting circuit configured to receive an audio signal via the TRRS connector, to harvest energy from the audio signal, and to provide energy to other components of the card reader.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VOICE AUTHENTICATED DISTRIBUTION OF PAYMENT CREDENTIALS
A method for voice-initiated provisioning of payment credentials includes: storing, in a memory of a computing device, at least payment credentials associated with a transaction account and authentication data; receiving, by an audio receiving device of the computing device, a first voice message; determining, by a first application program of the computing device, that the first voice message corresponds to an instruction; electronically transmitting, by the first application program of the computing device, a second voice message to a second application program of the computing device; authenticating, by the second application program of the computing device, the second voice message based on the stored authentication data; and electronically transmitting, by a transmitting device of the computing device, the payment credentials to a point of sale device.
METHOD FOR VOICE TAGGING AN ELECTRONIC RECEIPT ACQUIRED AFTER A TRANSACTION
A method for characterization of an electronic receipt acquired through a receipt capture process to a host computing device is provided, the capture process using image capture, scan capture, or electronic capture features leveraged through SW extension of a wallet or money pay application running on a host computing device functioning as a transaction device or as a host device to a transaction device, the receipt accounting for a transaction from a point of sale (POS) terminal or network node.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SECURELY COMMUNICATING TRANSACTION INFORMATION USING ONE OR COMBINATION OF MULTIPLE CHANNELS
Embodiments herein provide a method and system for communicating transaction information through an application on a user terminal without a data connection using one or combination of multiple channels. The method includes receiving a payment pre-processing request from the user terminal through one or more of a voice channel or SMS or USSD. The method includes receiving encrypted transaction information through SMS, USSD and voice channel or through one or more of the SMS, the USSD and the voice channel. The transaction information is communicated to the server without using dual tone multi frequency (DTMF). The method includes extracting transaction information by decrypting the transaction information. In an embodiment, the server extracts the transaction information by applying suitable decryption techniques. The method includes communicating the payment pre-processing request to the payment gateway a financial institution, a non-financial institution or the like. The method includes indicating the payment status to the user terminal.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PERFORMING AN ADVERTISEMENT-BASED ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION
Methods and systems for performing an advertisement-based electronic transaction are provided. According to one aspect, a system for performing an advertisement-based electronic transaction comprises a mobile backend server comprising a network interface, one or more processors, and memory. The mobile backend server receives, from a first electronic device, first information for identifying the user and second information for identifying an advertisement; identifies the user based on the first information; identifies an advertisement based on the second information; identifies a transaction object associated with the identified advertisement; determines transaction information for an electronic transaction involving the identified transaction object; determines payment information for the identified user; and initiates an electronic transaction using the transaction information and payment information. The first electronic device may be a mobile phone that captures the second information by scanning a QR code or by displaying an advertisement that the user clicks, touches, or otherwise selects.
PRODUCT PAYMENT METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING THE SAME
An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device includes a memory, a display, and a processor configured to electrically connect with the memory and the display. The processor is configured to execute a payment application program for performing payment about a product, if receiving a first user input and display a user interface for searching for the product on at least part of a screen where the payment app is executed.
