METHOD FOR PROCESSING A TRANSACTION BETWEEN A SOURCE TERMINAL AND A DESTINATION TERMINAL, CORRESPONDING BANKING SERVICES SYSTEM, TERMINAL AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
A method for processing a transaction between a source terminal and a destination terminal having a transaction phase is disclosed.
In one aspect the method comprises receiving, by a source BTS, connected to the source terminal, a transaction request originating from the source terminal, the request carrying at least one identifier of the destination terminal and a transaction amount.
Then obtaining, by the source BTS, destination terminal location information, on the basis of at least one location database, denoted BLDB, and the destination terminal identifier.
Then determining, by the source BTS, at least one destination BTS, connected to the destination terminal, on the basis of the destination terminal location information.
Then transmitting to the destination terminal, by the destination BTS, the request or one item of information relating to the transaction.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING AN OBJECT
A system and a method for controlling a bicycle used in an online to offline (O2O) service platform that provides a sharing service of bicycles are provided. The system may detect a pressure signal from at least one part of the bicycle. The system may determine an access permission level based at least on the pressure signal. The system may further control at least one electric control component of the bicycle according to at least the user permission level.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus according to one example embodiment is an information processing apparatus that performs a checkout process for a product or a service, and the information processing apparatus includes: a motion unit that causes the information processing apparatus to autonomously move; a detection unit configured to detect a position of a person; and a control unit that controls the motion unit in accordance with the position of the person.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING, TRACKING, AND PREDICTING THE LOCATION OF MOVING MERCHANTS
Customer transaction data is processed to determine transaction locations for transactions, including transactions whose locations are not initially known. The transaction location data is then utilized to identify merchants that are mobile merchants, and the mobile merchant locations are periodically recalculated and tracked. Customer transaction data is further utilized to identify relationships between mobile merchants and customers of those mobile merchants. Merchant and customer data is also analyzed to identify potential customers of mobile merchants, and data related to the mobile merchants is provided to current and potential customers of those mobile merchants.
DETERMINING SHOPPING DURATION BASED ON A MOVEMENT OF A USER DEVICE AND TRANSACTION DATA
A device may detect a first entry of a first user device of a first user into a merchant area. The device may monitor a movement of the first user device within the merchant area. The movement may include a transition from a shopping area of the merchant area to a checkout area of the merchant area. The device may detect a transaction between the first user and the merchant. The device may determine a shopping duration for the first user and a checkout duration for the first user. The device may detect a second entry of a second user device of a second user into the merchant area. The device may perform one or more actions based on detecting the second entry. The one or more actions may be performed selectively based on the shopping duration or the checkout duration of the first user.
SIMILARITY MEASUREMENT BETWEEN USERS TO DETECT FRAUD
Techniques are disclosed relating to determining validity of a flagged transaction in a transaction service. A server computer system may receive an indication of a flagged transaction between a sending user and a receiving user of a transaction service. The server computer system may collect, responsive to the indication, transaction information including sender information and receiver information, and then determine a similarity value indicative of an amount of similarity between the sender information and the receiver information. The server computer system may assess, based on the similarity value, whether the flagged transaction is valid.
LOCKING SYSTEM FOR EXCHANGE OF ITEMS, SERVICES, AND/OR FACILITIES
One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for facilitating the exchange of an item. For example, a containment component is configured to receive one or more items. A locking component is configured to selectively restrict or allow access to the item. A code generation component is configured to generate and provide an unlocking code to a requestor (e.g., based upon payment by the requestor that requests access to the item). A code entry component is configured to receive user input of a code. The code entry component either retains the locking component in a locked state if the code is not validated as the unlocking code or transitions the locking component into an unlocked state if the code is validated as the unlocking code.
System and Method of Consolidating Identity Services
A method is provided for using consolidated approaches for validating the identity of a user. A request is received to match the user's identity to previously enrolled particulars of the user. After determining that the user's identity has not yet been validated, at least one identity proofing solution is provided as an alternative to self-validation of the user's identity for the request. The identity proofing solution provider is queried to confirm the user's identity by providing the requested identity and an authentication token received from the user. On receipt of a confirmation, the user's identity is validated to the requestor. A corresponding system is also provided.
SYSTEM AND COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD FOR USING LOCATION DATA ON A CARD NETWORK TO DETECT AND ADDRESS BILLING FRAUD
A system and computer-implemented method for detecting and addressing billing fraud by an asserted provider of a good or service based on location data associated with card-based financial transactions by an asserted recipient and collected, stored, analyzed, and acted on by a payment card network to determine and respond to a likelihood of fraud. A computer stores locations of the recipient based on uses of a payment card over a time period, and determines a location of the provider based on location data associated with a card reader at a particular time at which the good or service was allegedly provided. The computer compares the two locations for the particular time and generates a fraud score based on a likelihood that the recipient was physically capable of being at the provider location at the particular time, and based on the score, may notify the recipient and decline the payment request.
PAYMENT CARD AUTHENTICATION MANAGEMENT
A payment card system for authorization and authentication is provided. A computing device monitors one or more transactions to detect various security threats comprising one or more accounts. A computing device determines to elevate a security level associated, at least, with one account based, at least, in part, on detection of, at least, one security threat. A computing device generates at least one temporary personal identification number based, at least, on determination to elevate a security level associated, at least, with one account.
