AMBIENT TRANSACTION SYSTEM

An ambient transaction system is described for facilitating various transactions types between a management system and a connected device over a transaction platform. Based on a variety of different triggering conditions, the transaction platform may establish an integrated session among the transaction platform, the management system, and the connected device. The transaction platform includes integrated logic of the management system such that a presentment layer provided to the connected device by the transaction platform via the integrated session includes features of the management system associated with the transaction type. When the transaction is a payment transaction, the features may include a payment feature through which checkout options may be selected for payment via the connected device. Upon receiving a payment selection from the connected device, the transaction platform may transmit the payment information to a payment processing system, and provide payment confirmation to at least the management system.

LOCATION-BASED CONTROL OF A FUNCTION

In some implementations, a card may receive, from a user device, a location-based configuration message associated with authorizing use of the function. The card may identify, within the location-based configuration message, a set of identifiers associated with one or more base stations of a wireless wide area network. The card may store the set of identifiers in a local data structure of the card. The card may receive, from a base station and via the wireless communication component, a broadcast message that includes a broadcast identifier associated with the base station. The card may determine whether the broadcast identifier is included within the set of identifiers stored in the local data structure. The card may perform an action associated with activating or deactivating the function based on whether the broadcast identifier is included within the set of identifiers.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSACTIONAL DATA ACQUISITION, AGGREGATION, PROCESSING, AND DISSEMINATION IN COORDINATION WITH A PREFERENCE MATCHING ALGORITHM

A method for determining customer lifetime value for a cohort of customers using an incentive system to provide for geographically limited rewards earned for transactions includes tracking payment card transactions between enrolled payment cardholders and enrolled merchants, creating a database of rewards eligible transactions, instructing a virtual payment card issuer to apply the rewards amount for each rewards eligible transaction to an account, receiving transaction authorization requests from the virtual payment card issuer corresponding to enrolled cardholders requesting to spend rewards within their corresponding account, if the transaction is occurring within a prescribed geographic area in which rewards can be spent, transmitting an authorization for the virtual card issuer to complete the transaction using the rewards, an enrolled payment cardholder attribute database, and applying a matching algorithm to the attribute database resulting in prediction based on similarity between one or more attributes with one or more other enrolled payment cardholders.

Ordering content by mobile phone to be played on consumer devices

A system (400), device (101) (202) (401-404) and method are provided to purchase, download and obtain transferable rights to play content using a mobile telephone. In an alternative embodiment, the mobile telephone is used to purchase content, which then is downloaded using other channels, i.e., a broadband using other consumer devices (202) (401-404) and played by these other devices (202) (401-404).

Method for internet user authentication

A computer-implemented method of authenticating the identity of a user is provided, where the user is associated with a computer signature and is in possession of a mobile phone. The method involves obtaining a current geographical location of the mobile phone, determining if the computer signature is associated in a database with a stored geographical location of the phone, and, if the computer signature is associated in the database with a stored geographical location, comparing the stored geographical location to the current geographical location of the phone.

Fraud mitigation using one or more enhanced spatial features

Techniques are provided for fraud mitigation using enhanced spatial features. One method comprises obtaining transaction data associated with a transaction; obtaining a machine learning module trained using training transaction data for multiple geographic areas to learn a correlation of the training transaction data with fraudulent activity for each geographic area; extracting a transaction address from the transaction data; determining a given geographic area for the transaction using the transaction address; determining values for a predefined spatial feature for a predefined region that includes the transaction address in the given geographic area using a query of an external online data source; applying the determined values for the predefined spatial feature to the machine learning module to obtain an anomaly score for the transaction; and initiating a predefined remedial step and/or a predefined mitigation step when the transaction is determined to be a predefined anomaly based on the anomaly score.

Systems and methods for remote ATM access

A system includes a customer database that stores user information concerning a plurality of customers, a network interface configured to communicate data over a network, and a processing circuit comprising a processor and memory. The memory is structured to store instructions that are executable by the processor and cause the processing circuit to receive an indication that a customer is within a predetermined distance from an automated teller machine (ATM), transmit, responsive to receiving the indication, an authorization signal to a customer computing device associated with the customer, the authorization signal configured to activate an ATM pre-stage function of an application implemented on the customer computing device, receive, by the network interface over the network, customer transaction preferences from the customer computing device, and authorize an ATM transaction at the ATM based on the received customer transaction preferences.

An information processing apparatus related to the present example embodiment comprising: an acquisition unit for acquiring visitor registration information of a person permitted to enter a management area by a first biometrics authentication; and a control unit for performing a second biometrics authentication for a predetermined transaction in the management area using the visitor registration information.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DATA SECURITY

A method comprises: monitoring a data stream comprising a plurality of data events; identifying a data pattern comprising one or more of the plurality of data events; determining that at least one of the data events comprising the data pattern supports virtual card generation; determining that the at least one of the data events comprising the data pattern is performed using a physical card number at a geolocation; determining that at least one virtual number has been associated with profile data associated with a user; transmitting a notification comprising a request to generate a virtual number; and upon receipt of an approval of the request, executing a script to generate the virtual number and associate the virtual number with the geolocation.
